Just checking in, how has everyone’s week been? I’ve managed to stick to 16:8 again this week (I do have a coffee when I get up as I can’t function without it!), just weighed myself and have lost 0.5lb this week. Better than nothing but was hoping for a little more, never mind!

lastqueenofscotland · 16/11/2018 10:18

HairsprayBabe · 16/11/2018 10:33

@lastqueenofscotland "waves" Hello there! Yes Got engaged in New York to the non scoundrel who asked me on a date after I left my ex in Feb. He said he couldn't wait to ask me out as he had let me get away once and knew I wouldn't be single long... he was correct.

Congratulations glad it all worked out!

My lovelife is still a mess but I was totally golden yesterday and on track to be today 🤷🏻‍♀️

Therealjudgejudy · 17/11/2018 13:58

Checking in.

@Hairspray, you sound like you are getting well organised! Exciting timesSmile.

Gym done this morning...then I went and did my food shop. Goodness me...all the lovely Xmas goodies in the shops!I did get some stuff but it's in the Xmas treat cupboard so I'll hopefully leave it alone.

Butternut squash ravaoli for dinner tonight. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Sukiesue12 · 17/11/2018 15:04

Checking in!
Managed 500g off this week but have not weighed myself since a wedding yesterday where I decided to let loose and enjoy. Little bit worrried as I have all of my Christmas meals out in the next 2 weeks so am going to have to be strict on all the other days. Hopefully then I can push through to get down to 70kg before the new year! Have a good weekend all

Autumnnymph · 17/11/2018 16:04

@hairspray love that bridesmaid dress!

Sorry I have been rubbish at posting this month everyone - its been manic!

I have had a golden week and weigh today shows me at 57.3 kgs so a solid 800 gms off. Hoping to see the same tomorrow. It is when i hit this range that i seem to gain it back on the next week so going to extra vigilant to ensure it doesn't happen.

I even went through two movies at the cinema this morning without buttery popcorn - took roasted nuts with me instead. Breakfast was toast topped with scrambled tofu and veggies. I wasnt hungry at lunch with that and the nuts so just had a yoghurt. Dinner with dal and rotis with a large side of veggies.

lastqueenofscotland · 17/11/2018 16:23

Also hair I have shamelessly followed your gram Smile
It’s Em in case you were wondering who the weirdo was haha

lastqueenofscotland · 17/11/2018 16:26

Also busy days at work are good for diets. I’ve had a handful of hula hoops all day.

Autumnnymph · 17/11/2018 17:55

also @Hairspraybabe just followed you on Insta in case you wondered who that was! you look fab!

lastqueenofscotland · 17/11/2018 21:04

Also good for dieting
Babysitting your friends two year old who won’t let you out of her sight. I hope I’ve lost 5 stone by tomorrow

Autumnnymph · 17/11/2018 21:46

@lastqueenofscotland 😂 when DD was that age I recall hitting the cookies, cake and wine hard past her bedtime

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 18/11/2018 09:25

I’ve also been rubbish at posting here, sorry! I’ve not really been focussed on eating well but I weighed myself on Friday and I’m maintaining at 8 stone 12. Would love to see a bit of movement this week!

lastqueenofscotland busy days are work are also my diet secret Grin there’s nothing like an unintentional fast day..

Your wedding plans sound lovely Hairspray! Love the colour scheme.

HairsprayBabe · 19/11/2018 08:46

Had quite a food filled weekend,
Went to the German markets in Brum on Saturday had lunch at an amazing Turkish restaurant, yesterday DPs new Coffee shop opened so we went along to support the opening, and in the evening there was a Wrestling PPV so we stayed up and had kettle chips and popcorn!

Will weigh in again on Friday!

CoffeeAndCupcakes85 · 19/11/2018 17:48

Sounds fun Hairspray.

Lastqueen - did you lose the 5 stone? Grin

No change her at all, which is seriously annoying. Especially as I have had a few good days Sad. Seriously want to be under 12 stone by Christmas Sad, especially as there’s a party I’m going to a month today and I’d like to lose a few Lindas by then!

Autumnnymph · 19/11/2018 18:58

I have gained back 300 gms which is annoying but i am going to grit my teeth and consider that I have still lost 300 measly grams n net this week. Really want to start Dec at 57kg and try to get to 56 before I go to India for the holiday period where I know food will abound.

