coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 12:36

Jan its all a matter of give and take - if you want it you can but I would rather save those cals for a biscuit of half a glass of wine or a shot if vodka

So i can't have a bacon and egg sarnie for dinner then

gscrym · 19/05/2004 12:52

I had cornflakes with semi skimmed milk and I've had a tuna sandwich with low flavour (sorry fat) mayonaise. Don't know what dinner will hold as I'm diving later and may need something to steady my nerves. No drink though, I'm allergic. Also allergic to caffeine. If only I had a cake and biscuit allergy, I'd be happy.
Also off to buy digital scales this afternoon.

JanZ · 19/05/2004 12:52

It's carrot, potato and orange soup tongiht - made last week by dh.

Got to pop up to M&S to get some bread to have with the soup. Won't put any butter on it though.

Have already had a bagel (plain), 3 slices of ham and a piece of Emmentalle for lunch. Still got an apple for a snack. Will probably get a fruit smoothy while I'm uptown as well.

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 13:00

the soup sounds good janz - anyhting predominantly veggie - ie tomato sauce for pasta or soup is good
try and pad out any protein - chicken fish with extra veg

gscrym · 19/05/2004 13:01

I've just seen a set of scales that talk to you. They can even bark your weight in German. If that doesn't scare you into slimness, what will!

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 13:01

nutty

what bout a salad - I get a huge Pyrex bowl and empty a bag of slad into it

add toms, spring onion, olives and egg or tuna or one slice of ham and mix it all up

Have started ww again today after having fallen off wagon

katierocket · 19/05/2004 13:08

I do think it's important to draw distinction between good fats (omega 3s etc, VERY important) and bad fats.

Although what do I know, I'm the one 10lbs overweight, not coddy!
best thing I did was see a nutrionist, not for weight loss but for other issues, it was fantastic and following her advice totally changed my energy levels BUT I just can't give up wine or cheese actually (bad fat).

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 13:10

just had luch at work - baked potato (no butter, and didn't eat the skin cos it was black - yeuk)
roast chicken breast and salad (no dressing)

2 big glasses of water

banana.

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 13:11

thats a low cal munch BGb but quite a big one - ww points would be about 8 for that - out of say 18!

OP posts:
coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 13:11

oh and banan is 1.5/2

oliveoil · 19/05/2004 13:11

There are no such things as good and bad foods, everything in moderation
