I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

Tbh I actually laughed. I didn't take it to heart. He was totally mortified afterwards. I'll see him face to face tomorrow.

Did my spin class, burnt 556. Tough class, lot of strength work. Didn't fancy dinner tonight so got a fruit tea and I'm in bed.

I've been picking all day today, although I think I came in at 900 cals. I've got to stop eating rice cakes and peanut butter 😯😳

How often should I weigh myself? Once a month? Not sure I can resist 😂 you are right though sol I should ease of the scales

Morning all,

I'm going to struggle to keep within my 800 cals. I have tofu stir fry for dinner. It's my fave 😋 the tofu is coated in corn flour, fried the drizzled with honey and then coated in sesame seeds. 🥰

Breakfast - greek yogurt and berries
Snack - veggie crudités
Lunch - m&s veggie soup
Snack - eggs
Dinner - tofu stir fry

I can already tell that I'm looking at 1000 cals as I won't be able to resist a few corn cakes/rice cakes

I think I have gone over 2000 cals today. I have felt very strange today not sure why. Tomorrow will be better. Both boys asleep, tempted to go to bed myself 😂

Hi. You all seem to be doing so well. That tofu sounds amazing Rachey, I might try some at the weekend.

I’ve got a weird cough and cold thing so feeling fairly run down. I didn’t exercise today or yesterday, I’m so tired. Been getting to approx 1000 cals per day but trying not to go over, haven’t managed one fast day yet - sorry.

DS2’s birthday party on Saturday so trying to stay on plan until then.

Sorry for gloomy post, just feel like crap.

Thanks for the well wishes. It's not often I feel low. But I've just come on so not sure if it's related? I really stuffed my face yesterday and I woke up feeling very uncomfortable, I'm hoping this is a sign that my body is getting used to not eating so much food?

pom 900 cals is great. I really went crazy yesterday 😳 are you at work today? Is it better? I'm not a huge fan of my manager either. Lots for bitchiness and back stabbing

Ds2 just had his pre school injections (6 months late Blush) he really didn't take it well. I think it brought back memories-of boxing day when he needed local and stitches.

I'm really trying to be good today haven't eaten yet....... did a 45 min spin class burnt 570 cals

I fell off the wagon too Rachey, I was supposed to have a fruit and soup day, instead I had a pot noodle and beetroot and halloumi burger. I am terrible. Feeling shit because of my cold and just wanted comfort food. I’ll try to be better today.

I’m toying with the idea of starting JD this week. I feel like I need a big loss to keep motivated and I like the idea that this day next week I could be a stone lighter - that would be a total loss of 24lbs since January started. I think I’ve just talked myself in to it.

Anyone up for being my diet buddy?

Argh I have woke up feeling crap. Have eaten crap these past few days and I have constant tummy ache. And I over slept so haven't made it to the gym.*

Sorry you’re not feeling too good Rachey and Pom. Do you think you’re coming down with the nasty cold virus that’s going around. How’s your diet going Green?

Day 1 of JD. I’m feeling like I can do it this week, I want to be 14lbs lighter next Monday. I just need to stay busy in the evening to stop myself pigging out. So my goal for this week is to lose 10lbs minimum. Fingers crossed!!!

pom how are you feeling today? Is it feb half term for your big Florida holiday?

green how were your purchases? Did you return them all?

I'm doing a strict week. I'm working late tonight so I won't have dinner. Going to aim for 800 cals every day this week.

The diet is going quite well thanks. I lost 4lb in the last week (weekend went slightly wrong!)
Getting back on the right track today.

The Oasis clothes were all nice and I’m keeping them.

Sorry you’re feeling down Rachey, I think the decision to not have any more children is one that’s made with the head and not the heart, and it takes the heart a while to catch up. I always saw myself having 3 kids but sadly it wasn’t to be.

Can you link to your clothes Green? I need some style inspiration. I bought lots of fitted wool jumpers for work and I love them, smart with little effort.

Pom I moved my weigh in day to Wednesday, Monday’s were not working for me.

Thanks for the kind words sol deep down I know it's he right thing to do. We can afford nice holidays, kids are at an age now where things are getting (a little) easier. It's just tough to hear that's it.

pom 1 or 3lbs is still such a great loss. How much will it be this year in total?

green 4lbs is amazing. We are all allowed a wobble, it's great that you have just got back on it.

Not such a great day food wise but will be within my 800 cals. Just heading home now then I think straight to bed 😁
