bad fats are bad. that's that. good fats have a lot of very important functions within the body. Friend is a qualified nutrionist so I do know some of what am talking abotu!

Coddy, I thought you were supposed to eat less in the evening because you burn it off slower?

I think that is one of my probs, eating big dinner with DP about 8/8.30pm

just had veg soup and carrot sticks with hummus. dull

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 13:17

acc to an article i read a few years ago there are several diet myths;

  1. that you can target an area of your body
  2. thats you can healthily lose more than 2 lbs a week( alhto 1st week always different)
  3. that eating late at night makes any diff - acc to this its the energy you use up before that makes a difference.
  4. that fatter people have slow meatbolisms - they must have fast ones to be able to scoff so much

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 13:18

so the answer is eat a smaller supper then but eat more at lunchtime

as I said something has to give to make uou eat less!
