Hairspray I am not great in the rain, but I'll suck it up in a bit of light drizzle. I hate umbrellas and most hoods, so I'm a bit hard to please! The dark takes some getting used to: you'll have seen me whinging on this thread about "REEEEEALLY not feeling like going for a swim etc." and there really is something psychologically hard about trudging out into the night. I do find, though, that once I'm on my way I don't even register it. It's tricky though because I really started losing weight in April so I haven't had to deal with it getting dark by 3.30-4pm the entire time, and it's been a bit of a shock. I don't so much mind it falling dark whilst I'm out, but walking in the dark along the canal path, for instance, doesn't feel very safe and isn't especially pleasant.
BOOP I feel like I am always on the run from my bladder! It's the huge amounts of fluids I take in on fast days which do it. I usually structure my walks around nipping into the park loos but it was so dark last night I actually almost got locked in the park, and the loos had been locked up. Thank God it wasn't a more pressing need
Those tips are really interesting. Some of them are pretty obvious, like not eating between meals, and some are impossible, like only ever drinking vodka, tequila or red wine and only eating beastly 70% chocolate (
to all that shit), but starting meals with protein is a new one on me, and I've never heard the thing about switching proteins.
It annoys me that she doesn't say why the apple-a-day thing is so good, except for the fact that she likes them
I should really get on top of my tea intake. I've heard other people on threads having success with switching to just hot water, which is apparently fab for the digestion too. I might give it a go. Probably help the state of my increasingy piratey teeth too...
