Alevere / Alizonne

dm2ooo · 23/03/2015 11:46

For reasons unknown, the name of the Alizonne diet has changed to Alevere. I have only known it as Alevere and wanted to start a new thread so people can find it under the new name.

I am nearing the end of week 1 and have lost 8lbs so far. I don't count this much as I lose 7lbs in the first week of any diet. I'll see how I go over the next few weeks.

It's a lot of work to follow but I'm getting used to it. Would be happy to swap tips with anyone - particularly on recipes.

Also very happy as I won £500 today which covers a lot of the 1st month costs!!! :)

Hi all, especially newbies! Just back from 2 week hols. Got put onto stage2 early as rubbish weight losses- like 1 lb a week- was wearing me down so had a bit of protein added each day. Better than dropping out of program like so many had, I guess. Came back to a 2lb gain but have cut back to stage 1 now. Have lost 4 stone in 6 months, not 4 months as told, and still have 3 to go. Will persevere tho. X

WooLoo · 29/06/2016 14:06

Carrielyn, a 2lb gain is not too bad after a two week holiday! I'm going away with my family and friends for two weeks at the beginning of August. I'm hoping to remain on stage 1 whilst away. Do you think this is achievable? I am concerned about it if I'm honest. Everyone around me will be enjoying the holiday spirit - and eating and drinking loads! As I've only just started, I'm worried that a backward step at the mo might screw my determination and willpower?

You e done so well though to have lost the 4 stone. That's an amazing amount of weight - I'm impressed! You're over half way xxxx

Carrielyn · 29/06/2016 14:50

Hi Wooloo a holiday is hard. I didn't go for meals with the others- only way I can avoid the food and drink temptations! We were self catering so it was ok. I never cheated once, just added a few oz of protein, so didn't expect a gain. At least I saved 2 weeks clinic fees- over £450- but it's disappointing. God knows what alcohol would have done to me! Lol

Aliblob · 30/06/2016 22:00

I'm currently in Majorca and have been put onto maintenance while I'm here (hub currently watching the bloody football I might add). I've not really followed it to be honest but am just trying to eat sensibly, no bread, potatoes, or the gorgeous allioli (garlic mayonnaise) but am allowing myself a glass of wine, well two to be honest. I know that I will have put on weight and I am in full admiration for those who stick to the plan while away. I know I'll pay for it when I'm back but will put myself back on stage 1 and hope to lose what I've gained quickly. Good luck to the new starters, it gets easier as every week goes by.

Aliblob · 30/06/2016 22:05

Sorry, wooloo, I meant to add that even if you stray while away, have the mindset it's just a "break" and be determined to go back on the plan the day after you get back. It won't be easy but there is no point being miserable on holiday or resenting others for enjoying themselves. Holidays are for enjoying so don't beat yourself up if you "relapse". If you are determined to lose weight now then you will be when you get home.

BexxG · 18/07/2016 20:36

Hi, I was just wondering if any of my old Alevere friends were around. How's everyone doing? xx

alphachick007 · 17/08/2016 18:27

Hi BexxG, I was at my target weight for months but I let things slip this summer. We have had house guests and an all inclusive holiday abroad so I have gained half a stone. So I am determined to get back on the straight and narrow and loose the weight again.
How are you doing?

Tallone16 · 27/08/2016 07:55

Hi all is there anybody still using this forum. I have started my weight loss today with Alevere and would love to keep in touch with anybody just starting or anybody that is on the programme

Ang64 · 14/09/2016 15:20

Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing well on the Alevere programme and getting to where they need to be!
Some of you may know, some may now, but Alevere now has a Client Blog (www.alevereblog.com) which they share on their Facebook page etc, to give people an insight of the programme from a clients point of view.

If any of you would like to write about your journey (preferably new or new-ish starters) please inbox me!

Keep up the good work :)

Hi everyone, how are you all getting on?

