Sorry - have not dropped out = (feel really guilty now!) Have remained at 10st 2lb for the past week - and have just found out am preggers, but would still like to loose some weight, oh great Cod one - is this possible if child bearing??

blush{} ummm, you heard Boerewurz, which are special totally non calorific saus...saus...saus sausages. I'll only have one, promise!

(Do I admit to the fact that Dad makes them as one long coil, so I could have one ENORMOUS long one!!!!! )

There will aslso be Sosarties (spelling?), South African kebabs, with meat chunks and apricots. They'll be nice and low fat and healthy!

Oh good so I'm not to late to join. can someone give a quick rundown on whats, what. What I have to do (besides lose weight) and what I'm not allowed to do... thank you for letting me hop on board.

I have 1.5st to lose but I'll be so happy if I could shift this stone that's been bugging me for a year now!

Can I join too please?? I'm 5ft 3 and 10 st 4 - would like to get down to 9 st something - not that bothered about actual weight loss, but fed up with stuffing myself full of biccies/chips etc! Are healthy take aways allowed - e.g. McDonald Quorn Burger - about 300 cals or BK Lite Chicken Flamer - you know the one that is about 350 cals???

hi Everyone
9st 4ls this morning. Lost 1 lb since Friday!

Basically we just eat healthily - if you scroll down this thread to the beginning you will see that Coddy gave us some ideas of what to eat for breakfast/lunch/supper etc.
The golden rule is to eat alarge bowl of cereal and a banana for breakfast and coddy says you don't feel hungry
drink lots of water
think calories
salad and things for lunch
limit carbs
have healthy snacks to nibble on such as carrots, rasins etc
Also when the going gets tough you have to say:
Nothing tastes as good as eing slim does
you can't be hungry if you don't want carrots (or something like that - sorry Coddy)
You have to weigh in at least o nce a week - but saying what your cumulative loss is.
I've lost the way a bit - but am bacxk on track now so will only post cumlative loss sice Friday..

WOOHOO!!! Ive lost half a stone!! I am now exactly 9 stone

Ive got the weight watchers points list so I have been watching what Ive been eating, and eating a big bowl of cereal. Ive been doing sit ups and crunches too, I try to do 40 of each a day.

Right, so I've jumped on the bandwagon this morning. I weighed myself and I'm 11st 3. My goal is 9.5 but would settle for 10st

I've had 50g of tesco cranberry shredded wheat things with skimmed milk and a carrot so far this morning. Think I might have to re-think my breakfast tomorrow and try and hold out until about this time instead of when I get up

I'm gonna find this hard BUT I really need to do this.

today I had:
branflakes and a bandna
a cookie ( ds2 and i made them)
crackers and philly
some grapes with ds3 and for supper am having grilled pork burger (!) tomato and basil salad anss ome rice salad I think. ( rice salad rather indulgent)

Coddy - Do you get hungry? - I would if I only ate that - how many crackers do you have at lunchtime.
I'm still 9st 4lbs BUT I am on the lead up to AF and I normally put weight on then.
Need to get focused
Had branflakes for brekkie
Got Crackers and philly for lunch (hence the question)
Strawberries to nibble on...
Chicken and veg stir fry for supper with a small amount of brown rice.

Janz - don't forget if you are running you will be toneing the "loose bits" on those thighs into muscles - which will weigh more than fat - IYSWIM

... whispers ... Mummytosteven I've lost two stone and not given up my takeaways yet. Stuck to healthy ones, tikka chicken or chicken kebab, loads of salad, tried to share with DH rather than have a whole one to myself (although usually I do have a whole one to myself). Don't really do ready meals though but would find it very hard to live without my takeaways.

tandoori chicken is good compromise on Indian, good chinese is singapore style vermicelli or say a chicken in oyster sauce with chili or ginger and spring onion... Make your own rice you know whats added...
I;ve ckimbed back up to 10st after going from 10 st 7 to 9st 12
My fault, pigged out when DH was away on stag weekend plus drinking too much beer...
Am being very strict from here on in.
Must get to under 9 1/2 stone soon!!!!

Dare to show face after a rather poor start and have gone down from 12st13lb to 12st7lb and for the last ten days have been trying hard.

Is it breaking the rules to have v small evening meal in order to drink and watch football, seems to have been ok so far but i know not v healthy

weighed myself agian today and lost another 1/2 pound since yesterday.
relieved abouit the crackers as I had 4 ryvitas....still think I'd be hungry if I were you Coddy - I admire your style!!

Had very small portion of supper - 2 tablespoons of brown rice (measured when cooked) and a smal1 amount of chicken and veg stir fry. No pudd or dessert. BUT did have small glass of red wine.
Also gave in to temptation during the day and had a special K bar (everyone else was eating chocolate!!!)

The menu plan for the day is: (not that I am obsessed with food or anything!)
Breakfast: I had Fruit and fibre, bananna, 1 small balck coffee
Mid morning snack: an apple
Lunch: Crackers and philly, raspberries
Mid afternoon snack: apple
Supper: Chicken breast and salad (maybe small galss of red wine!)
Her's to being 9st 3 tomorrow!!

OK - I'm officially joining you all. I have approx 5-7kg to lose asap. Most of the preggy weight fell off to what I am now and another month and a half and lots of exercise later none of it seems to be shifting. DH thinks that my stomach is actually bigger than it was a month or so ago.
So far today I had 2 pieces of vogels toast(organic brown bread) with banana at 6am then did a 45min spinning class, 1/2 hr weights and walked 4 miles. Had 2 poached eggs on toast as a late brekky at 10am.
Now just have to work out what I'm going to do with the rest of my day.
