But hairspray i started at 11.4 in January. Now 10.3. Just barely a stone since I started.

I realised why i have body issues. My mum visibly looked horrified when i told her my weight of 10.3. She said god that is too much and that is after dieting she says.....alrighty

I have always been the fat one in the family. Being the butt of remarks and cruelty from them both most notably my sister about my weight and body. Ive been told im fat and disgusting and have cellulite riddled thighs by my sister before.

Ive realised im not fat. Just that my.sister and mum have eating disorders and competitively starve and compete with each other.

HairsprayBabe · 19/07/2017 13:05

I wish I didn't bounce back up so much at the weekend, it seems pointless being so good in the week and then just gorging at the weekend I think I need to work on a "one treat a day" method for weekends, that one treat might be coffee and a cake or a few (max 3) cocktails of an evening rather than just having Friday roll round and just eating constantly.

I never used to eat like that before I dieted, I gained weight over a really slow period of time, 6 years or so just due to overly big portions and too much sugar. I think dieting has turned me into a bit of a binger and I need to pack it in asap.

NikiBabe · 19/07/2017 13:24

I dont bounce back up by huge amounts. Maybe 1-2lbs. I had to start cycling everywhere from about early May as I cant really afford bus fares but although it's out of necessity, it's adding to the exercise quota.

I do actually pick sweet things quite alot. I will let myself have some chocolate if I want it, I was a bad girl last week and had a burger king burger (no chips lol) but then I just tell myself to watch it for the rest of the day.

I dont think I could be good all week as like you say I would just go wild at weekends. Maybe try having a little bit of what you fancy every day instead, I do that.

Dont get me started on cocktails. When I go back to work I am dreading drinks out!

NikiBabe · 19/07/2017 16:34

A little giggle for today!

QuimReaper · 19/07/2017 16:45

I wonder that too Hairspray. I sometimes these days struggle to separate whether I want something or am just exhilarated by being allowed it Confused

lastqueenofscotland · 19/07/2017 17:45

Not a golden day after someone bought in some delicious home baking but not a disaster and for once I logged it all and didnt just go FUCK IT and carry on all day.
I'm off work tomorrow and going for a long marathon training run so I'm calling it carb loading...

QuimReaper · 19/07/2017 20:24

queenie I must've missed that you're marathon training, when is that? Definitely carb loading!

Been very golden today - a bit under 14K steps so far and have mega-fasted Halo

poorpaws · 19/07/2017 22:06

9st 12.5 at Weight Watchers tonight, just half a pound to go and I'm done.

Niki I open things soon turn round for you, keep strong.

QuimReaper · 19/07/2017 22:24

Ooooh paws so close! Will you stick around for maintenance?

HairsprayBabe · 20/07/2017 08:09

Morning all
10.8 this Morning, so nearly back to where I was last Friday, still +3 for the month though so fingers crust I can slew off a few more lbs in the last week before we go.

Even with Cardiff in the mix, going sunday morning at about 10ish, so won't arrive till gone one, I have travel sickness so won't eat till we arrive, so there should not be much damage done on that day.

Monday & Tuesday full days, not sure what the plan is but I will try to stick to the "one treat a day" mantra and only eating at meal times, in theory I wont be able to snack constantly as food will be from restaurants etc.

Wednesday, leaving at about 11 again won't be eating till we get back due to travel sickness so hopefully damage will be minimal!

TVHubbyClaire · 20/07/2017 08:41

No weight change this morning. DW going out with friend this weekend so I will aim for low or zero alcohol and overall golden behaviour. Who knows I might just shift one or two of these seemingly immovable lindas
As far as I know DW is not on a specific named diet. She meets a nutritionist/diet lady once a week and follows a set plan based on daily carbs, protein ,fruit, veg etc and writes everything down in a food journal.
She finds the weekly meeting a good motivation
Of course I get all the motivation I need in another way with the help of you slenderistas Smile

SoapyChoc · 20/07/2017 09:22

Morning all,
97.2kg this morning 1kg to go in a week and feeling much more positive. Just got to try and avoid the ice cream bike at the wedding I am going to at the weekend. Agree with Niki a little bit of what I fancy each day seems to keep me on the straight and narrow mostly. Well done paws you are tantalisingly close.

lastqueenofscotland · 20/07/2017 09:52

Are you going to Cardiff this weekend hairspray?

143 this morning so another Linda gone which is a relief.
Hopeful I'll be back in the 9s by the end of the month

HairsprayBabe · 20/07/2017 11:01

We are going Sunday morning to Wednesday morning.

I am annoyed I didn't pay attention to what I was eating this weekend, I feel like I have undone 2 months hard work.

I will be being golden on Friday and Saturday to make up for the extra "weekend" days next week

QuimReaper · 20/07/2017 11:15

Hairspray it wasn't 2 months hard work undone, just a wee bit of water retention - you've already undone the worst of it haven't you! Look at it this way, if you were a weekly weigher coming in tomorrow, you'd be reporting a pesky STS and you'd never know how much you'd bounced Grin (This by the way is precisely why I am not a daily weigher - I don't think my blood pressure could cope!)

HairsprayBabe · 20/07/2017 11:28

Iknow I know Quimmy

I am too impatient to only weigh once a week,

I skipped weighing on Saturday morning this week and I didn't like it one bit!

Hairspray I have to weigh daily or I just don't bother. I need the discipline of the scales!

18 miles run today. I am spent.

HairsprayBabe · 20/07/2017 13:50

That is amazing lasty! Seriously I am in awe!

lastqueenofscotland · 20/07/2017 14:32

Hairspray currently I am not in awe just agony. I feel I have earned a can of my Achilles heel- full fat Coke!!

NikiBabe · 20/07/2017 19:12

Omg lasty 18 miles. I wish I could distance run but I just cant run Sad

Although Ive lost a stone which is good, what does one do about appearance? I still have a dumpy arse and thighs covered in cellulite. Its making me think its pointless if it still looks like that

lastqueenofscotland · 20/07/2017 20:29

Niki I've run since I was wee, I was a very very good 800m runner in my teens and while at uni was in the fastest 4% in the country over 5k... I was obviously wirey and thin back then Hmm

NikiBabe · 20/07/2017 22:04

Aw lasty running 18 miles os still an amazing achievement. Id collapse.

I was always better at balance / flexibility and good at yoga but aerobic activity was never my strong point.

poorpaws · 20/07/2017 22:07

Quim yes I'll definitely be staying to classes when I've reached my target. I've been trying to get back into the 9s for so many years and in a very short time of going back to Weight Watchers meetings I find I'm suddenly in the 9s. I need the discipline of Wednesday weighin and not letting myself down. I'm not sure how I'll maintain though because when I lost three stones back in 2012 I found maintaining just too difficult. Are you still with Weight Watchers?

It's getting very near to the weekend now so I hope everyone has a very good one and keeps on track. I've been out for a meal today and eaten far too much so I must get back on it tomorrow to avoid a gain next week.

lastqueenofscotland · 21/07/2017 07:09

142 this morning so it's chipping off slowly... ignoring that I was 141 this time last week Blush

Hoping for a good day today and then I'm working all week so won't really have the chance to overeat!
