September is here and the Slenderistas (and TV) have their game face on.

Golden days will be in abundance as we aim to shift 7 Lindas in September

I weigh exactly the same as I did this time last week Angry I don't know why but after such a mega-golden day yesterday and a generally good week I hoped to just be a couple of hundred grams lighter to at least be in the next kg bracket. Also since the end of the last Golden Sprint I've gained a Linda - I know it isn't much but it's like I'm treading water at the moment!

Never mind. Six more golden days on the trot, I should lose at least three more Lindas. I want to lose five thogh.

Why is it so hard and boring?!

NikiBabe · 14/09/2017 13:09

I am well blessed in the arse too hairspray. Often a size bigger on the bottom.

I started at 11.4 and now bouncing from 9.13 to 10.2. So annoying. Wish it would just go down and stay down.

coffeeandrainbows · 14/09/2017 22:58

Amazing hairspray! StarStar

Had a golden day yesterday and feeling back on track after a few days off of the wagon. I have been moving towards low carbing and slowly cutting down on bread, rice, potatoes, pasta but I think I will try to cut out sugar as well to see if I can get rid of my cravings. My sister's wedding is in 4 weeks and I'm going to be a bridesmaid and I would love to feel a bit better in the dress.

Keep at it quim it's hard and boring but we're all here with you so at least it's not lonely Smile

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 15/09/2017 06:37

Morning all!

Well done Hairspray, that is amazing!

Coffee sounds like you are doing well, well done for getting back on track!

I weighed in this morning and I'm still the same, which doesn't surprise me because this week has not been golden! I'm just glad I haven't gained to be honest. Anyway I'm going to try to not go off the rails this weekend and hopefully next week will be goldener Grin

HairsprayBabe · 15/09/2017 07:51

10.3 again booo wanted another loss but at this point I might just be being greedy!

Found out where we are going this weekend! DP must be picking up on the MN vibes as we are headed to a fancy spa weekend!

www.moorhallhotel.co.uk/spa/ if anyone is interested in being nosey!

V excited never been to a spa before what do you do?!

leesmum · 15/09/2017 08:29

Hairspray wow!!! That's Amazing, you should be very proud of yourself Star

TVHubbyClaire · 15/09/2017 08:31

Hotel looks fabulous hairspray and I got it right...intuition or what Smile. Hope you have a lovely time!!

Very golden day yesterday , no dinner at all and I got 10,000 steps in. was up this morning and walking along beach at 6.30 and then demolished a plate of poached eggs, toast and a sausage. hopefully that will keep me going for most of day until I get home around 8pm tonight

I wish there had been scales in my hotel room, would have been a new low for sure....well maybe...Hmm

Hoping for a well behaved semi golden weekend as I am on early flight on Monday again so no need for pub on Sunday

QuimReaper · 15/09/2017 09:05

OOOOH Hairspray I am so envious, you lucky bean! My DH would never think of something like that Grin Do you think this might be, y'know, the very romantic holiday we all got ahead of ourselves about earlier this year? Wink

TV wow, no dinner at all! How did that come about?

You could always do a Quim and nip into a Boots branch and see if they have a weighing scale?

BitOutOfPractice · 15/09/2017 09:37

Hairspray I've been there. So has Chard. It's lovely. Have a fab time

I'm 0.6lbs down today. Hang out the bunting Hmm that's 2.6 for the month. Not exactly setting the work alight but it'll have to do.

I do wish my scales had smaller increments than a lb I feel like I am stuck for days when it must be edging down slowly....

Ooooh! I feel like I would be getting ahead of myself if I said that, maybe, possibly who knows!

6 years and counting....

He did tell my nail tech (his hairdresser) that he had "a plan" relating to such things a while back but I have no more information!

NikiBabe · 15/09/2017 10:34

That's why I like the boditrax scale at the gym hairspray.

It measures to within 100g increments.

NikiBabe · 15/09/2017 10:34

Weighs not measures

Softpebbles · 15/09/2017 10:44

Could be a year for slenderistas proposals 😉

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 15/09/2017 11:18

The hotel looks lovely Hairspray! That does sound like very romantic holiday territory, especially as it was all planned as a surprise.. make sure your nails are done, just in case. You know, for the photos Grin

That sounds very golden TV! Hopefully that will show when you are next able to weigh yourself.

Chardonnay73 · 15/09/2017 11:26

Ooh Hairspray Moor Hall is beautiful! My parents had their wedding reception there, they had the group photos on the stone steps overlooking the golf course!
I was a member at that gym for years, that's where I went every day in the lead up to my wedding ( there must be a plaque somewhere 😂)
I shall loiter in reception looking for a thin person 😂
Started back at the gym this week, managed 20 mins running- go me! Hmm
Weight still bobbing up and down around the same couple of pounds though. Had intended to go today but dh went off to India at 4am this morning and I didn't get back to sleep so I'm exhausted.
I've eaten cheesy puffs for breakfast and watched Jeremy Kyle Blush
Must not spend the next week eating crap and drinking wine Hmm

HairsprayBabe · 15/09/2017 12:29

I am so excited now! Having a facial, full body massage and full use of the "spa facilities" while we are there including gym and exercise classes!

Plus three course dinner and brekky

Thinking if I choose well at breakfast and dinner and do an exercise class I may come away having lost weight?!

DP isn't a wine drinker Sad so I will at most have one glass with dinner on Saturday.....

Fingers crossed it will be very romantic and we will just HAVE to get something fizzy Xmas Wink

HairsprayBabe · 15/09/2017 12:29

Oopsy, not sure where the santa hat come from!

NikiBabe · 15/09/2017 12:44

You know me hairspray.....GYM ALL THE WAY!

Go go go!

You may enjoy it.

NikiBabe · 15/09/2017 13:47

This is an example of one of the classes I do. High intensity but only 30 minutes long.

So it doesn't drag on for ages and is over quickly.

thismeansnothing · 15/09/2017 13:53

Love a grit class nikki the gym I'm at had them on for a while then the PT left and so did the class :(

HairsprayBabe · 15/09/2017 13:55

No classes on at the weekend, but I will go to the gym and do some weights, and the step machine and cross trainer

thismeansnothing · 15/09/2017 21:03

Made this for tea. Sounds odd but I can assure that it was yummy. Don't know how BBC got their nutritional info but scanned it all in MFP and worked out at 244kcal a portion. Winner

ponygirlcurtis · 15/09/2017 21:25

Enjoy your spa treat Hairspray - and how fantastic to achieve your 5st loss before it. Have a fab time, you deserve it. Smile

That sounds lovely thismeansnothing!

QuimReaper · 15/09/2017 21:52

this that looks right up my street! I'd have to halve the recipe at least and I don't have a blender, but I really want to try it!

QuimReaper · 15/09/2017 21:54

Mega golden day here. Dry and golden weekends are such a challenge for me, I'm already fantasising about next week!
