Can you guess what that’s supposed to be?

Flowerypig · 15/06/2018 20:13

I was surprised myself to discover that’s a Jane plan lasagne!
Lasagnes have cheese.
This does not have cheese.
This is NOT a lasagne!
However, if you think it’s a pasta and sauce dish it’s pretty nice! 😂

Flowerypig · 15/06/2018 20:24

Looking back- my food photography doesn’t make the food look very appetising! It’s nicer than it looks- honest!

Flowerypig · 15/06/2018 20:42

peppers on the website it says you be having around 1200 a day- but I found all the most calorific things and they only just add up to that! If you are choosing lighter things you’ll come in quite a bit under that.
Most calorific items plus examples of typical everyday extras
200kcals toffee pecan granola
326 kcals chana dhal
390 beef lasagne
95 almonds
100 kcals for 200 ml semi skimmed milk
33 kcal 100 g strawberries
52 kcals an apple
20 kcals 100 g side salad
68kcals 200g broccoli
Total: 1284

Peppersandrice · 15/06/2018 20:51

Are you meant to have an AM fruit snack? I’ve just been having a handful of strawberries with brekkie. Prob would make a difference if I added another fruit portion.
I had the chicken kirma tonight with added mushrooms, courgette and baby corns instead of the beef regu.
As much as I’d love to go and have a piece of toast I am resisting! I’ve been reading through the success stories on the website to keep me motivated!

bbcessex · 15/06/2018 21:23

I also had the lasagne tonight Flowery - I nuke it so it’s crispy and out a bit of Parmesan on it.

Peppers - it may not be on the official guide, but you can defo have some fruit in the morning if you want - it’s not going to make a massive difference and will help you stay on track.

I’m going to try for loads water this weekend..

Peppersandrice · 18/06/2018 19:12

It’s my first weigh in tomorrow. I have stuck to the JP religiously so I’ve got everything crossed. Not been struggling with hunger the last couple days so hopefully getting used to the smaller portions!

feral · 18/06/2018 21:17

Woot 7lb off my first week and that was with a weekend away where I had to eat out 3 times!

Peppersandrice · 18/06/2018 21:55

Wow ferel that’s an amazing loss! I’d be so chuffed if I get anything like that tomorrow. Well done!

Flowerypig · 18/06/2018 21:58

feral that’s amazing! Well done!
peppers come back tomorrow and tell us how you’ve gotten on. Fingers crossed for you!
Just had the chilli for tea- was really spicy! 🌶

bbcessex · 18/06/2018 23:22

Peppersandrice · 19/06/2018 10:19

Lost 5lbs on week one! Quite chuffed. I’m down over a stone now since about February. My goal is a stone in the first month so hopefully keep up the losses.

Flowerypig · 19/06/2018 11:04

Wow peppers- that’s great! Well done. You’ll get to stone easy like that!

bbcessex · 20/06/2018 15:14

Great losses everyone - absolutely brilliant !!
👏👏👏

I haven’t posted weight loss because I’ve had a complete diet disaster 😱😳😳😳😳

All self inflicted. Two x 3 day work trips and weekend blowouts.. 4lbs on. What an idiot.

In happier news. After I weighed myself I do recognise I am a fool, and have been back on track for two days now. Am away with work now till Friday and have a case full of cous cous!!

Jane plan has made it easier to get back on it.. but I must stop being a food-twat too Blush

bbc I always reckon that if weight goes in quick it’ll come off quick too. You know it’s got to be a lot of water regain anyway! You’ll do great 👍
Am supposed to weigh in tomorrow- but have not had such a good few days. My dad is terminally ill- it’s been years now and the Drs are saying it’s time for the hospice. My mum’s pretty stressed as she’s his full time carer. As soon as she called me I found a spoon in the kids chocolate spread. I did at least manage to stop my self after that though. Before it would have lead to a all day binge fest. I don’t even like chocolate spread that much.
I’ll report on any weight loss tomorrow! Clean start tomorrow! Me
Eating stuff isn’t going to help Mum and Dad any.
🌸🐷

Peppersandrice · 20/06/2018 20:50

Awe Flower I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s not easy at all.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow though. I think one little slip up won’t damage all the weeks work.

I have changed things up a little bit. I’m not a huge milk fan and only show a cuppa tea the milk so I went out and bought little fat free muller yogurts, at 75 calories, and add one into my daily diet. Will just see if my weight loss is affected but I love a yogurt during a hunger pang as it is quite filling and seems to stop my cravings.

Flowerypig · 21/06/2018 06:42

Wellllllll, i’m down a pound. Still a pound! I’ll take that and get back in this properly this week- even though my little girl has two birthday lunches being thrown for her ( both sets of grandparents) and I need to make two birthday cakes in the shape of owls. Then next weekend she’s having a pizza party. 😂
🌸🐷

Peppersandrice · 21/06/2018 19:45

Any loss is good!
I’ve got a meal out for a friends 40th tomorrow so really nervous about it! I haven’t cheated at all since starting, and don’t want to go crazy, so I’m not drinking, and think will order some sort of grilled chicken or salmon with a side salad.
Had the beef stew with mashed carrot and turnip. Was really good.

Flowerypig · 22/06/2018 09:10

Sounds like a good plan peppers!

Flowerypig · 22/06/2018 20:46

This is my dinner- vegetable cassoulet or something- was very nice anyway!
Here’s my new hobby to keep my hands out of the biscuit tin- crochet Disney princesses. This one is some white!

Is anyone else getting obsessed with weigh ins? My official weigh in is tomorrow but I had a sneaky weigh in yesterday and feel absolutely gutted. I had a meal out on Friday to celebrate a friends 40th but stuck to the plan apart from that. I thought maybe stay the same, but nope, put on 3lbs!!! How.!?? I’m actually dreading the scales tomorrow. Will feel horrible if I put on after only one meal out. I’m having less than 1000 calories every other day.

Flowerypig · 25/06/2018 22:40

peppers that’ll be 3 lbs of water maybe more. The Jane plans are very low salt and restaurant meals are salty and it’s been so hot- you’ll be holding on to lots of water. Drink looooads of water to flush it through. I don’t know why that should be- it just is. Don’t peak till weigh day and you’ll be fine!
