September is here and the Slenderistas (and TV) have their game face on.

Golden days will be in abundance as we aim to shift 7 Lindas in September

Wow..everyone is doing really well Smile

I eventually got steptember going yesterday...14,300 steps but that was over an hour of walking and an hour of badminton which is quite a big chunk of time out of the day. Hmm

I got up at 6.30 today and went for a walk which I really quite enjoyed. I would like that to be a regular thing beyond this challenge.

Away from home for chunks of next 3 weeks so will need to be careful with hotel breakfasts and dinners. Can't decide on big breakfast and tiny lunch or just miss breakfast out as normal.

HairsprayBabe · 08/09/2017 09:17

Egg and wine diet Grin sign me up!

coffeeandrainbows · 08/09/2017 09:22

Egg and wine diet sounds much improved over just eggs Grin

Well done on the steps TV

PrimalLass · 08/09/2017 09:23

I'll just have the wine.

Am trying again today but not holding out much hope. Woke up totally starving and am still hungry after a shit-ton of eggs, whereas I used to skip breakfast.

coffeeandrainbows · 08/09/2017 09:24

And I love that Quim SLENDER. IS. TASK!: (Why is it so hard and boring?!)

Sums it up perfectly

BitOutOfPractice · 08/09/2017 09:37

Here's this week's meme. I've tried to incorporate the wine and eggs theme

Haha nice meme.

It's true that losing weight is really boring, but to be honest I also find it really boring (and hard!) to feel frustrated with myself several times a day for being heavier than I'd like to be.

BitOutOfPractice · 08/09/2017 10:27

Do yo think I should get on with my real work?

HA! the first one looks like the cover of a self help book Boop Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 08/09/2017 10:56

I could write it!

TVHubbyClaire · 08/09/2017 11:12

BOOP - real work is far less useful and rewarding. I think the second one is fab......should be on a big board at a station or roadside

Thank you coffee and of course you are correct, every diet is better with wine Smile

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 08/09/2017 13:16

Loving the memes Boop! Grin

TV well done on the steps and the pre-7am walk! That is true dedication.

Well done Lees, that's a great loss!

BitOutOfPractice · 08/09/2017 18:14

Wish me luck. Just about to run a 5k race in the rain Confused

Well done on your impressive Fri night 5k BOOP Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 09/09/2017 00:22

It played havoc with my hair Hmm

Well done on the race B00P

Well mfp is giving me 1500 cals to lose a pounds a week. That is just above my BMR so I am going to try it for a couple of weeks.

I've been doing ok during the day but giving in to hot chocolate at bedtime... aargh!

But I have lost 600g since Sunday. Just have to see if I can keep it off over the weekend!

Have fish tomorrow for dinner with roasted veg from garden, so that will be a good start. Just need to make the rest of the day virtuous too!

SLENDER IS TASK!!!!

coffeeandrainbows · 09/09/2017 04:19

Happy that makes so much sense - it's hard to lose weight but it's also hard to be overweight for so many reasons. Thanks for framing it that way, it has really helped me to get some focus and perspective back Smile

Great job doing the 5k BOOP and I'm loving the memes

HairsprayBabe · 09/09/2017 06:32

10.6 sts from the start of the month.

I. Will. Not. Gain. This. Weekend.

HappyGowerGirl · 09/09/2017 07:10

Been feeling pretty ill and nauseous yesterday, no appetite. Weighed in at 9.9 this morning but I really think this (losing 3lb in 3 days) isn't sustainable, I imagine it's only because I wasn't feeling well yesterday and at hardly anything.

Got a big party this weekend which will be very food/booze heavy so I'll definitely come back heavier from that!

Good luck to all

ponygirlcurtis · 09/09/2017 09:52

Loving your work BOOP - both the 5k run and the memes. They are great!

You're right Happy, it's not sustainable if it's making you feel unwell. At least you have a buffer against your big weekend though.

I am down a bit but as ever I never trust the scales until I see the say the same thing a few mornings in a row. Going out for lunch today but should get lots of steps in to help a wee bit .

Chardonnay73 · 09/09/2017 13:32

I've just been for my first run since my back injury in April! I did a steady 10 mins and then stopped, could have done more but as it was my first one I didn't want to push it.
I sat in the car and had a little cry afterwards Blush
I never thought I'd run again when I was at my very worst and bedbound for 2 months.
But fingers crossed it will hold out and I can start running regularly again, it's the only way I get weight off - just that last 7lbs to goal - I will do this!!!!

NikiBarbie · 09/09/2017 14:24

I slept in until 1230 today.

Ooops.

I dont mind as you automatically miss a meal.

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever · 09/09/2017 14:45

That's a good sleep! Grin

I just had veggie sausage and Mediterranean veg for lunch, going to a party tonight so that probably won't be so good.

NikiBarbie · 09/09/2017 16:25

I was up until 4am binge watching a new series on Netflix.

Oopsie!

BitOutOfPractice · 09/09/2017 16:38

I had a burrito for lunch. Not tooooo bad I don't think and it was so good!
