Thread title now changed. Motivation ahoy, ladies. In case you're wondering, Easter is 16th April so 12 weeks tomorrow or 84 days. That's a pound and a peanut a week! We can definitely do it!
Thank you Mumsnet!
Today has been :
B : fruit salad with yoghurt and chocolate mini weetabix
L : Chicken and falafel salad with hummous and sour cream and chive pretzels.
T : chili and rice with garlic yoghurt
I've eaten more today than usual, but I did a Zumba class this morning, and have been out all day at rehearsals (I'm in the local amateur dramatic group, first performance tomorrow) so it's been a much more physical day than usual for me.
Smell you're still nearly half a stone lighter than that sticky weight now, and more importantly, you know you can get past it!
Millie I'm in awe you're considering a holiday this year! DS is nearly 2 and we did a couple of overnight stays his first year, and then a week away an hour from home last year. I put my maternity clothes away when DS was 9 months, but am only just now anywhere near my pre-pregnancy weight. I put on 4 stone
due to SPD and constant nausea relieved only by bread or other such carbs: it's been a hard slog!
Wench isn't the saying 'feed a cold'? I hope you're feeling better soon! DH is just coming down with it, as is DS. You're doing well keeping it up, though. Hopefully all this being healthy will stop you getting ill again? hopeful emoticon
loki DH is a clinical psychologist working with CAHMS, so I can empathise with what you're going through. Just keep on keeping on with it, it's the only way. Fingers crossed for your weigh in tomorrow.
Hope you are getting on okay, Notso. What a shame that DS is taking you for granted. 1550 is quite good for maintenance calories, though. That would be manageable!
triangular don't be too strict with yourself. Slow and steady is the key. I know you want it all off for your wedding (how many sleeps now?) But think how much better it is to lose that weight and keep it off!
Bibs well done on getting straight back to your no-chocolate resolution. In my opinion, that's what's more important : not that we stick to resolutions, but that we can deal with breaking them. It's all about the long-term! Just look how far we've all come already, in less than 12 weeks!
