My LO is 10 weeks old and I'm back down to my booking in weight at 8 weeks pregnant. I'm pretty happy with that. Hopefully it'll continue to come off.

Wheresthattomoibabber · 05/08/2017 17:32

Well done Rae!

I did some batch cooking yesterday -
4 portions of ratatouille, 5 portions of Bolognese and 3 portions of beef stew.

Wheresthattomoibabber · 05/08/2017 19:51

Help. I want to eat all the things. I think it's boredom. I'm not really that hungry - have just allowed myself a piece of cheese and a handful of cashews but I could easily do half a loaf of bread.

ponygirlcurtis · 05/08/2017 19:57

Well done Rae and Wheres, I love a bit of batch cooking. If you are hungry what about some oatcakes and hummous?

NikiBabe · 05/08/2017 21:38

🥇Rae

I just chilled out today. Enough of the high impact I sat in the Jacuzzi and sauna and then did yoga in the afternoon.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 05/08/2017 23:55

I totally also want to eat all the food. And probably have today.

Tiger bread toast.
Cajun chicken salad with a yogurt
Some small duck spring rolls (healthier than a takeaway!)
Mars ice cream (more than one because I'm a piglet and can't be trusted!)
Baileys with ice.

Yesterday was much better! AND I did dance fit in the morning, walked a bit in the day and did clubbercise in the eve. (Then drank cider with friends).

Back to it properly tomorrow! I was doing so well before the school hols.....

NikiBabe · 05/08/2017 23:58

😮 Tiger bread toast! 😍

So hungry now!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 06/08/2017 00:36

I managed just cashews, cheese and 20g raisins. Went over calories for the day but not by much and I did go to the gym and then do 2 hours gardening (hoeing so fairly physical). I think I just hadn't eaten enough. Felt terrible before and much more human after - went to a weddjng and just had sparkling water. Will be interesting to see how I feel tomorrow.

ponygirlcurtis · 06/08/2017 18:39

Happy Sunday everyone. Grin Busy day on my feet - mowing the lawn and ironing for hours. At least I haven't had time to nibble! Scales did that thing this morning where they flicked up through two or three lower pounds before settling on the weight I have been all week so I am hoping that means I might see a dip soon.

Hope you are all having good days.

Morning all! Hope you have all had a good weekend.

Koko Hope you are enjoying your holiday!

I am weighing in at 6lbs over my lowest weight Shock though it's not surprising after a disastrous week last week. On Thursday I went out for drinks with some colleagues, ended up staying out until 3am and then got up at 6:30am for a staff training day Envy I felt so awful I ended up eating everything I could lay my hands on (including an entire takeaway pizza).

Anyway, fresh start today! Planning a day at about 1200 calories and a bodypump class later.

HairsprayBabe · 07/08/2017 08:53

Just popping in to say hello, weather has been lush, have been enjoying food and many many cocktails lots of walking so I am sure it has all evened out HmmGrin

Hope you are all well!

QuimReaper · 07/08/2017 13:19

Hello all! Happy holidays koko and Hairspray you lucky beasts, the weather's ghastly here!

I ate everything I saw this weekend, but after my 2 weeks' hard work, I managed to wear two dresses which I hadn't been able to wear for ages, so I was very happy Grin I don't anticipate this week being particularly golden but I should manage 3 golden days at least.

poorpaws · 07/08/2017 22:12

Having a very bad time, eating constantly and will probably gain all the weight I've lost so far ☹️. MUST pull myself together very soon. Not going to WW this week as the gain will be embarrassingly high.

Well done everyone, I hope to join you all when I get my act together.

ponygirlcurtis · 07/08/2017 23:16

Just focus on enjoying your holiday keepon, that's the important thing. Smile Hope you are enjoying yours too Hairspray, sounds like you are!

Did you get to Bodypump Spuriouser? Is it as brutal as I've heard it is? Shock

You have smashed August already Quim. You worked so hard and it paid off. Stay gold, as it were.

