How is everyone doing?

Yesterday wasn't too bad considering baby had been awake most of the night so I was exhausted.
Food consumed yesterday:
Weetabix with honey, cup of tea
Slice of toast with 2 poached eggs
Grapes/yoghurt
Nuts
Chicken, leek and parsley pie with broccoli, green beans and carrots
One caramel biscuit and Cadbury caramel egg fir treat.
Went for a walk and spent the morning with baby in sling doing housework and jigging around.

Good luck for today everyone Smile

Longji · 28/03/2017 11:09

I didn't cheat yesterday! This is a revelation, I always, always cheat because I have no willpower. I know it's only been a day but honestly it never happens Smile

Had my scrambled egg this morning again, am in work today and didn't prepare any lunch so will need to pop out to get something so hopefully I can stay strong!

Titsywoo · 28/03/2017 12:35

Well I didn't end up starting yesterday because I was ill. Today however I'm doing ok. Weighed in at 14st 1.5 and have eaten fish pie (which has a curry type sauce and is topped with carrots instead of potato) with broccoli for lunch. Still not feeling well enough to exercise though.

NewPuppyMum · 28/03/2017 13:04

I was feeling positive this morning but not so much now. Walked the dog for only about three quarters of an hour this morning and came back hungry so had brunch of left over lamb and five veg casserole and a bit of mash. Then did fifty nine minutes on the Wii. Hardly burnt off any calories. Tired. Rubbish at exercise. Feeling very low anyway. Just don't know what to do, what to eat, etc 😭 I can't deny I'm fat anymore. Wii says I'm obese.

Msqueen33 · 28/03/2017 14:22

Yesterday not so great but feeling more positive although I did sneak a couple of chocolate buttons and a few mini eggs which obviously isn't so good but keeping focussed. Small goal is shifting some over the next three weeks. The thought of 4 stone is scary but being overweight for summer even more so. I hate that I have such issues with food. My husband eats rubbish but is slimmer than me which is frustrating.

Dontfearthesleeper · 28/03/2017 15:42

Another day through for me :) yogurt and walnuts for brekkie again and last night's leftovers for lunch. Snacking on fruit and lots of water.
I treated myself to an iced mocha for 150 calories :) I am monitoring my steps and it's poor! I'm commuting just now and sitting a lot so only mamaged 8K yesterday in total. Disappointing! Hope everyone's day is going well

NewPuppyMum · 28/03/2017 17:11

Can anyone recommend an app for the iPhone to count steps as I haven't found one that is accurate yet.

danTDM · 28/03/2017 17:47

God this low carb is getting boring! One week today.
plodding on , my stomach definitely looks less round and fat.

FFgreek yog
courgettini with tomatoes and garlic
mozerella, avocado, tomato salad
handful almonds

might have a bit of left over chilli later although it's not the same without rice. Sad

I am doing this for one week more, max. After that I'll allow myself lentils, fruit etc. Think I need to loose another stone to look really good in my bikini. (and not look 4 months pregnant) It's just my stomach that is the BIG problem.

exhaustedtwinmummy · 28/03/2017 19:13

Not quite so virtuous today Blush Amazing cake at work for someone's birthday...shop bought I'd have avoided but the home made lemon drizzle got me unfortunately. Good otherwise though so tomorrow is a new day and all that!!

danTDM · 28/03/2017 19:24

OMG lemon drizzle. I tell you, if you put that infront of me now, or toast, there is NO WAY I could resist.

I may crack and have a bit of toast later...

Balonder · 28/03/2017 20:40

How is everyone getting on today? Day 2 has been fine here.
Apple Bircher for breakfast
Pear and 12 almonds snack
Sourdough with chicken sandwich for lunch (quite small)
Green smoothie work
Big salad for dinner with hardboiled egg. Feeing good for resisting the biscuit tin and went for a 3k run when DH got home. Feels like plenty of food and I got my 10 a day in. Keeping it up will be the killer!

danTDM · 28/03/2017 21:00

Well done Balonder Brilliant.

spongebob5 · 28/03/2017 21:01

I failed to start c25k again today Blush just can't motivate myself . But stuck to mfp calorie counting breakfast was special k with skimmed milk & raspberries, lunch was a quorn chicken style thing with a Thai sauce and rice and tea was a vegetable pasta bake with salad, snacked on melon & crackers. Hopefully will lose a lb this week

phoenixtherabbit · 28/03/2017 21:47

Well it's day two and I'm over my calories. Not by much though so not that bothered.

Am a size down in clothes from when I started so I'm happy.

Thinking about starting the 30 day squat challenge.

Steala · 28/03/2017 22:07

Checking in. Things are fine so far. I was over on MFP yesterday but under today. Despite going over yesterday, it felt like a very very small amount of food, which I suppose shows why I am overweight.

I'm a teeny bit bored already after two days so am glad you're such a friendly bunch on this thread to keep me motivated.

Jumpolining · 28/03/2017 22:14

I'm still here! # waves #

The Louise Parker (?) book arrived today. I've not really got into the food/exercise bit yet. But loving all the psychology in it. So far so good.

poorpaws · 28/03/2017 22:15

Lots of steps ✅
Healthy food✅
Hot bath✅
Early to bed ✅

Got to do well this week as next week i have two meals out (very unusual and planned before this thread) and keeping to plan will be a nightmare.

So to keep us all positive what are you hoping to lose this week (within reason of course)?

I'd be very happy with 3 lbs.

Longji · 28/03/2017 22:32

Day 2 a success here! My lunch was disappointing but my dinner was fab, Cajun chicken, stuffed peppers with cheese and bacon and creamed spinach. I hope I'm getting this low carb thing right because I'm actually enjoying it which is a surprise to me!
Nearly cried earlier when I made my daughter crumpets mind, I would have killed for a bite!

DejaVuDieter · 28/03/2017 22:41

Not too bad today. I had cake for lunch but it was a planned thing I couldn't get out of. I've counted it in my calories and still under for the day. No exercise today but will aim to get to gym or do home HIIT tomorrow. Night all!

Jumpolining · 28/03/2017 22:53

Nighty night!

Dollface7 · 29/03/2017 00:05

Dontfearthesleeper · 29/03/2017 06:08

Day 3! Nearly half way through first week :) Ive a busy day so will have to watch myself and a leaving do with lots of cakes on offer this morning! Need to plan dinner then I'll be fine. MFP is my friend just now ! Religiously logging everything! Well done everyone for sticking at it :)

NewPuppyMum · 29/03/2017 07:32

I weighed myself. Lost a pound ShockGrin. Not sure how.
Ate casserole with five veg and mash, one chocolate, five crisps, sausage and mash, cauliflower cheese and swede. Did 59 minutes on the Wii, steps and running and lots of housework, cleaning windows, ironing, wiping down paintwork, bathrooms, etc so today I'll walk the dog and carry on with the cleaning. Can't eat yet as feel like I'll be sick again.

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan · 29/03/2017 07:45

Am I too late to join? I have 20lbs to lose to get to my pre-children weight which doesn't seem too bad until you realise that my children are actually 18 and 20!

I did lose a couple of stone last year but then put 8lbs back on and am finding it really difficult to shift. I try to eat fairly low-carb and that worked last year but doesn't seem to be this year. I really need to lose the weight.

mrszebrastripe · 29/03/2017 08:24

I've been lurking on this post and would love to join. I've been logging my food since Monday. I want to try 16:8 and reduce carbs. Also keeping the food diary to try to prevent the mindless 4pm snacking I tend to end up doing!
I need to loose at least a stone and a half. I am peri menopausal and find the weight harder and harder to shift. It will be great to know that I'm not doing this alone
