I have 10 stone to lose overall. There, I said it. No going back now. I miss riding my horse, I miss being happy and I have a toddler that doesn't want a sweaty elephant for a mum.
Anyone want to join me for some moral support?

I would like to join too I stopped smoking last year and weight has piled on - feeling very uncomfortable Sad I do ride and thankfully my horse is a big in so can take my weight but I feel so uncomfortable when I ride. I am going on holiday with 5 other ladies in July and I really don't want to be the biggest one there it will make me so miserable. I followed the Facebook link but it says page is cancelled or unavailable

Me too please... I would love to lose 1.5 stone... That's what I was pre dc. Have managed to lose 0.5 stone over the past year but I'm finding it harder and harder to get the weight to shift. Weight watchers used to work for me but the new pro points plan doesn't work for me at all. I tried low carb but it messes up my brain too much. This year I'm ditching all diets. I've been vegetarian for the past few months already, and am doing veganuary this year. After that it's just going to be eating good wholesome food. I already eat fairly well most of the time but have a tendency to eat the kids leftovers which I need to stop. I also need to start doing some exercise this year. I'd like to join the fb group too but think it's been made secret already?

I'd love to join too please! I have 4 stone to lose to get to mid range BMI but would be happy to lose 3. Looking forward to getting this weight off and feeling happier by the pool in summer! I'd like to join the fab group too please if someone could let me know how to do it?

Over the last year I appear to have grown my tummy so it nicely matches my chest. Not so much hourglass as your basic cylinder Hmm

I'd like to join too please. This morning I weighed 14st 7lbs. I have already lost 11lbs since the summer. I would like to lose 8lbs in the next 10 weeks for an event I'm taking part in as I feel it is achievable and will make it easier. After that I have another 15lb target for another event in September, again being lighter will help. I am not pushing myself to be 10st or anything because I don't feel like I would be able to achieve it and I think breaking it down into targets is the best way for me. I have meal planned for January and my initial goal is to make sure I cook and break the takeaway habit. Far too easy to decide I'm too tired to cook or deserve a treat. Justeat and Hungry House are not my friends! I will still enjoy myself if I'm out with friends etc. Small changes to build up to the bigger picture for me. After I get more into it I might start 5:2 again, possibly in Feb. Will see how I get on!

Going shopping soon and will batch cook some meals later to make it easier during the rest of the month.

I'm In too - joined the Facebook group. I have 2.5 stone that needs to go, 3 would be even better.
My weight has gone on over last 2 years. I am toying with starting at slimming world, having never been to anything like that before but am go to see if this thread / Facebook can keep me on track.

The biggest eye opener for me is, I bought a fitbit and the app has generic targets and one of them is the recommendation to do a minimum 10,000 steps per day. Mine shows I'm doing between 1,400-1,800 per day Shock so I clearly need to get moving more.

I have 6-7 stones to lose. Lost this amount about 6 years ago but due to illness and stress put it back on. I have no self control.

I use my android phone, and go on the mobile site vua chrome. It could be different for android/apple.

I got used to eating loads after stuffing my face through PND, add to that the SPD and I was bound to get fat! I need to get my eating habits back to normal.

I'd love to join.
I lost 3st last year with SW, since November have put 1.5 back on. That leaves me another 3 to go.
I was doing so well and enjoying it I can't believe I let myself slip! I feel so awful, skin is awful, dodgy belly...I'm actually craving something green to eat and the house is still full of Christmas junk!
I intended starting back to my SW group on Tuesday but theres a short notice trip on the cards to deal with family related stuff so I probably won't get there this week. Funds are low anyway so it will probably be the week after now until I can do a full shop...with the things I should be eating.

I really want to get the weight off this year or at least the bulk of it.
We have a lot planned and I feel so uncomfortable the way I am now.
I need all the support I can get and a good kick up the backside too!!

Have pm'd ICR for the FB link, as I really need some support. I'm around 23.5 stone (horrendous I know) and need to sort myself out. I am pretty switched on generally but can't stop stuffing things in my gob!

Am 38 this year and have noticed over the last 3/4 years I am always the fattest (by miles) person in any room, I'm becoming a hermit as I don't want to go out and face people whispering/talking about how fat I am.

I am determined to do something about it this year and get back to being me and setting a better example for my children.

Am secretly excited and yet terrified, as I hate failing - and this is the only thing I've never been able to conquer. Good luck to us all!
