I have been trawling through adding people on MFP I'm ClaireoHare28 if anyone wants to add me Smile

Kreeshsheesh · 08/04/2016 10:18

Hi Claire I've just sent you an MFP friend request. Thistoo thank you for your lovely positive post! Smile

ThisToo · 08/04/2016 13:07

Hi stellar I hope some of my positive mood spreads your way today and you have a good day.
Hi claire I sent you an mfp friend request too.
Hi kreesh I thought I'd post something positive on a day when I am in good place to make up for the days I post and cry for help because I'm in that not-so-good place Grin

Stellar67 · 08/04/2016 13:47

Thistoo we must have cross posted. I feel so much better now. Have got my bad food day out of the way. I've been to the swimming pool and I met a friend who said I was looking good! (I was in my swimsuit!)
So yes, feel like I am doing well!
Isn't it nice when people notice.

I agree, everyone is a Star on here. It's not easy, but it can be done. Smile

ThisToo · 08/04/2016 14:08

You're doing brilliantly stellar what could be better than receiving a compliment when you're in a swimsuit? Smile

BanjoPier · 08/04/2016 14:37

I've just ordered 2 new bikinis online for my summer hols in a size 12 - am currently a 14 at a squeeze - if I'm being honest, I'm a 16 but I'm not going there. Using them as my incentive for moments when the lure of all things carby is strong. I will be lovely, toned, bronzed and above all happy on this holiday if it kills me

SharingMichelle · 08/04/2016 15:58

Hello everyone. Tricky day today - massive family roast lunch. Very boozy. Pudding. Cheese. Nuts. BUT... I think I did pretty well. I only had one glass of wine. I drank fizzy water the rest of the time (and was still pretty sparking company I think). I had one plate of roast, no yorkies. One bowl of crumble with custard. Passed on the ice cream. Was very good with cheese - tried a little of each but didn't hog into it. I've gone 87 over on my calories but I'm okay about that. Frankly don't want to live in a world where I can't enjoy a family dinner, or have to turn down the pud my ds2 made. I logged the main and pud and my lunch, and logged the cheese and wine as my dinner Blush

VilootShesCute · 08/04/2016 17:45

Oh banjo, I can only DREAM of wearing a bikini. I can't remember the last time I wore one. Prob when I was a child. Sob. Which ones have you ordered? (Nosey I know...) Wink

Stellar67 · 08/04/2016 18:42

Viloot, Banjo I too will never wear a bikini again. But I am enjoying swimsuits with special bits to pull in. Wink
Thank you thistoo I had made a start before this thread so I'm already a fair bit down. It is a "pullmein" swimsuit so I think it's all about the colours and pattern. Debenhams do them. I'd previously spent years in speedo unsightly swimsuits that the kids couldn't pull at and have me topless, but this is a more flattering style so it's been nice to feel more womanly.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Cocoaone · 08/04/2016 20:01

Hello everyone!

This week has been a bit of a disaster - DDs bday + going back to work + no time for shopping = knackered and not making the best choices.
G&T and pizza tonight, drawing a line under it and moving on!

Only 7 weeks until my holiday now Shock

Kreeshsheesh · 08/04/2016 20:48

Bad here too! Away at the moment to watch gymnastics which you'd think would inspire me to be fit and healthy! However it's been tricky to eat properly when out and about, eating on the hoof. Then there were munchies and crisps. Arghh! If you add to this the fact that I haven't done any couch to 5k, methinks my plan is going slightly awry. That said, I will go back to routine and get back to it as soon as we are home again tomorrow!

Pinkvici22 · 08/04/2016 20:53

Having a bad day here too! Was good until mid afternoon then a very bad meeting resulted in my colleague buying me a toffee flapjack!! The evening has got worse with red wine and maltesers...

I promise I'll be good tomorrow Sad

ThisToo · 08/04/2016 21:05

Tomorrow is a new day! I think if we want to lose weight and keep it off, then we really have to be thinking about long term change and eating better as a way of life. But life would be a lot less fun if we ate perfectly everyday, so I think living a little is fine as long we get back on it as soon as we can and don't slide back into bad habits. Besides perfection is over rated luckily for me
Also kreesh - what gym are you watching? It was my sport of choice for my entire childhood (training several hours a day) and it's still the ultimate sport imho Smile

Kreeshsheesh · 08/04/2016 21:44

This we have taken dd (10) to Liverpool to see the U18 girls' all-round competition in British Gymnastics Championships. It was a very big birthday treat for her and it has really inspired her. She and ds are into sporty stuff, so unlike DH and I We enjoy watching sport with them and want to encourage the DC to be much more active than we ever were at their age. I'm fairly clumsy and uncoordinated, but can just about manage couch to 5k. I have dreams of being able to play team sport, but I'm way too old these days plus seriously lacking in ability! Sounds like you have some flexible talents, there! Grin

ThisToo · 08/04/2016 22:28

That's so cool kreesh. I would have loved that at your DD's age.

I think it's my "flexible talents" that first attracted my DH Grin

ijustwanttobeme · 08/04/2016 22:35

I've had a bad day too. Not so much cake and biscuits but significantly going over my calorie limit.

Drawing a line under it, and moving on.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Claire28will · 09/04/2016 06:53

6 pound off in 6 days! GrinGrinjust about to do the ultimate workout in Davina's DVD and I'm actually looking forward to it!

SharingMichelle · 09/04/2016 07:20

I overate a bit yesterday. Going to drag the family out for a long walk on the beach today. It won't be brisk, but surely better than slobbing at home.

SharingMichelle · 09/04/2016 07:22

Is anyone else a bit approximate when it comes to updating mfp? I usually end up under my calorie allowance, but then I don't log coffee and tea, which I splash milk into. So I figure I'm about right by the end of the day. Anyone else? Or should I be more precise?

Claire28will · 09/04/2016 07:37

The beach sounds lovely Michelle! Sometimes it feels more rewarding when it's brisk!
I log everything on MFP, tea and coffee for me is minimal
I use skimmed milk so the calories are really low if I didn't log it I don't think it would make much difference tbh, as long as you have a good few calories left at the end of the day I wouldn't bother logging it Smile

ThisToo · 09/04/2016 08:44

Wow 6lb claire that's fantastic - congratulations Star
I'm so jealous sharing I miss the beach having grown up in Cornwall and then move to SE for uni and work. A wander along the beach might not burn a massive amount of kcal but should do wonders for your mood which should help with making sensible food choices etc Smile

BanjoPier · 09/04/2016 09:23

Just cheapy ones from George, but they do proper bra sizes which are necessary for my norks and I don't want to spend out on Bravissimo prices if I don't get down to my target weight. I have a couple of scaffolding one piece costumes already as back up.

Had a Chinese takeaway last night but starved all day so I could have it and be under my 1200 calories. It was worth it Smile.

Have a good weekend all.

parisdreams84 · 09/04/2016 10:02

So pleased had work and detoxing in 3 days I've lost 3.5lbs 😊

Cocoaone · 09/04/2016 10:21

Well done Paris and Claire! Star

I'm definitely not expecting a loss on Monday! I've got to spend the morning tidying/cleaning after the leftover birthday carnage. I bloody hate cleaning!

lorelei9here · 09/04/2016 11:12

Ive not been feeling too well so dint imagine there'll be any loss on Monday.
