NutButterNutter · 27/03/2017 20:46

Balonder · 27/03/2017 20:46

Good work on the fitbit dollface, hope you get your steps in. I am at 13600, though I think that's it for the day! A good start to the week.

poorpaws · 27/03/2017 20:49

Oh yes Jump I can definitely see a difference. Keep up the good work.

spongebob5 · 27/03/2017 20:51

Glenthebattleostrich happy to be your running buddy but epic fail this morning, woke stupidly early worrying about the alarm clock before work, then when the alarm went off struggled to get out of bed cos I was so tired :(

I'm off work tomorrow so will do day 1 week 1 then. Diet has been good today though, ready brek, skimmed milk & defrosted berries for breakfast, tin of minestrone soup & crackers for lunch & goats cheese & onion quiche, salad & jacket potato for tea oh & a clementine!

Jumpolining · 27/03/2017 20:59

My LO said (after I was moaning how hungry I was and how I was going to eat everything insight and ruin my diet day 1 AGAIN), "Well it already looks smaller!" "Et, than it does normally..." then he realised what he said and said "You can do ANYTHING you want to mummy, as long as you try your best."

So I'm still here...

Jumpolining · 27/03/2017 21:01

(He was talking about my tummy)

phoenixtherabbit · 27/03/2017 21:17

Day 1 - done. 1489 calories and I even managed to fit a chocolate ice cream in there. Id call that a success.

Have planned what I'm going to eat tomorrow too, so hopefully I can stay under again. First day back at work since being poorly as well.

DejaVuDieter · 27/03/2017 21:41

All gone well today. I've tracked using My Fitness Pal and was under my calorie goal (1600). I also went for a run. I've prepped tomorrow's breakfast but then it'll be hard to calorie count as a colleague is leaving and we are going for cake at lunch then out for tea. Will do my best to make good choices. My weight this morning was 15st2lbs. Seriously have only been this heavy when pregnant.

DejaVuDieter · 27/03/2017 21:45

Also is anyone else on MFP and want to be friends? Or on Strava?

glenthebattleostrich · 27/03/2017 21:46

If it helps sponge, i went for a little walk today instead of running! Tomorrow it is. I'll be doing it in the evening. I'm already up at 5:30 so no way I'm draging my bum out of bed any earlier!

Jumpolining · 27/03/2017 22:13

And thank you all for the positivity!

Jumpolining · 27/03/2017 22:48

Me again! Anyone have a Fitbit? I had a flex but wasn't impressed. Sold it on. I've been looking at the Charge (?) and Alta- least they tell the time! I've bought The Method book (arriving tomorrow) and it seems I might need to invest again. Thoughts? Cheers.

Balonder · 27/03/2017 23:00

Jumpolinimg I have the charge hr. I really rate it though haven't had a tracker like it before. It's the only one I have tried but I am very happy with it. Happy to answer any questions if I can

NutButterNutter · 27/03/2017 23:41

Deja I am on mfp - how do I PM you my name on it??

Dollface7 · 28/03/2017 00:00

well done everyone today!! Such a brilliant start...and all the ideas and peoples plans I think give some inspiration. Go jumpilining-you did it!!! I have the alts-its really natty and handy, tells the time, takes steps, calories, alarm and tells you when you're phone is ringing as it vibrates and text messages pop up, not so intrusive as to be annoying...I know the other ones have heart rate monitor and maybe GPS...i found reading all the reviews and comparing brands helped make my choice... it wasn't unreasonable price and the battery is excellent. :-)

Steala....thank you for the inspiration too!! my gosh...its SO hard being away and in a different environment...it is usually enough to say ahh i will do it when i get back so a HUGE well done for resisting..but also for getting through the hunger pangs.... we have people who have had fluffy baths, painted nails and carrot eating with hummus to avoid chocolate...what ever works people and to keep going no matter what.... we will all feel even a little better in a few days and think we are magically finished but we have to push through... minute to minute if necessary.... planning is key as we all know so very well done to people where there was little or no time and didn't manage to plan but still had a healthy day!! go us.... DAY 2 challenge now.........

Good luck to everyone today. We are supposed to have rain all day today so will be more difficult to be out and about. I might have to clean 😱 To make my steps target 🤥
