Yes I have four stone to lose. I feel really huge and with summer on it's way I know I won't be able to live in baggy hoodies. Does anyone want to buddy up?

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:36

When would folk like to check in? I pledge to check every day(more than once!!) and make sure everyone gets an answer, or even made giggle, to help us on our way....

Can I jump in please? I want to lose some weight but DS is only a month old and I'm currently breastfeeding (slowly moving over to formula for personal reasons) so have to be mindful of that. I'm not doing anything drastic, just want to cut down on the junk and start taking baby out for walks. Im addicted to chocolate so need to cut down and I'm also going to stop buying junk during the food shop and increase my fruit/veg intake. Had some photos taken today and now feel deflated looking at them.

Start weight is 10st 4lbs.
Target is 9st.

Smallangryplanet · 26/03/2017 19:38

I'd like to join please. I'll start clean eating tomorrow. Will also try some HIIT like 30 Day Shred. If anyone can recommend a dvd I'd appreciate the help. Flowers

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:41

Of course crazypenguinlady!!! forget the photos...theyre irrelevant... think, i went online and found so many people feeling the same.. and they're starting too.... ok, one thing at a time... write down the things you want to achieve..your food shop etc. then start... we will not have everything done in one day... it seems you're going to reduce junk and increase exercise, fruit and veg.... and have said it here....so you've started !! yay!

Balonder-thats cool re veg/fruit... are you limiting which types or having your portions?

OP posts:
Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:42

dark chocolate can be good to limit chocolate intake (milk chocolate?-anyone else had that experience?

MrsDustyBusty · 26/03/2017 19:43

I think ballet beautiful is a good exercise programme. It's nice and accessible without being too easy. The woman who presents it is an elegant and gentle woman so you feel like you're becoming graceful while you do it.

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:43

Hi Smallangryplanet-BIG welcome!!!!:-)

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:45

If anyone is interested in uploading photos of meals to make us more accountable (hate that word too!!).... maybe that would help....

OP posts:
Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:47

Hey BrownChickenBrownCOw.... I like you're opening words... "deep breath".... I think we have all taken one.... but no more sighs.... yes of course we are all in it together... ok, you're similar to me (well you've less to loose...see you're ahead already-hahaha), what's your plan?

walruswhiskers · 26/03/2017 19:48

Louise Parker is a sort of low carb high protein but there are lots of fruit options and she offers you 3 meals plus 2 snacks a day. She talks about being in the inner circle which is a bit cheesy but makes sense - she aays post diet you should aim for inner circle 80%of the time. I've not been following since Xmas but have kept up with some of the principles and only gained a coup of lbs. the other big thing is exercise - her book has a load of exercises to do which made a huge difference to my body esp my legs and waist last time.

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:49

Balonder, just to say I started the steps thing, i got a fitbit...it really helps...although the day i did 15,000 steps I was really proud... until i realised it clocked up my driving distance... eh hmmmm and chuckle...

Dollface7 · 26/03/2017 19:50

Wow walrus, I think I will download... i'm seeing robert de niro and "circle of trust"....I'm thinking louise's circle sounds like it could work... only a few poounds since christmas? that is brilliant, seriously well done, as usual seeing what changes does for us....