Hi Alphachick, I was doing really well up until a few weeks ago. I don't know what happened i just lost the plot completely. I've put just over a stone back on and I'm devastated. I keep trying to get a hold of it, but after a few days I'm so hungry, I cave and the first opportunity for all the wrong things.

I've even tried to go back onto the sachets but I've gone off everything apart from the cold drinks so this week I'm going to try and supplement in between meals so my blood sugar doesn't drop too much.

I know I can do this, I just wish it wasn't so hard.

Which brings me to my next point. I have a few boxes of hot chocolate sachets to sell. The best before date is April this year, but they are absolutely fine. £10 a box with free delivery, payment via PayPal. Private message me if you're interested xx

So I'm thinking of going back to to this diet I'm embarrassed to say it will be my third time!! In the past I have had great results but I will be honest the affordability has been a factor. I was wondering if anyone has tried less of the body treatments to make it more affordable and still had good results? I'm thinking of phoning clinic today buts it embarrassing to say I gave up twice!! And if I carry on long term I can't afford body treatments every week

umbreen1 · 20/02/2017 12:32

Have been on this diet for about 4 weeks
I have only been doing the food supplements but not the body massage treatments
Am I missing out on the treatments? does it make much of a difference?

zorbag · 20/02/2017 16:56

Seems that the ultrasound treatment is the least essential, but the hoover one is supposed to prevent the shrivelled skin look.

umbreen1 · 20/02/2017 20:10

Thanks Zorbag Smile

oliviaoatcake · 08/03/2017 11:42

Does anyone know if there is still a site (as there was with Alizone) with recipes or a cook book? I've registered on the forum and looked online but can't see anything. I'm on maintenance and would like to do more - especially with veg.

umbreen1 I was told that the ultrasound does the most, as it empties the fat cells. When I was doing it, I certainly noticed large losses afterwards. The hoover treatment (endermology?) not so much.

Asp81 · 25/03/2017 10:59

Hi I have done this diet before when it was Alizonne and now bigger than I was when I started. I loved the diet and my weight loss, but haven't successfully kept it off. Can I just ask how you have got on after and in the years since doing the diet? Im considering doing it again.

oliviaoatcake · 26/03/2017 23:30

I put 10lbs on when i tried HRT, thats why i went back on it. Lost it now. I was on the Light program though (2 stone or less to lose) so not a huge amount of money or time invested. I gather its like any other weight loss system though,(WW/Slimming World) you have to be very careful or you put the weight back on. The new system is good though, more and better foods, less restrictive than Alizone. I cant be left alone in a room with their chocolate crunch bars! Grin

Asp81 do you know what made you put the weight back on? I think that's the key to managing it.

alphachick007 · 11/05/2017 15:14

Hi all, I reached my goal weight but put on a few pounds first 3 at christmas and another 3 on the cruise. So I'm trying to get it off again. I find keepng the weight off is even more difficult than loosing it. Always have to watch what I'm eating. But it's worth it.

Wicca1974 · 31/05/2017 20:59

I keep hearing the adverts for Alevere on the radio, and whilst I'm curious and would really like to lose about 3-4 stone, it sounds really expensive. Is the payout just upfront for the sachets etc or are the sachets on top of some fee?
What happens if there are some veg you simply don't like? e.g. I don't like courgette, aubergine, peas or sweetcorn.
What happens during the maintenance phase, are you still paying out then too?
Sorry for all the questions. 😏

Lollipop8 · 07/06/2017 16:08

Hi is anyone here still doing the alevere diet???

I started the diet and I've just started week 3 today....

Wicca1974 · 07/06/2017 17:49

Hi lollipop8, I'm not on it but was considering it but I'm concerned about the cost

Lollipop8 · 08/06/2017 12:51

Hi Wicca1974

Yes the diet is costly, however at the same time it's a motivator. It roughly costs around £210 per week for the treatment and sachets.

It gives quick results so that also keeps me going.

I lost around 5lbs first week and just under 2lbs last week.... slow result for week 2.

Im hoping will catch up this week. I have quite a few stones to lose.
