Well this morning I weighed 13st 6lbs.
I have been pretty good so far but that might be because I haven't had time to snack been so busy this morning.
DH is working away for a few days as well so evening snacking is going to be hard to kick I will have a long soak in the bath tonight instead...nothing like floating in the bath to remind myself how much weight I need to lose Grin

pinkieandperkie · 27/03/2017 15:26

AnitherYellowBelly. I am 5'4 and like you once I get under the ten stone mark I start to feel slim. I've been good so far today as I haven't eaten anything but that's because I've been busy. My problems start when I sit down in the evening. Tonight I am planning a soak in the bath with a new face pack.

NewPuppyMum · 27/03/2017 15:27

I've had the same for breakfast. As lunch. - salad wrap. Having sausage casserole for tea but had bought the stuff beforehand so don't want to waste it. I'll have one sausage instead of 2-3 and lots of vegetables on the side as well as in the casserole. No alcohol tonight or this week. I don't drink much but I had started to drink to block out emotional pain but it's not the answer which is bad but I'm planning to up my water intake. Good luck everyone.

Dontfearthesleeper · 27/03/2017 15:49

Well done on the first steps everyone! The first step is always the hardest! I've drunk loads of water, snacking on tangerines and had some spicy soup for lunch. Planning a nice quorn chicken casserole for dinner and will attempt to be organised and make an egg salad for lunch tomorrow -The sunshine definitely helps!!

AnotherYellowBelly · 27/03/2017 15:54

pinkie good idea ! I'm the same I'm ok all day until after the school run when I struggle not too snack! I don't eat tea until about 7 so it's a tough few hours. I got into a habit of chocolates in front of the tv in the evening, I've got some hot chocolate for 50cals a cup I'm desperate!

monkeyfacegrace · 27/03/2017 16:12

I've been out and bought a sack of whey protein

Mixed with 100ml full fat milk and 100ml crushed ice, in the blender. 165 calories.

That's all I've had today, and did a half hour dog walk with toddler on my back, so that burnt 125 cals.

I have home made mixed veg soup for dinner, and then I'll have another shake when I get the munchies around 9pm.

Should end the day on about 900 cal.

Balonder · 27/03/2017 16:12

Sounds good everyone. I am just in from work which is my picky time. I am usually fine leaving work then ravenous when I get home. Having a kale, cucumber, berry, celery, lemon smoothie with Greek yoghurt for protein and fat, we'll see if it stops the munchies. Bolognaise with courgetti for dinner. Over 7000 steps so far so not too much further to go

gruntley123 · 27/03/2017 16:33

I'm in. Joining SW tomorrow, I need to lose around 4 stone.

danTDM · 27/03/2017 16:33

Ugg, hello everyone. Feel sick today after those 2 G&T's last night. There is a reason they say you can't drink on low carb!

Today
FF yog
Pan fried salmon steak and asparagus
2 litres of h2o
coffee w cream

I really am not hungry. But I must eat something later to keep the magic happening! All I want is a lovely piece of toast. Not allowed. Sad

Dollface7 · 27/03/2017 17:36

Pinkieandperkie, newpuppymum, and gruntley123 WELCOME. Everyone is on target-a huge well done-also seeing the interesting menu/meal ideas.... those 2 G&ts are well gone danTDM...toast would be lovely...i'd like it too....but stay away from the toast... So we are heading to the crunch time it appears-evening for everyone-2 people are having bath time-anyone else I hope you find a distraction... think of the sun and the anticipation of wearing whatever you want in it, in the not so distant future....meanwhile log on...and keep motivated!!

Hello to exhaustedtwinmummy, badhotfanny, MowPointCOwsOpinion, Bottlesoflove,DejavuDiete, phoenixtherabbit and shutty town. Bottlesoflove have you a plan you are following?

OP posts:
Dollface7 · 27/03/2017 17:52

I think the fitbit is very good-its making me get up and move altho i'm nowhere near the 17,000 steps....i think there are cheaper versions of the same thing on line-but you would need to do a bit of research....mine was on offer-some of older models are also on offer-it shows short text messages and has an alarm which is handy.... it doesn't have the heart rate monitor which you may want-the more expensive fitbits do....it can monitor sleep pattern too...if that's of use. Balonder knows loads about them (heehee)

Fast day today, going well so far.

I really really REALLY want it to work. I need to remember that when there's cake around.

NutButterNutter · 27/03/2017 19:14

Ok, so far so good - met friend, resisted cake woohoo! I just have to get through the evening without a cupboard raidCakeCakeCakeCake BiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitHmm

exhaustedtwinmummy · 27/03/2017 19:19

So, weighed in this morning and have my starting point, which is only a couple of pounds over what I thought! Am calorie counting and so far so good. Slight issue that evening snacking is my worst habit so that'll be my biggest challenge of the day. Saved myself 100 calories so will see how I go.

walruswhiskers · 27/03/2017 19:33

Stressful day today. I'm a teacher and we had the call at school to say ofsted are in tomorrow. So lots of dashing about organising lessons, paperwork etc. Am exhausted now. But stayed on plan so that's one day down. Hope everyone else is feeling positive.

goodpiemissedthechips · 27/03/2017 19:52

V proud of myself today, DP misjudged the portions at dinner and there wasn't really enough for us (especially considering I didn't eat enough during the day for various reasons to do with bad planning!). After tea DP went to the shop and asked me if I wanted anything, I asked for some carrots to have with the hummus I bought earlier. Have just snacked on heaps of carrot sticks and hummus which filled me up nicely, rather than eating crisps or unhealthy snacks.

Overall it feels like a very good start, I've eaten plenty of fruit and veg, minimal dairy and wheat. I know from experience that if I keep it up, I'll be feeling much more energetic within a week or two.

poorpaws · 27/03/2017 19:52

Well done to everyone, so far so good.

It's getting very close to my picky time and I am feeling the strain right now. Just got out of a long hot bath and now I would like to eat but I certainly am not allowing myself very much.

I could well be the winner of the steps taken today, I've done over 18,000! A three hour dog walk and bringing buckets of sand up my steps (don't ask) have given me a good steps total.

Hope everyone is on track and looking forward to Day Two.

pinkieandperkie · 27/03/2017 20:14

I hope everyone is doing ok. I really want chocolate but instead I have painted my toe nails and finger nails. My plan was to have a bath and slap on a face mask but I don't want to ruin my paint job so that can be something for tomorrow night. I'm feeling sorry for myself because I can't have chocolate but on the plus side, day one is nearly over. Would it be so wrong to go to bed at 8.15.

Steala · 27/03/2017 20:24

Lots of positivity on this thread -especially from you, dollface, thank you so much for the thread.

So far (because the night is young and there is plenty of time to undo all my hard work) I have had quite a good day. I was in a conference today and tomorrow, miles from anywhere, so restricted to the food they provided, rather than the constant grazing I manage in the office. Lunch was sandwiches, which isn't the best, but the biscuits were custard cream type, which I can resist, as opposed to chocolate-covered ones (which I can't). I was very hungry mid-afternoon but there was nothing I could do about it and it passed. I think two days (wish it were more now) of enforced restricted portions will be good to start to fix my "I feel a tiny bit hungry so must eat" response.

Jumpolining · 27/03/2017 20:26

Am I slim yet?

Dontfearthesleeper · 27/03/2017 20:34

Lol jumpolining i hope so!! I think my skirt might fit better already! I'm going to do some starjumps before Broadchurch then early night for me.
