If you are in need of a spot of motivation this morning try this website it is amazing

www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/calculators/weight-loss-percentage/ lets you calculate your overall % loss in kg st or lbs

I just worked out that even though I am only down 1lb this month so far I have in total lost 4st5 or 61lbs and 28.64% of my starting weight!

We are all doing so well so don't worry if this month has been tough, keep at it because we all know eventually it will work!

Flowers for everyone!

TVHubbyClaire · 13/04/2017 09:08

hairspray - those are very impressive numbers

12st 10 yesterday and I was quite positive........cue a crap day at work and DS at sleepover at grandparents and DW and I are in our local.............and its three pints and two glasses of wine with dinner (which was at 9.30pm) so a hopeless end and 12st 12 1/2 today....dam!

beforeihit30 · 13/04/2017 09:20

Spurioser No, that's a couple of years away, but basically I want to lose this weight by the time I'm 30. Which seems like ages to do it but I've been shifting these pounds since 2011!

(Ive had a couple of children since then which derailed progress slightly, not just really lazy Grin)

Thank you all. Think we'll head to the park today. Have been sticking within my 1500 limit (under 1400 yesterday) so moving in the right direction.

Congrats Pebbles! And good link too Hairspray (and impressive loss)

Good effort KOKO Lets keep up morale round here or we'll lose our title of "The Best Thread On Mumsnet" [TM]

Stellar67 · 13/04/2017 11:57

Love it koko.

I'm going out to eat later and choosing wisely. I'm having a naked burger. Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 13/04/2017 12:37

You're right. Let's not get disheartened. We are all heading in approximately the right direction.

I logged into that app hairspray linked. I have lost over a quarter of my body weight. That's worth celebrating Grin

I'm on my way to a meeting. I have a healthy salad and prawns for lunch and chicken satay for dinner marinating at home.

Come on slenderistas

HairsprayBabe · 14/04/2017 08:10

Morning happy bank holiday all Smile

10.10 this morning! Shock
That is -3 for the month so far and -8lbs from my month high of 11.4 but I expect that was mainly water retention and bloating!

Fx my feast tonight won't ruin that loss! Xo

lastqueenofscotland · 14/04/2017 08:30

9 st 13 this morning Shock I can't believe it.

2 off for the month overall.

beforeihit30 · 14/04/2017 08:33

Morning! Great results.

I was celebrating a new business win last night. The kids chose a carvery. God it was lush. Of course I stuck to turkey and veg and cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes

Having said that in my lowest ever on my home scales this morning Grin

I've been on the scales at the gym. Blush it's printed. It's there. Its embarrassing.

My friend and I have a jar where we weigh in once a week and it's £5. Once we've filled it we are having a non food treat.

I'm in the mood now. I think before today I've been playing at it. I also want to fit into naice summer clothes.

Off to the in laws for Easter. I usually drown in wine to get through but I'll just bring my headphones Grin

Happy Easter.

beforeihit30 · 14/04/2017 19:23

Great progress all!

Down 1.4lb (woo!). I think a lot of it's bloat but it's all good! Making more sensible choices when out as well which is good, DH and I both feeling better. It's been extra stressful lately so we've been eating rubbish Blush so feeling better generally by eating better.

Squiffy01 · 14/04/2017 21:27

Just checking in.
Still can't find my wagon Sad
I'm so down about it and just can't pick myself up again.

Hope you are all having a fab start to the Easter weekend.

MountainDweller · 14/04/2017 23:21

Greetings Slenderistas!

Don't know what's going on

Was away last weekend, visiting in-laws. Ate rather strangely (and replaced two evening meals with cake, due to being at airports and not being able to find anything else GF) but stayed within my calorie goal every day. Came back and weighed and had lost 0.5 kg. Did a happy dance and ate a little chocolate. Two days later the half kilo is back. Very grumpy now. I guess maybe I was dehydrated from the flying and generally not drinking enough (South west water tastes v chlorine-y to me after living out of UK for 15 years).

Oh well, must try harder.

I actually increased my mfp calories by changing my activity level from sedentary to lightly active. I think it is better for me as I was logging exercise and finding it hard not to eat it back. So I would end up with 1850 one day and eat them all, the 1440 the next and feel really deprived. This way I have slightly more calories each day (1650) but more evenly spread over the week. My weekly average has gone down. This is good, right? I definitely lost a bit more the first week, am just thrown by the bizarre happenings above.

Sorry for waffle Blush

Stellar67 · 15/04/2017 00:17

Come on Squiff. It's nearly new on my wagon so we need to wear it in. No crisps allowed Wink

You've been in the air mountain. The scales will adjust soon.

We've got an Easter egg hunt tomo. And Sunday. Good job I don't eat rubbish chocolate. DH came home with creme eggs, untouched, because I don't like them and he got huffy about it. Hmm

Stellar67 · 15/04/2017 00:20

In fact, while I'm on my midnight rant box. DH often gets huffy when I'm being golden. I've just realised he's a saboteur isn't he?

HairsprayBabe · 15/04/2017 08:39

11.1 bollocks Blush

Didn't think I ate that much last night, couldnt eat my pudding or finish my main and I realised it was because I gorged on bread with the starter.... hopefully it is water retention and a good day today will see most of it off.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 15/04/2017 09:08

I weighed in this morning and I have lost almost 3lbs of the 5ish lbs I gained last month. Now all I have to do is not gain it all back over the long weekend Grin

Come on Squiffy, everyone on this thread has fallen off the wagon at one point or another. Be kind to yourself Flowers

Mountain that sounds like a good plan. Are you then just not going to log your exercise calories?

FreeNiki · 15/04/2017 10:48

I seem to be stuck where I am :(
