OP posts:

Needed a bit of a pick-me-up this week following my 1lb gain. Went to M&S to be measured for a new bra (can't remember the last time - think it was when b/feeding). Was wearing an old 36C. Came out with new 32DD! Bl**dy hell ! Can't get over how high my boobs are now (like not down by my waist!!)
So I've been to do an exercise class too today and feel back on track.

Oops, sorry for the double posting!

Decided to take the plunge and joined a class tonight.

Was horrified at how much ive put on but never mind at least im doing something about it now.

just a thought, have they stopped the mix to max thing that was in the magazine as they never mentioned it at the club tonight.

Rooicosta · 10/01/2007 19:57

Hi Jenk1 & congrats on joining class! I joined class for the first time on Monday, though have followed the plan before. They still do the Mix2Max plan and the details should all be in your Food Optimising handbook, it's just that they don't go through it when you first start as they like you to get to grips with the Red and Green days first. If you already have these off to a fine art though, I would just ask your consultant to go over this with you next time you're at class.

Good luck x

My inspiration to lose weight is so i can feel myself again and be able to buy nice clothes. And I'm off to Portugal in August with my DH & DS and our friends, we're all staying in a villa so want to get my body fit and toned and to walk around the pool with confidence and not feel like a huge lump of jelly.

Day 2 (green) has gone well, am 100%, cooked spanish tortilla today and was yum although potatoes were little hard but i dont mind that.

Just had a lovely dessert, put a handful of blueberries in my danone straw yoghurt...mmm de-lish!

TheWillowTree · 10/01/2007 21:40

Does anyone have a new password - I tried to log on earlier and it would not let me

Thanks

jenk1 · 10/01/2007 21:50

we were told tonight that our password is family, try that one

lurcherlass · 10/01/2007 21:58

I was wondering what to do with my big pot of VLF fromage frais...as if by majic, on the SWs website, has appeared a list of ways to use your VLF F frais. Just made some icecream with mine- pot of mullerlite strawberry yogurt and a pot of F Frais. It's tasty and has a nice texture, although I would have liked it a bit sweeter. I'm sure I read somewhere you could make something out of those skinny cow lollies.Anyone heard of that?

ledodgy · 10/01/2007 22:27

Got weighed tonight and put on 3 pounds! Am actually ok with this though as I lost 2.5 pounds Christmas week because I was ill so have actually only put on half a pound over Christmas and new year . I'm also due on well I was due on 2 days ago and am very bloated (god I hope i'm not preggars!) so am hoping to come on tommorrow!

TheWillowTree · 10/01/2007 22:31

That's great - thank you

I am keeping my food diaries online which seems to be helping. Have been very good last 3 days so feeling happy.

Fireflyfairy2 · 10/01/2007 22:35

I had 1.5lb off tonight

MIL had 2lb off

Does everyone have a treat after their classes? I am having a twix & a bag of prawn cocktail

Also, my hubby began his "diet" last Thursday.... he bloody well has 7lb off!!!!!! Big git!! I swear, this week has been like living with Marjorie Dawes!!

Budababe I asked my SW leader tonight about sushi & she let me look through a book called foods from around the world.. Miso soup was 1.5syns & I can't remember anything else, just that it said best used as a HEB on a green day If you like I can get the book & post it to you????

Fireflyfairy2 · 10/01/2007 22:38

Oh Ledodgy. Every time before I joined ww (twice) I got pregnant!!!!!!!

So this time we have moved ds into a big bed...& now there's an empty cot sitting there

Hey, did any of you see how Jade Goody has been promoting that new dvd & she hadn't even lost the weight through slimming??? She had frikkin liposuction!!!!!1

Martha200 · 11/01/2007 07:06

Very relieved to have maintained!!
So tempted not to go then stay, but happier to have maintained than gained!!

