So, winter has us in its icy grasp as March begins but by the end of the month we will be lighter, warmer and, erm, slenderer!

Kick reading your post the words that stood out to me were “I’m a healthy BMI”, that would be perfect for me and I would maintain. Well done to you, you are amazing.

Hello from away! It’s sunny for the moment but windy & rainy in other spots, enjoying very much, walking my legs off & enjoying the food/drink without too much guilt.
kick, I have to say the way you’ve talked about how you feel at this weight looking at it the way you have is wonderful. The way you’ve spoken in the past when you’ve gained/maintained around the 10.11’ish stage sounded tortured and upset. IMHO, I would aim to stay where you are, if you decide you want to try for the extra half stone off why not. But if you enjoy and can live comfortably at this weight, which by the way you’re my age and a smidge taller than me, sounds perfect! Well done on deliberating so logically & not getting bogged down in numbers

Kick it's about confidence and being comfortable in your own skin. If you feel good at the weight you're at then there is no need to change it (providing the weight is healthy, which as you have said it is). I would focus on maintaining and if you do loose a couple of pounds then that would just be a bonus. (If you gain a couple of pounds that is also okay, weight fluctuates). But I do have to say I don't think dropping your goal weight as soon as you reach it is healthy, which is what you have done previously. Congrats on loosing and it's amazing that you are doing plenty to keep healthy. I would stop focusion on the weight loss now and just start enjoying your new body and enjoying your exercise, instead of it being a chore to loose weight it can now be part of your lifestyle Smile big well done to you ThanksThanks

Morning. Please can you all help me think through my target weight?

I weighed in again this morning at 10 10.6. I've pretty much been 10 10 consistently since the week before Christmas with a couple of small changes in either direction.

Last September I was 11 11 and I'd have been overjoyed to be told I'd lose a stone and keep it off for three months. My original aim was to get to 11 2.

Since I lost the weight last autumn I've revised my target down three times. I'm now aiming for 10 3.

The problem is I'm not sure I care enough about this last half stone to really commit to losing it. I can run much better than when I was a stone heavier and I fit all my clothes better. I'm a healthy bmi and I don't get naked in front of people so I don't care about that. Grin

So I need to decide whether to accept my current weight gracefully or to keep going to my new target of 10 3.

The other issue is that maybe if I decide I'm happy at this weight instead of half heartedly trying to lose more I might start gaining.

I'm 5ft 6 and 43. I'm quite muscly so I am a comfortable size 12 at 10 10. Last time I was 10 3 I wore a size 10 (12 in jeans because I've got muscly thunder thighs!)

Morning! 10st 8 again. Isn't the weather just vile. Have any slenderistas managed to escape it and head for some sunshine. I'm so sick of the rain and cold. I find it so hard to be good when it's so miserable and we are stuck inside. 😬

Have a great day. 😀

Well done on all the losses, all time lows and other fabulous things. I am back up to 8 13.8. Utterly fed up. I had a day off diet though didn’t go nuts, immediately prior to the 8 11 and I’ve been good as gold since but gone back up again. Bodies are weird.

Congrats all on the losses Smile

I have also been supper busy, eating all the chocolate Grin back on the wagon Monday morning I promise. But for now I'm going to put myself into a food coma and be lazy on the sofa watching crap telly and eating ALL. THE. TREATS.

Awesome stuff @BOOP and @Quim.

Supper busy...hahaha Grin.

Unfortunately it was super busy. I'm starving today though. Gym after work and avoid Easter eggs until Sunday is the plan.

Yay quim soft and boop!

No scales victories for me today but I did manage a full hour's running last night and very little pain this morning. Grin

And I hit my step goal despite forgetting to put my fitbit on until 6pm.

I must not get carried away and try to run 10 miles tomorrow. Lots of stretching and foam rollering plus rest days is my plan.

I'm hoping for a more successful April. I've basically plateaud since the week before Christmas Hmm

Well done Quim and Soft best way to start a long weekend.

Happy Easter everyone. Two weeks off eggs coming up, one of the chocolate variety and then another of the birds variety to claw back the damage. Grin

That is stupendously good news Quimster. Very well done! You know you're in the zone when you wish you could do more golden days. Good for you!

I slept for 8 hours straight without waking up once. I cannot tell you how rare that is for me

Have a great day. Circuits smashed this morning. 🤜🏻

Guys! Guys Guys GUYS!

I just saw a new all-time low on the scale!

Shock Shock Shock

I may throw the cat at the scales anyway, just in celebration!

I don't know if anyone remembers me saying last week that I had an artificially high weigh in because I scarfed a giant meal on Thursday night Blush but today I'm showing as ELEVEN HUNDRED GRAMS lighter than last Friday! That's like 2 and a half Lindas! My eyes hadn't woken up properly and I was all grumpy thinking it was only 100g and I was stuckity-stuck, I nearly fainted when I noticed Grin

This makes me feel a lot better about embarking on four days of indulgence...! Damn, wish I had two more straight Golden Weeks lined up so I could wrestle it down a bit further.

Anyway, just had to share - now I'm off to peel a million potatoes...

I didn't go too mad on the second sesh. Just noodled about in the weights section and went in the spa.

Just been out to pick dd1 up from the pub and collapsing into bed. Tomorrow will not be Golden. Football in the pub for me. My two favourite things ever

Happy Easter Hairspray wherever you are and whatever you’re doing (hope it’s good whatever it is).

Report
poorpaws · 29/03/2018 22:55

BOOP you are so right about just scoffing the chocolate down and not really enjoying it. It was a huge egg and was gone in no time at all.

QUIM I’m not sure that chocolate is ever as nice as good sex 🤔 I think I can just about remember 🤫. I couldn’t do a fast day today as I had a meal out this evening but I should do one soon; perhaps an egg day (no I don’t mean Easter egg,I’ve got eggs on the brain).

Last Easter will be a challenge for all of us but we’ll survive and jump back on the wagon afterwards.

Good Friday tomorrow. I hope all of you have a lovely Easter whatever you have planned. If you do go off the rails a little we can all make up for it in April. Hasn’t March gone very quickly, or is that just me? Very Happy Easter to all of you. ⭐️Gold stars for us all in April.

Definitely a gold star for you BOOP.

Man I'm still around 10st 9. Was so wanting to hit 10st 7. Dreading Easter as it is starting with hot cross buns but the salted caramel ones 🙈

TV I hope things are ok. Sounds stressful.

Hope Hairspray is having a truely wonderful time.

Well done on the new low TV, amazing! The elevens are just FLIRTING with you!

BOOP twice a day gym sessions now? You get the Star this week, no mistake. I'm in awe.

Kick that is very kind but I'm definitely saving up my ire for ours - I trod in cat sick TWICE this morning, once with my slippers on, and took them off to clean them before I discovered the second pile... by stepping in it Envy I'm not sure which one it was, but a bit of indiscriminate punishment might rally them Angry