I am weighing myself every day again now. I know many recommend against it but it keeps me motivated and focussed.

KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 20/11/2018 07:31

Urgh. I've had a horrible week. Not even sure why really other than I'd been feeling a bit low due to work stress and a string of bad news. Not even my bad news, but friends going through stuff and me supporting them / being affected by it.

Anyway a week or so back I decided that I would give myself permission to relax about food for a day or two because life's too short and I needed to give myself a boost.

My couple of days has become 10 days. It's so true that the more you eat the more you crave.

It's the sugary crap that's my downfall. I had 3 normal healthy meals yesterday.

I also had a Danish from greggs, most of a dairy milk and a vanilla slice. Oh and about 3 gold bars and some flapjack.

I was having a hormonal day yesterday which didn't help but the days leading up to it weren't much better Sad

I can't seem to keep in the zone for more than 2 or 3 days at the moment. I'm going to try to keep off the sugar today and see how it goes.

lastqueenofscotland · 20/11/2018 11:19

Bishop I’m having the 2/3 day issue. Angry
I was SO in the zone earlier this year but currently just cba haha

QuimReaper · 20/11/2018 11:46

Hairspray your bridesmaid dresses are GORGEOUS! I am longing for that for a Christmas party, hoping it'll come into stock in my size, the colour is to die for! Also that foodie weekend sounds very worth it.

Autumn isn't that 500g lost (800 of, 300 back on)? I think that's fab for a week! It's always frustrating how weight just doesn't go steadily down though - the dangers of daily weighing, although I do know what you mean about it keeping you on the straight 'n' narrow, I tend to weigh every other day when I'm really going for it.

lasty a full day at work and babysitting a toddler on a Saturday? You're a saint! Bet you needed wine once the child finally passed out though Grin

Kicky it's a vicious cycle once you decide to ease up, isn't it - I'm generally pretty good but I remember last winter I started eating in the run-up to Christmas and then just didn't stop until the end of January, I just couldn't seem to break the cycle once I'd started. I wasn't even enjoying it that much, I felt really podgy and uncomfortable but kept being stymied by my social calendar, so just filled in the gaps myself Confused Don't worry, you'll find the wagon again and undo the damage, one day at a time. I know you can do this, I've watched you!

Last week was golden until Thurs and then madness until Sun so not sure what to expect on Friday, but I'm gritting my teeth and soldiering on. If I'm eversoeversogood this week and next maybe I'll manage a kilo by December...

Autumnnymph · 20/11/2018 17:50

@Quim you are right - its 500gm off - Math went out of the window with the gain back :D

I know i shouldn't let the minor gain backs worry me when i do a daily weigh in but this weight range has been my challenge for the apst few months. The daily weigh ins keep me in the zone especially over the weekends.

I had another golden day today and despite the crap weather due to awful traffic outside, I didnt take the bus and just walked everywhere which means I managed 12,000 steps.

Whats everyone having for dinner? I made a spinach and lentil stew.

HairsprayBabe · 21/11/2018 09:32

Thank you, they would be LOVELY Quim if my bloody bridesmaids had responded in time but now their sizes are out of stock.... grumps

Okish day for me yesterday ended on1350

Was in a nibbly mood all Monday so did rubbishly then....

Feeling a bit festive can't belive this time next month i will be "off" for Christmas!

Autumnnymph · 21/11/2018 09:55

@HairSprayBabe that’s annoying about the dresses!

I was hormonal and nibbly yesterday as well and ate far too much last night as I was prepping for an interview. There is something about the cold weather that makes it so easy to just stay in bed and eat.

lastqueenofscotland · 21/11/2018 12:05

Managed a good day on both Monday and Tuesday and haven’t nosedived off the wagon today yet either. At a wedding on Friday so must resist eating body weight of shit then

ponygirlcurtis · 21/11/2018 14:32

Hello everyone, I haven't been on here much this month due to various things. Not much to report, I am mostly STS but due to my focus being off I think I might be creeping up a lb or so. Must. Stop. The Creep!

Made Slimming World pulled pork last night in the slow cooker - love it! Bulk it up with loads of lovely veg. Job done. If I can just more or less maintain till after Christmas. That's the dream!

Happy birthday for this week TV, hope you are doing something nice.
