Can I join and have shreddies for Brekkie? Does it matter how much we have?

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 12:28

hello twinny Jan

my brekkies will be 2 weetabix and 'unleaded' milk (red top)
or
porridge made with water (am I allowed a teaspoon of honey in it?)

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 12:29

yes to the honey GB - you are a bear after all!

feezy · 19/05/2004 12:30

I have a banana every day anyway so good idea to but in cereal. I like bananas with milk. What about glass of orange/apple juice ?

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 12:30

I need some low fat snacky type things - mid afternoon is my danger time (will IGNORE those biccies and fudge)

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 12:30

a average sized bowl - not one of those huge ones - IMO if it stops you snacking better to have a larger healthier breakfast - IYSWIM

My post crossed your Coddy.

Goody - I CAN weigh myself every day! Can I keep moving it around the (uneven) bathroom floor till I get a reading that I like?

I have mini shredded wheats for breakfast, with a wee bit of sugar - I presume they fit your criteria? Do I need to get out the artifical sugar substitute that I think I have lurking somewhere? I have semi skimmed milk with them plus in about 3-4 cups of tea over the day. Is it OK to stay semi - or do I need to cut back on the tea? (Really don't want to have fully skimmed milk - it's like water).

Don't think I'll manage to persuade dh to give up his wine - but I'll be good for the next week (excpet for Sunday - dinner a t my parents and my dad sdeosn't approve of diets!)

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 12:30

GRROWWLL!!

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 12:31

well In WW a drink of juice is one point - a waste of cals IMO - thats half aglass of wine!

drink a hufge glass of water as you unstack the dishwasher before breakfast - will fill you up and great for your skin

OP posts:
suzywong · 19/05/2004 12:31

breakfast suggestion;
1/3 cup quaker oats made up in to porridge with 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Made edible with the addition of 1 big tablespoon of fruit yogurt, a sprinkling of dried fruit and same of nuts or seeds

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 12:32

coddycodcod · 19/05/2004 12:32