Draw a line poorpaws. What will help you get your mojo back do you think? I find reading lots of stuff to do with eating/exercising actually helps me, like this thread and other weightloss threads on here and other blogs.

QuimReaper · 08/08/2017 08:42

pony I was sort of counting that as July even though it leaked into August, might have to split the difference so I can claim both Grin

paws have you been back to WW at all yet? I do think it would help you get your focus back if you can grit your teeth and do it - you might feel embarrassed but I can guarantee not one person will be judging you, and every single one of them will have lost sight of the wagon at some point, probably at several points.

Oops, posted (way!) too soon!

Was trying to say that everyone falls off the wagon sometimes Poorpaws, when the time is right you just need to climb back on. You don't have to share them here, but maybe working out what your "triggers" to overeat are would help? It has definitely helped me.

Pony yes I did make it to BodyPump! I think it was my first midweek class in a couple of months. I don't know about brutal, but I like that you work all of the muscle groups, you really feel like you have worked hard afterwards.

Quim that's great! Definitely a NSV to be proud of!

ponygirlcurtis · 08/08/2017 21:59

Spuriouser I did a half hour 'legs Bums and Tums' class recently and I was gubbed by it - had to go up and down stairs sideways for about 3 days after it! Don't think I am fit enough for bodypump yet. 😊

Squiffy01 · 09/08/2017 07:44

Loads of you are doing so well! It isn't inspiring like it normally does just getting me down as I'm failing so spectacularly.
You're all right (as usual) I need to get back to WW! I'm not going to be able to back into any form of control until I've admitted I'm completely off track and face the gain in RL and not just here. It will be at least a 7lb gain and I'm so mortified for leader to see it and write it down but it has to be done. And hopefully I will then have a super perfect week next week and lose loads.
Everything just seems to be so overwhelming at the moment. Every decision i need to make just seems so huge.
Hope you are all well. Sorry I'm not doing personal messages I'm struggling to keep up with everyone and remembering who said what once I do to finally post Blush memory of a gold fish.

ponygirlcurtis · 09/08/2017 09:19

I ain't doing well Squiffy. Sad My weight is still bouncing - I can see up to a 3/4lb increase/decrease some days which is both confusing and hard to understand (not to mention dispiriting when it's of the increase variety). I am floundering a bit and can't seem to find my groove.

I have 6 days till the holidays are over and I am back at work. I think what I need to do is meal plan out for the next week, planning in fast days and setting exercise goals.
Quim when you had your golden streak was it all planned out, what daily calories did you aim for?

QuimReaper · 09/08/2017 12:14

pony I didn't really have a specific calorie aim so much as just stuck to my usual tricks: for example, sustaining myself on tea / coffee throughout the morning, then having a couple of hard boiled eggs, then making a big kale, carrot and spinach smoothie and taking it off with me for a long walk (this is a great tip, as I find that I can just have a few mouthfuls and it staves off the hunger for a good twenty minutes, so it can keep you going for ages); then having a predominantly veg-based meal if eating in the evening, then chugging tonic water. This is a cross between a Fast Day (500) and a Golden Day (

QuimReaper · 09/08/2017 12:14

After the first few days I wasn't too strict with myself though - I did eat something when I felt hungry, I just made sure it wasn't anything carby or too calorific (but there were a few sessions of cheese abuse!)

QuimReaper · 09/08/2017 12:15

I did an intensive hair treatment yesterday so didn't leave the house, and we're having a rainpocalypse today so I'm practically giving up on my step count this week!

BitOutOfPractice · 09/08/2017 12:33

Hello all! I am still here. Had a disastrous Sunday and Monday. Partly due to my naughty BF who made this. It's Nadiya Hussain's crispy chocolate tart. The crust is made of crisps. It's got 600 calories a slice! But omg it's sooooo good.
