I know how you feel sbdb - staying with the in laws and have just had a big fry up, last night had a big roast dinner. My calorie count is out the window. But it’s all v delicious 😋 back to normal when I get back home. Hope the rest of you are getting on well. It’s frustrating how slow a process it is - I am dreaming of the weight magically vanishing but no such luck. Suppose I spent a long time putting it on!!!! Makes sense it will take a long time to lose.

It's been really tough! Had a big work lunch on Friday but balanced it out by not having dinner. Did pretty good yesterday & doing ok today. Plan is to weigh-in on Wednesday

Well done those who have managed to stick with it!
I’ve just booked 8 days in Spain on September 22nd with dh and ds. Need to have shifted a stone by then to feel comfortable. Nothing like a deadline!! The race is on!

I've just set up a new mfp and plan to actually log everything from now on. Ive been tinkering around and realised where my old mfp was linked to my Fitbit account, every time I lost some weight on mfp I got a badge on Fitbit... which I think means that's how many times I've lost and gained the same few lb since last year..If that hasn't smacked me in the face to get in gear then I don't know what will. I might be going to a caravan so I've not really got the same incentive 😂😂😂

Not that there is anything wrong with caravanning but theres no weight loss incentive really is there, although the corridors can be a bit narrow 😂

Well done Britney - I am at the other end of the scale - my worst day today since I started regime - crisps, jellies, Maltesers, gin, sausages....... oh dear!!!! Tomorrow is a new day to get back on track - I will hop back up on the wagon........again!!!!!

Well done Britney! I’ve had a good day too and stuck to 1500 cals. Hopefully this will be reflected when I weigh in tomorrow morning!
Getting all the stuff sorted for the holiday so I’m hoping this will help me to stay motivated! Next stop is more exercise!

Weighed in at 12at 4lb so that’s a pound off this week despite a really bad weekend where I was weighing two more than that! Really pleased that I am back on it. Hoping for 2 off this week to accelerate my loss for my holiday. Lots more walking needed and now it’s cooling down a little hopefully that will help.

Sad I ate 2250 yesterday, however did 15k steps, so that should've burnt some of it off, right?! Weighing in tomorrow 😬

11k steps done today, feeling good but got maaaajor chub rub - it's bleeding Shock that's what I get for trying to get rid of my fat, it attacks me Grin

Today's meals:

  • Mini weetabix for brunch
  • 2 x packs of mini cheddars mid afternoonGrin
  • 2 x chicken drumsticks and some new potatoes in the evening

And a crap load of water! So not bad all in all.

How are you lovely lot getting on? Sorry I've been not as focused, I've got uni coursework to be doing but I'm back to kick you all up the backside if you do the same for me WinkGrin

Hope You have old sheets that stuff get everywhere!

I had a whole chicken chow mein with sweet n sour sauce and mini veg rolls..could have been worse but I can practically feel the salt sticking in my .. wherever salt goes in your body..

2 months til my bday, I'm aiming for a stone by then (I promised myself I'd be skinny by the time I'm 30 but didn't get there. Technically I have 2 months of still being 30 and haven't broken promise til I turn 31(see what I did there) so the race is still on!

Ahh yes that's a good compromise! Mine is the 4th of September so I won't be slim by then but I can certainly be less bloated!

Can I join please? I have tried so many times before but the time has come .
I am eating and drinking too much . I am going to meal plan today and go to the gym this morning.

My meals tend to be pretty healthy (ish) but I snack far too much. And I have got into a bad habit of having a ripple most evenings which is obviously not helping.

How do you stop the snacking ? If you have.

I stopped snacking so much by drinking water where possible or swapping bad snacks out for good ones such as fruit or carrot sticks etc.

Or just say I'm allowed this ONE good snack such as the ripple, and look forward to it all day. Then you can tell yourself "I'll be good now and then the ripple will taste even nicer"

It's all about moderation and give and take!

The ripple was confusing me until I saw I had written it earlier instead of tipple Gin ooops.

Meal plan is done and I have been to the gym . I am going to have lunch and then drag my ds of the xbox and go for a walk.

If I am not in the house where the food is then I can't eat it!