Rooicosta · 11/01/2007 10:12

Well, I'm on day four of the plan and have followed it 110%, even given up my wine, which is a first!! But I got on the scales this morning (I know I shouldn't have ) and I weigh exactly the same as I did Monday at weigh in! I am sooooo disappointed ! I would have thought I'd have lost 1lb at least, even if it was only water!

Has anyone else found this? It is my first week after all. My mum says it may all come off at the end of the week???!

I'm determined to stick to plan though because I am really, really motivated (have to be, to have given up my wine for a whole 3 days lol!) but I do feel a bit down-heartened!

Any advice appreciated.

mummyjx · 11/01/2007 10:13

Am having rubbish week. Am so tired and fed up and have no energy for anything, so eating properly is out the window as I don't really want to eat (definately a "mans cold").
Have just seen my neighbour going out. She has 2 kids younger than mine and normally wears a really horrible coat and hat, but today she's gone out in black tailored outfit with her hair done and she looked stunning. Have rung the local college salon and booked an overhaul for next week - shame they can't do my mental state too.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fireflyfairy2 · 11/01/2007 10:39

Oh mummyjx.. neighbour envy will deffo do your diet good!!! LMAO!!

So far today I have had my oat so simple for brekkie & a banana. I also have a pot of soup on for lunch, only 1 syn I think is the veg stock cube, & the soup will do a couple of days.

have no idea what to do for dinner tonight.. Have chicken fillets & a few pork chops in the fridge so might do something with them. Any ideas?

hollyg · 11/01/2007 11:17

Morning All,

Glad to be of help StrawberrySnowflakes, i just keep thinking of my holiday in June (Sri Lanka) and sitting in a beer garden/park/work in the boiling heat trying to keep cool and covering up my stomach and arms-not doing it this year!!

Your wedding sounds amazing Rooicosta, definately thinsperation!

I had a really bad day yesterday, my sweet tooth carried on all night, had a half frozen toffee mullerlight to take the edge off(!)- then 4 rich tea fingers (1 each) and 4 m&s dark jaffa cakes (2.5 each) then a lg glass of wine, don't know what came over me!(Time of month i suspect! either that or knackered not been sleeping much- feel back on track today just have to have a no syn couple of days to make up for it-yay!!!

Rooicosta · 11/01/2007 11:47

Hollyg - I totally know where you're coming from about yesterday. Luckily, I didn't have any goodies but I quite easily could have done. I had a really bad sweet tooth yesterday and craved chocolate really bad! Today I feel fine though - weird!?!

hollyg · 11/01/2007 12:05

You must have more willpower than me then Rooicosta, well done for not giving in!

Funny thing is i don't really have that much of a sweet tooth normally- v strange!!

BENDYB · 11/01/2007 12:08

hey every1, any of u know the syns in 'stagg vegetable chilli' ???

Also can some1 plz tell me how 2 make veg soup! I've never made it before but i know its really easy just need 2 know exactly what to put in it (apart from veg!!!) thanks,

hollyg · 11/01/2007 12:19

Hi Bendy B,

Stagg Vegetable Chilli, Vegetable Garden, canned 410g can

Original 7½ Syns Green 3 Syns

HLP

for soup i just throw whatever veg i have- leek, carrots, potatoes, etc with lentils and stock - reduce it down and give it a whizz in the magimix- season and away you go!

Rooicosta · 11/01/2007 12:21

BendyB- Stagg veg Chilli is 3 syns on green but if you have a Sainsbury's near-by, call in and grab a can of Vegetable Chilli in a Rich Spicy Sauce (own brand) as it's totally free on green and really nice.

If you have a Tesco near-by too you could also grab their Tesco Micro pouches - Jasmine, plain Basmati and Bombay Pilau (they're great if you don't want to bother cooking) as they are all FREE on green and they're the only microwave pouches that are!

Not sure about the soup so hopefully someone else will be able to help you out with that one...!

Rooicosta · 11/01/2007 12:23

We must have posted at the same time !

BENDYB · 11/01/2007 12:36
