I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

I had superfood rice for dinner. It tasted like sadness and disappointment. So I just had a Freddo bar, actually I had two and I’ve swapped wine for vodka for the time being. I managed to fast til 1.30 so hopefully this fat will begin to disappear. Desperately trying to remember the 3 month rule.

How’s everyone else doing?

Evening all,

Been doing ok, it was ds1 birthday yesterday so went to harvester for dinner had sea bass and steamed veg then I did have strawberry cheese cake sundae 😳

I weighed myself this morning and I'm 11st 1lb I've eaten a few carbs today but very minimal. Had soya mince chilli with cauliflower rice
Just about to eat some 85% dark chocolate

Have had an awful day with ds2 and just spent the last 2hrs scrapping stickers off a toy kitchen.

pom I bet your not huge, I also hate my arms though. Well done on your runs. 500 cals is amazing. Kettle bell work outs are good for arms. Lifting above the head

sol oppps I forgot the 3 months 😬 oh no what was superfood rice, I'll stay away I have enough sadness and disappointment recently 😂

Haha pom I'm at least least 7 single gins in.......singing on ds1 karaoke machine 😳 thank god someone has taken the mike off me as I've had it at least an hour 😳😳😳😳

And I've eaten fish and chips and 3/4 bag of peanut M&m s today 😬

Pom I’m on for start again Monday.

I managed to fast until 2.30 yesterday and then fecked it all up by going out for a massive Indian dinner and had loads of wine and a fair few vodkas. Staying away from the scales today, such a porker. I’ll try to fast today but I have a bit of a hangover.

Sounds like we all had great weekends.
I stuffed my piggy face yesterday. And now my tummy hurts 😢

Back to low carb today.
Breakfast - 2x boiled eggs with avocado and spinach
Lunch - griddled salmon with spinach and avocado
Dinner ???? I have no food in the house as we were away for the weekend

Might try and make it to the gym tonight but depends if I can leave on time

Yep, started here again too. Trying to fast but I’ve been up since 2 with DS so does that count as fasting?

Going to try and give up alcohol during the week, I’ve gotten in to some bad habits. And low carb of course.

Me and dh put up the dcs trampoline last night. Took 1.5 hrs which isn't to bad?

I have a weekend away with out dh or dcs. I'm very excited although not looking forward to the long drive. I also have a festival the follow weekend with just dh. I was hoping to be a few pounds lighter but alas I have failed.

And so I begin again.

I’m doing a 3 day soup cleanse starting today. Lots of veg and lentils and fluids to clean out my system and hopefully reset my terribleness eating habits.

We received a save the date card for a wedding in Oct for DH’s family who I haven’t seen in years so it’s my target to lose weight by then. I tried on the dresses I’ve worn to the last few weddings and nothing fits so I need to diet back down to size.

I’ve also been looking up vegan keto recipes and there are loads so I might try adding a few of them in to my diet. I’ll try anything at this stage.

A soup diet in this heat is grim. I’m sweating like a troll. I mightn’t make the full 3 days.

Where are you off to Pom? Is it with your kids or will you get some peace?

Is the 5th a bank holiday in the UK? A bank holiday is no time to start a diet.

Soup does sound like it would be difficult, could you have chilled soup? Not sure how palatable that is though.

Oh no pom I have just had a weekend away in Liverpool without dc. And as much as I love them I had a great time. You defo deserve already a little time on your own.

sol no it's only a bank holiday in Scotland. I desperately need to get back on the wagon although I'm not joking you on the soup diet 😂

How are you all coping with the heat in the UK? It looks horribly sweaty. I wouldn’t be able to cope. It’s warm with a lovely fresh breeze here, I live at the foot of the mountains so we always have a breeze.

Trying to eat healthily and low carb for the rest of the Summer, and my life. I have been really struggling with how much I hate how I look and how I keep self sabotaging, I’m the only one who can do this but I keep stopping myself.

How was Liverpool Rachey?

We never get away as a couple either Pom, but I counteract this by paying a fortune for a suite when we go away so we have some space from the kids in the evening. It’s worth every penny.

Green I join you in whale status. But I really like whales so that’s ok. A whale in leggings. How did your decluttering go? I’ve started and it’s endless.

Horribly sweaty describes it well Sol I suppose I’m lucky as we are not in the South though!

I also like whales! I need to start the healthy eating again. Calorie counting was helpful but I’m never consistent enough.
Yes, the decluttering is endless. I’ve got rid of lots but there’s still stuff everywhere.
I ordered some cupboards (for the hallway and utility). But I’m still waiting for them.
Puppy arrives tomorrow!!!!! I’d better go and finish puppy proofing now.
