Hey everyone!
I need to shift some weight!!
I gave birth to my daughter just over seven months ago and I lost the baby weight! (Woo!!) but to be fair it wasn't too much.
Basically, I've gained 9/10lbs recently and finding it hard to get back into the "Zone" and stay focused.
I weighed myself yesterday and I'm 11.9lbs (then ate Pizza Hut and brownies so i probably went up to 11.10 Blush
I've told my OH to hide my scales so I don't obsess with weighting myself and give them to me every Friday morning!!
I've gone out today and bought some slim fast milk shakes , 8 bought some salad , breakfast bars and fruit... I've started today!!!!
My plan is to have a banana before nursery run.
Come home and have a slim fast shake for my breakfast, have a healthy lunch or a shake and dinner and inbetween just have fruit or nuts etc.
I'm going to be doing my nursery run each weekday and my stepper, also crunches and squats.
(DVD when I have the energy!!)
I'm just looking for support so I stay focused, I'm thinking updated my progress on here will help!!
Anyone else dieting after baby or just in general!- please share your story Smile

Oh dear, sounds like we're all in a similar boat! I'm shattered today, not been sleeping well. I'm going food shopping tomorrow after work so will stock up on healthy stuff. I need to get motivated exercise, haven't been swimming for ages and I've also dug out a DVD I've had for a while - I know it works I just need to find some motivation. What DVD did you get? I found a nice recipe for granola today so I might make that to for a nice breakfast.

I weighed myself this evening at the gym and I'm 11 stone 9lb. Bugger!

I've decided to rejoin weight watchers on Wednesday as I'm a gold member. When I get within 5lbs of my goal weight of 11 stone I don't have to pay. That usually motivates me......

So back to being good. Today I have stuck to my calories and did a body pump class at the gym.

Best of luck getting back on track.

Morning!
I'm 11.8lbs, had a shake this morning .. will exercise later, I don't feel like I have much motivation but I'd love to even be back to 11stone!
Good luck today! ❤️

It's really hard when actually that stone you want to lose will make no tangible difference to your life but you feel like you're missing out on so much to get there.

I've got 6 weeks now before we go abroad so am making that my motivation.

Porridge and banana for breakfast, prawns crabsticks and cherry tomatoes for lunch. Lots of herbal tea....

Bodybalance class this evening.

We can do this!

EllenAshSky1 · 21/02/2017 14:09

I'm starting tomorrow lol.
You're doing really well!!!
I've eaten everything in sight and some!!!!! I'm defiantly coming on (sorry for the TMI!) so I'm just an emotional eating machine.
I feel like today I'm going to get it out of my system and start a new tomorrow!!

So weighed in at lunchtime today at WW - 11stone 8lbs.

Have downloaded their AP and have 30 points a day and 35 a week. You can have unlimited fruit and veg.

My porridge and banana works out around 5 points I think. I had a ready meal from the co-op for lunch as I was starving and that was 8 points. So I have 17 left for tea.

Plus I can snack on as much fruit and veg as I like.

I'll keep you posted......

EllenAshSky1 · 22/02/2017 14:23

That sounds really good!!
Yeah defiantly keep us posted!
I had a bar for breakfast- slim fast snack..
Pizza and garlic bread for lunch.. having a shake or bar for dinner later.
Yes I had pizza and garlic bread but less than of it than I normally would and it's the only actual "meal" I'm having today.
I'm going to have a look at the WW app myself 🤔 X

First ww weigh in today. I've found the plan really easy to stick to and I've had quite a few treats over the week including prosecco on a night out with the girls.

Lost 2lb so 11 stone 6lb. Am really hopeful this is maintainable as I don't feel like I'm depriving myself of anything.

BeBe32 · 04/03/2017 10:23

Well done, that's great! I sometimes think I need the structure of following a particular plan and going to a group, but because of work I would struggle to get there regularly I think. I've had a rubbish week and I'm now heavier than when I started. I feel awful, I just can't do this!

BeBe32 · 05/03/2017 11:47

Ugh, so annoyed with myself. Weighed myself this morning and as expected I'm the heaviest I've ever been. What is wrong with me?! I am miserable but still feel completely unmotivated and can't seem to stick at anything. Feel like such a failure, feel like people who haven't seen me for a while must thing I look huge. Hope you are both doing better than me!

xx

busyboysmum · 05/03/2017 18:36

Ah bless you it is really hard. I've upped my exercise so although the weight is similar I do feel so much better about myself and have more of a spring in my step. Maybe start with that instead?

BeBe32 · 05/03/2017 18:59

You're right, I definitely need to exercise more but feeling so shattered from work that I rarely do...but I need to make myself!!

busyboysmum · 05/03/2017 19:11

It's wierd with the exercise as if you get into the habit and do something you enjoy it actually gives you more energy. I'm finding it knocks on to all areas of my life. It's just making the effort and getting into the habit.
