So, winter has us in its icy grasp as March begins but by the end of the month we will be lighter, warmer and, erm, slenderer!

Hurrah feezles!! See? To lose fluid you need to drink fluid. If you don’t hydrate consistently your body hangs onto every drop. Now who’s going to be a good girl with the drinks going forward😉

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 08:18

9.6 again...

Maybe the scales are broken? Have been very golden all week, I fear these last 3lbs will be the hardest! Will drink freaking gallons of water today, and take a fiber supplement this evening to encourage a woosh.

Non-scoundrel is being very sweet, we are going for cocktails on Saturday, maybe dinner if it all feels right, I told him not to book anything so there is no pressure...

Had a very strange diet dream last night, I was eating a huge burger, fries, coleslaw, onion rings a big milkshake the works - then I woke up and I was so angry with myself for ruining my diet! I had to give my head a wobble that it was only a dream! Hmm

QuimReaper · 08/03/2018 08:20

Hairspray I've had that dream before, makes me feel like a right saddo Grin

I know it's annoying to be stuck, but you lost - what, 8lbs? - so rapidly, I'm not surprised your body's taking a bit of time to adjust. I actually think you've done really well to not put any of it back on!

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 08:55

Yes I really should look at it that way, I just get all giddy at a loss but I haven't seen any movement on the scales for 10 days now!

I am worried that even though I am only eating 500 on a fast day and 1200 on a golden day I am moving into maintaining and that cannot be sustainable for the rest of forever!

I was furious with myself Grin such a weird feeling!

I am going to order a dress for Saturday later, will run some options past you lot if you don't mind! I want it to say "I am all grown up and drop dead gorgeous now, but I will only shag you if you really impress me"

QuimReaper · 08/03/2018 10:32

Oooooh, we can definitely find an articulate dress to convey that. IIRC you've got a fabulous rack so I think something slinky, but long sleeved or cut to the elbow, with a not-too-plungy V neck.

I wouldn't worry about the 1200 + fast days being your "maintenance" calories, that's very little for anybody - I think it's just that as you get lighter it gets slooooooower and stall-ier, but things will start moving again. Whenever I've blitzed off half a stone in a fortnight I've found it next to impossible to shift anything else for a few weeks afterwards, but it's always happened eventually.

Ofthread · 08/03/2018 11:44

Hi all you lovely people. My mind is blown by this empty fat cells filled with water thing. I’ve been naked in front of the mirror trying to decide if my fat is jiggly. I don’t think it has changed. Anyway, I’m still stuck at 10.4. but had a rough few days at work and dinner out. I’m going to bed feeling hungry, which is not that nice.

Feezles · 08/03/2018 12:14

Hair - looking forward to seeing some dresses!

Not - yes miss, of course miss! I have bought myself a pretty flowery patterned cup to keep on my desk, as the glasses we have at work are like thimbles. It pleases me greatly.

Front runner but I am not sure about the colour I own a lot of black already, and I have a red dress that I wore recently, concerned the stone might wash me out a bit because i am so pale!

www.boohoo.com/ayn-popper-sleeve-detail-ribbed-midi-dress/DZZ35210.html?color=135 Maybe this but I am not mad keen on the terrcotta and they dont have a 10 in the other colours

www.boohoo.com/vi-square-neck-long-sleeve-bodycon-dress/DZZ36211.html too boring?

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 13:11

www.boohoo.com/cyra-square-neck-thigh-split-midi-dress/DZZ27802.html?color=105 might be too dressy?

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 13:20

www.boohoo.com/haz-frill-sleeve-tie-waist-ruffle-hem-tea-dress/DZZ34462.html?color=188 not sure on the sleaves

www.boohoo.com/indiana-floral-woven-wrap-front-tea-dress/DZZ33549.html i think this one is nice, it is a little bit girl next door I just threw it on type thing, would wear with boots and a leather jacket, not a juge fan of the sleaves either

BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2018 13:40

I work on the basis that you can do tits OR legs, not both

I preferred the third one but then I am old

What about a playsuit? Playful and flirty

OP posts:
BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2018 13:42

This is so cute

Feezles · 08/03/2018 13:42

I like the Vi and the Indiana best for the vibe you wanted.

Remind me how tall you are, Hair? It's relevant, I promise!

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 14:18

5ft 6 Feezles

I love the idea of a playsuit boop and that is very cute! but they are really unflattering on me I carry my weight on my thighs and hips mainly!

I love the Vi but it is too dressy for the bar we are going to.

Love both of those too..

BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2018 14:35

I love the sabra!

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 14:40

I think that is my fave too, I was worried it is a bit cutesy but I might just order it regardless!

BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2018 14:44

I think cute and flirty is the way to go. It's sexy but not trying to be iykwim. And I LOVE that colour. It's a great colour on me and I'm a pale person too.

I might have to buy that playsuit for me

OP posts:
Feezles · 08/03/2018 14:46

Ooh! Sabra is awesome!

I had seen another one I thought would be lovely if you were tall enough (which you are), but when I looked again, I realised it would make you look like you were going to a job interviewSmile

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2018 14:49

"Hi, I am here to interview as potential romantic interest, I have brought my CV and have a portfolio that we can refer to..."

It could work Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2018 14:56

He could end up taking down your credentials Wink

Hi ladies, Well I’m not doing very well so far. 2lbs up since 1st March. Ba humbug. Taking the long view I’m a stone down since the end of last year. I’m hoping it’s natural fluctuations but think it’s more likely too many coffees with cream.

Good luck to you all and hope you achieve your goals.

Therealjudgejudy · 08/03/2018 17:09

@Hairspray sabra is lovely. I love the black tea dress as well. I own about 10 playsuits though...My defo go to night out wear Smile.

So the gym was like a graveyard again today but I'm not complaining because I get my fave machines no contest. Dinner today is going to be salmon, peas, carrots and broccoli with parsley sauce. I'm also going to have an almond scone later because all I've eaten today is a Muller light vanilla and dark chocolate yoghurt #ideatahorse Grin.

twinkledag · 08/03/2018 18:55

My favourite is the MIA Smile
