blackhills it is BIWI's (long term poster and diet guru) thread low carb. Go and have a look at the rules. If you follow them, you will lose weight and fast. Expect at least a stone in 4/5 weeks.

It's hard core though! NO CARBS, just from veggies. Protein and fat only. Very healthy actually, you have loads of energy after day 3.

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 20:46

Well JustSPeakSense....isn't it just the perfect timing for you to join... all the chubby arms will be less chubbier in june and july and all the other glorious hot months... not to mention at the summer weddings, the summer holidays.. the parties with the girls who are allergic to sweet things... the shopping days with the restaurant on the way home and you can order what you want...'cos its a treat day and you've lost loads of weight... the non scraping together legs.... no chaffing.....the i told you i could do it face... the "I'm healthy" feeling....

OP posts:
Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 20:48

I have to read blackhills Dan... thank you!! as my programme is protein only/protein shakes..so it sounds ideal... i have my 'old' weight loss card...where i was losing 2/3 kilos a week sometimes... onwards and downwards people!!!

I am going to eat oats every morning, take fruit for mid morning snack at work. Pack my own lunch for work (salad, soup or baked potato) and eat a healthy home cooked meal.

No crisps, biscuits or chocolate
No take aways
No buttery toast

Yes to long, brisk dog walks
Yes to 8 glasses of water a day

Have weighed myself tonight and will weigh again next Sunday night.

Good luck everyone x

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 20:49

DanDm....isn't it better than the wine? yes I hear you answer.... have you lost weight... yes i hear you answer.... thats a yes yes.....

OP posts:
Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 20:51

JustSpeakSense has announced the plan.. and the weigh in... i read wine for water... i need to stop that.... which is another point, loads of water for people...that should be taken into account too... i see dog walks.. anyone with the dogs...get them out... i have two.. they drag me about the place... its good for us.. and calming I think.....

Msqueen33 · 26/03/2017 20:57

Thanks Dollface7. Most of the biscuits are gone and we don't have many as two of my kids have coeliac so we don't keep a lot in. My skinny dh does buy chocolate on offer which doesn't help.

VLCD is a very low calories diet. Not hugely healthy but I think I need very quick results to keep me going. I know what I need to do I just need to do it and stop giving in because one of the kids have had a bad day and chocolate seems the answer. I'm following slim and save. Cheaper than Cambridge but no consultant.

goodpiemissedthechips · 26/03/2017 20:59

Marking place, I don't do 'diets' as such but I'm making a real effort to eat much more healthily and move more. Less processed food, more fresh fruit & veg, more long walks, more yoga and running. waves to all

Emmac50 · 26/03/2017 20:59

I want to join in too. I lost all my baby weight and another stone and now back to work I'm putting it back on. I'm going to start small and add a new thing each week. This I'm going to eliminate chocolate from my daily schedule and do the Paul McKenna I can make you slim track.

I have tried Herbalife and have found it works tremendously when doing serious exercise. I'm walking 12000 steps 5 times per week but that's not good enough

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 21:11

very good perfect Msqueen33... me too, my skinny other half...seems to get skinnier looking at a cake.. and eating it...i prove the theory correct every time...if i eat it, it comes to live with me for a long time (:-)). if VLCD works for you, then that's your plan...many think protein only doesn't work... it does for me..it always has done...i'm so bored of it... but it does work... its quick also...and it means backache will reduce..which is my main issue.... at the moment...along with all the others I hear everyone else say.... best of luck...not that you need it... DH to be warned to eat chocolate in car away from the house...keep it away from the house.....woman on a health mission .... be very afraid..be very afraid .....

Yes I'm ready. Found a bottle of Rolex champagne (!) that is being drunk and I'm emptying the biscuit tin.

Am going to keep to under 1200 cal tomorrow, and go and buy some protein shakes. If I blend them with crushed ice, frozen berries and skimmed milk, they are about 150 cals but will feel like a right treat. 2 a day I reckon will keep me going. I've thrown my scales in the skip mind, as weighing makes me anxious and depressed so I'm going by clothes size. Will weigh in 6 weeks ish when I KNOW it'll show a loss Grin

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 21:13

waves right back at ya goodpiemissedthechips!!....so, you are on a health plan.... our health plan to good health, physical, mental and in life.... i wanna do all the things you've just said too....!!!

Jumpolining · 26/03/2017 21:14

Oh it's Monday. I'll be trying (again) and failing (again) and giving up by Tuesday (again).

Where is this 'switch' that successful slimmers talk of? Why can't I find mine?

So for tomorrow, I'd like to join you if that's ok?

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 21:15
