!

welcome all

suzywong · 03/06/2004 13:29

kaiterocket
you have to be very strict with digital scales and make sure they are in exactly the same position on the floor at each weighing, I find even an inch change in position makes a difference in the reading.

katierocket · 03/06/2004 13:37

ok cods

almost40 · 05/06/2004 03:18

Coddy, just want to let you know that the carrot chant has helped me lose 5 pounds. Just 20 more to go . . . .

magnum · 05/06/2004 08:13

I am so depressed. Really have been very good and looking forward to getting on scales this morning but I've gone from 10st 3 to 10st 7 seemingly overnight Really don't know what I did wrong, have been eating a lot less than usual and only have one glass of wine and not a bottle every evening now.

JanZ · 05/06/2004 12:41

Reporting in belatedly (I had forgotten I was taking yesterday off to go to the Gardening Scotland Show)... was 10 stone 13lb yesterday, which is 3lb off from the very start, but one pound UP on last week. This is despite cutting back massively on wine consumption, chocolate and biscuits, and attempting to eat healthily, with more fruit and veg. I'll blame my period, which started yesterday.

I must try and start running again - get the exercise to start increasing my metabolism!

Anyway, off to plant my spoils from yesterday while it is still sunny.

codswallop · 05/06/2004 12:47

Oh dear i feel I ma failing you all.!

I wonder who you are all puting on!
this was not hteplan

JanZ · 05/06/2004 13:27

...'s not you Coddy!

All I can do is to continue to be "good" and eat healthily!

I am sure my rewards will be be there at next week's weigh in!

(I'm going to HAVE to apply for that passport soon...!)

codswallop · 07/06/2004 11:55

well?

Welshmum · 08/06/2004 09:01

10.7
So no change - but I'm quite happy as I had a thoroughly naughty weekend. Am being good now though.
I've just changed office so I'm having to scout out appropriate lunch - nightmare as am surrounded by fantastic food shops now, old place had nothing at all so was very easy.

JanZ · 08/06/2004 09:12

No progress to report on the weight front but... I HAVE started running again 15 minutes on Sunday and 31 minutes and 28 seconds yesterday. Had taken a day off yesterday and went out for the run with dh, which was very pleasant. Am going to try to get out again tonigit and keep the momentum going.

On the other hand.... took ds (3.9) on his first outing to the cinema yesterday to see Harry Potter - and you CAN'T watch a film without popcorn and sweets, can you...?
