Anyone want to join me in sorting their shit out! 2.5 stones to lose and I'm starting tomorrow.

Hi all just checking in,

It’s been a stressful two days sorting out my daughters needs she has ASD and suffers from anxiety.

I know it’s not healthy but all the stress stops me from eating just drink too much coffee and not enough water.

The edge how do you do it - drinking more water I just spend all my time peeing even if I just look a glass of it Smile

Didn’t bother calorie counting at the weekend as there was a celebration but most food consumed was cooked from scratch and was fish or seafood. Champagne might have been consumed but was enjoyed.

Chicken and vegetables tonight.

Must exercise tomorrow too. They say that is good for stress busting.

Keep going everyone I hope to loose one pound this week but I have those damn digital scales and they have a mind of there own.

ZetaPuppis · 12/06/2018 19:48

I’m exhausted today.
Food was
Porridge
2 Rice cakes with marmite
Lychee
Crisps
Rice noodles, veg and salmon (small portion)
2 pieces dark chocolate

ZetaPuppis · 12/06/2018 19:49

And a packet of itsu prawn cracker with wasabi.

squidgesquodge · 12/06/2018 19:49

A hideous day for me. A cold & getting my period means I want to do nothing but eat ice cream (to soothe my throat) and chocolate and carbs. I'm at about 1700 cals already. I may go to bed in a minute which will mean I don't have dinner and so avoid those calories.

Rainbowblume · 12/06/2018 20:07

Evening all. Day 3 here.
Food
B. Weetabix, a bit of muesli some banana and milk
L. Sausage and veg casserole (last left offers thank goodness) and brown rice smaller portion and managed to squeeze a nectarine and a handful of lettuce onto plate.
D. Wholemeal pasta with pesto, some fried cheese, about 60grams precooked and cucumber, tomato and beetroot.

To drink. One coffee with sugar, one yogi tea with honey. One peppermint tea. Water. I don't count calories. I'm just eating three meals a day of what I fancy. Never more than what I can get on one plate. No S diet is what it is called. I'll have to work out more for results though.

Exercise. Nothing other than 15 minutes yoga to stop my back seizing up.

Keep on it and thanks so much for this thread. Without it I would have succumbed to cake and ice cream.

cmcc22 · 12/06/2018 22:16

Kitchen closed here at 7pm - hoping by limiting the hours of eating to between 1 and 7 I can eat less calories.

Also hoping the digital scales are kinder tomorrow - I moved them this morning and now will leave them alone.

frustratedashell · 12/06/2018 22:28

Had a stressful afternoon! Ended up in a & e due to laboured breathing. Been thoroughly checked over and it seems to be something to do with my acid reflux. Was a bit worried that it might be heart related as my dad died of a heart attack at the age of 43. Had a twix finger and 3 biscuits. Thinking I'm not doing well !

JustLurkingAway · 12/06/2018 22:29

I've been avoiding this thread for a bit...awful start to the week for me. Due my period at the end of the week and I've just been eating anything and everything all day.

Don't think the scales will be too kind to me on FridaySad Anyway, hope everyone else is doing well!

ZetaPuppis · 12/06/2018 23:25

Oh no frustrated poor you. Sounds horrible. Do you have foods that trigger it? It’s worth keeping a diary if you’re prone to it.

Justlurking it’s good you’ve come back and faced it. Hopefully it’ll help you get back on track. I get like that if I eat bread. I just end up being an eating machine.

cmcc I’m doing that too. I’m not eating before 1. Sometimes 2.30 but I’ve got a 7pm curfew too. It’s really helping me. As long as I don’t eat toast or a sandwich.

It’s such a struggle isn’t it? I’ve spent years trying to lose the baby weight and I’m hoping I’ve found some tactics that are helping me at the moment. Being slim and looking good in my clothes feels like an unattainable goal for me. This thread is definitely helping me too.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 13/06/2018 08:41

Rainbow, are you having S days at weekends? I have tried No S but didn’t lose any weight. I am still trying to stick to the No Sweets, No Snacks, No Seconds rule, although I’m now calorie counting as well. I think my portions were just too big!

Yesterday’s food:
B: Apple and cinnamon porridge pot
L: Smoked salmon sandwich & bag of crisps
D: Baked potato, tuna, beans, cheese and salad.
Exercise: circuit class - allegedly burned 433 calories. I would love to believe that!

