My plan to lose weight over the summer failed spectacularly.

I actually managed to put on half a stone Blush

So starting today I am getting back on track .

I will get to the gym/out for a jog at least 3 times a week.

I will stop eating so much .

I will have at least 2 dry days a week.

I am in the gym car park now and want to be accountable so here goes.

Wish me luck and please come and join me.

I've lost another Pound too.. I've been super strict though .. I've come to the conclusion my body only needs around 1200 cals a day to maintain And less to lose . I'm short though... it's annoying!!

ThomasinaCoverly · 16/09/2017 12:15

I'm short too, imjessie: I think for me exercise makes the difference between feeling very restricted in what I can eat and being able to be fairly relaxed. The time in my life I was heaviest was when I was working very long hours and doing no physical exercise at all.

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 20/09/2017 06:22

1and a half off for me this week. Takes me to 10lbs in 6 weeks. I'm quite happy with that

imjessie · 20/09/2017 07:45

It's annoying , I do exercise though . Usually 3 x a week and intense cardio . Ah well .. I feel thinner but i haven't lost . 🤷‍♀️

DeliciousIrony · 21/09/2017 21:50

I feel off the thread but haven't been doing too badly. Not a great weekend but trying to get back on track with alternating run with JM shred.

I haven't been weighing myself but someone at work asked if I have lost weight this week, which was mildly thrilling. I feel less bloated and crap so something must be working.

Keep up the good work everyone! Still 95 days until Christmas...we can do it.

Pinkvici22 · 21/09/2017 22:03

Had a great week exercise wise, not bad but not brilliant food...until tonight when I ate a whole share size bag of Maltesers to myself Sad. I'm an emotional eater...

ThomasinaCoverly · 23/09/2017 15:59

I forgot to weigh myself this morning so will do it tomorrow. Crap week in exercise terms, but I have finally started the Shred. I've lost so much upper body strength in the last few months: a year ago L1 was dead easy, and now it's leaving my arms all shaky!

Pinkvici22, I'm an emotional eater too, I'm having a stressful time at work and the team biscuit supplies are just outside my office! It's fatal.

Hi can I join. Weighted in at 17 stone 5 in May the heaviest I've ever been in my life. I rarely drink and eat rather well but I drink my calories in coke. I'm so bad. I've been like this for years and years. Every time I stop I loose weight so quickly but it's always short lived and soon as I start drinking it again I balloon.. my relationship of 10 years broke down 9 weeks ago and he is seeing someone else and TBH it's killing me so I've started to look at myself how I let myself get this big.. I should mention I'm 5 foot 9 and apparently I carry it well (whatever the f that means) wearing size 16 jeans and 18 top. Was always 12-14 max. Was wearing size 14 jeans the day after I had my last baby. Anyway long rant I'm just looking for some support.. wanna loose at least a stone by Xmas if not more .. I'm very active walking 7 days a week and I attend Zumba and I eat well but over 2 liters of fizzy drinks a day can't be helping

ThomasinaCoverly · 24/09/2017 11:37

Damn, weighed myself and have put the two pounds I'd lost since joining this thread back on again! I do feel quite bloated though, so hope it's just temporary water weight.

On the positive side I Shredded again this morning. Aiming for four more times during the coming week, plus a yoga session. I can't bike as DH is working away so I have to do school pick-ups and drop-offs, which doesn't leave me time to cycle to work.

runningonberocca · 24/09/2017 13:10

I'm in. Weighed myself this morning - 12 st 4. By far the biggest I've ever been. None of my clothes fit and anything new I try on looks dreadful. I've been under lots of stress recently which is ongoing but I really need to start looking after myself which I haven't been doing recently. Feel really disgusting and have no confidence in myself any more. Will start with ditching alcohol and all the junk I had been eating and trying to get my 10000 steps in.

runningonberocca · 24/09/2017 19:04

And I've fucked it up already. Tried to avoid anything calorific all day - starving by 5 - ate a full big bar of Lindt milk chocolate haselnut. House in a mess. Can't think of anything to wear tomorrow that I can both fit into and look acceptable in. Important meeting in the morning which I'm dreading. Also meant to be moving house by mid Oct but have found nowhere to rent yet - been crying all day - awake since 4 but exhausted. Sorry for the moan

Cakelesswonder · 24/09/2017 19:16

So just weighed myself getting back from holiday and I am officially the heaviest I have ever been :( 11st fucking 12lbs and gone up two dress sizes to a 12. I know that isn't massive on lots of people but I have a really small frame and look decidedly blob like plus I have a wardrobe full of clothes that are too small. Bought a pair of jeans in Primark today as a concession but that is it! On a mission to lose three stone back down to 8st 12lbs. Going to calorie count and try and exercise at least three times a week.

ThomasinaCoverly · 27/09/2017 18:54

I'm doing OK with the Shred - I've done L1 three times since Sunday, which isn't bad going. Don't feel as though I'm getting any thinner, though!

ThomasinaCoverly · 30/09/2017 12:03

Where's everyone gone?!

I've lost the two pounds again, but not lost any more. Must try harder with the diet next week: I reckon if I stick to the 16:8 and cut out sugar, the last few pounds will come off, but the cutting out sugar part is hard.

imjessie · 30/09/2017 13:34

I'm still here and still going , I follow weight watchers which is the only that works for me . If I cut things out I go crazy and stuff them 🙈