ZetaPuppis · 13/06/2018 09:19

I weighed myself this morning. I’ve actually lost 7lbs since I joined this thread Shock and Grin
I’m sure some of that is the water and dough weight from all the bread I’d probably eaten before I started but I’m so pleased with that.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 13/06/2018 09:20

Wow, Zeta, that’s amazing! Well done you!

frustratedashell · 13/06/2018 10:37

Thanks Zeta. I usually take tablets every day for the reflux. Yes good idea about looking at what I'm eating. Well done on your weight loss, that's brilliant! I watched my 600lb life last night, made me feel quite slim. Awful for those poor people

theedgeofthecloud · 13/06/2018 11:06

Good day yesterday despite being in an office full of treats - lots of salad, no bread, no sugar, then a bit of a blip last night with a few post-work beers and scampi, chips and peas Blush. In my defense, it was about the healthiest thing on the pub menu and I barely ate any chips, just had the scampi and peas.

Strawberries, rhubarb, natural yoghurt and a teeny bit of muesli this morning, got a yoga class at lunchtime (which I'm crapping myself about as it's listed as 'dynamic' yoga, something I am definitely not Wink. Going to do something with eggs and veg for tea.

amaygdala58 - yes it's a challenge drinking more water and not spending all day on the loo...Grin

Have a good day everyone.

SlinkyB · 13/06/2018 18:12

Hello all, I have also been avoiding this thread as have had post-holiday blues so been consoling myself with sweet treats. Starting to get my mojo back tho so going to plod on. Not expecting any loss this week.

The good news is that I am now a member of our local leisure hotel place, so took the kids swimming yesterday and went to a Zumba class this morning. Gym induction is Friday morning Smile

ZetaPuppis · 13/06/2018 18:51

Welcome back Slinky. Good to hear you’re getting your mojo back.

My food for today was
Omelette
2 rice cakes and marmite
Crisps
Peach
2 veggie sausages and beans
Bit of chocolate and icecream

I think that was it.

ltk · 13/06/2018 21:38

rainbow I am doing more or less the same as you, though never thought to call it No S. 3 meals a day, plus a small handful of almonds or walnuts to snack on once/day. For me it is about not being hungry, which just makes the sweets irresistable! I can say no to cake if I have had a good meal.

rabbitmat · 13/06/2018 21:44

I'm actually finding it easier being at work than it is at the weekends. There have been cakes in the office twice this week and I have completely ignored them.
Today I have had:

porridge with banana
scrambled egg with avocado and tomatoes
2 chicken fajitas and a handful of raspberries

Rainbowblume · 13/06/2018 21:58

frustrated poor you! I really hope you are feeling better soon.

cheddar I am only four days in Grin so I think I try to limit myself to treats when we are invited to other people's houses which isn't that often.

Rainbowblume · 13/06/2018 22:11

ltk yes it's a real plan written by an engineer. Good luck!
zeta well done!
Today's food
B. Microwaved egg, small carrot and tomato
L. Wrap with hummus lettuce cucumber, beetroot and a gigantic 100g portion of fried halloumi
D. Pea and mushroom risotto with a tablespoon of parmesan and lettuce, beetroot, cucumber tomato and few pinenuts salad.

cheddar I might have to cut down the portions or do some swaps. I just worked out the wrap bread and halloumi alone were 550 calories.

To drink - water, 1 coffee with milk and sugar.

Exercise - nothing other than 8000 steps of general living, taking kid to daycare

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 14/06/2018 08:09

Yesterday I came in slightly over calories, but I did a BodyPump class and I’m sure that must have burned some!

Balloondog · 14/06/2018 10:26

My newly stable digital scales had me at 73.1kgs this morning. It would be great to weigh in at under 73 tomorrow for our weekly weigh in, fingers crossed. This thread has been a godsend, I'm feeling much more accountable and have actually started to see results for once! Thanks all!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 14/06/2018 11:43

Mine are just messing with me now. 64kg in Monday and 54.7 today 🤔???

frustratedashell · 14/06/2018 12:24

Oh God! Weighed myself this morning. I've put on 2.75lbs. I must admit I've been naughty! Plus my back being bad hasn't helped. I feel like chucking in the towel.
Plus a neighbour knocked on the door this morning to tell me something and said I think you've gone mental. She was being serious! Long back story but I stopped being friends with her about 8 weeks ago.

Doje · 14/06/2018 13:41

Gaaaah..! Struggling today. Tired and hungry, hungry, hungry.

All my calories are accounted for, I've got to make it through to 5pm for dinner and I'm hungry already.

Why are there no (tasty) zero calorie foods?
