So, I'm changing my life on Monday...

Well, that's what I hope. Am currently overweight. I am tall so can carry it quite well, but I always feel very flabby and am uncomfortable with my size. I have lost weight successfully before so I know I can do it, but have lacked a bit of motivation and willpower in the last year. Gradually my weight has crept up and trying on clothes yesterday was not fun!!

My plan is this:
Food diary - am a mindless eater
Drink more water - tend to eat when I am actually thirsty
Move more - this will be the biggest change. I work FT now and move much less within my everyday life. I now need to factor in exercise as it is no longer part of my day to day life.

I would like to lose 14 pounds in total, but am going to start with 7 pounds as my first goal!

So, anyone care to join me?

I stopped running but have picked it up against I went back some weeks and found it to easy, so luckily the gap didn't affect fitness levels too much. I'm running again tonight and have decided to do a week 7 this time.

I've booked a package of 8 sessions with a personal trainer. I'm excited and scared!! First session Saturday Confused.

I'm going to work on strength and building muscle. I do a cardio class and am definitely fitter but I'm very flabby! Trainer is v glamorous and quite no nonsense! Eek!

Dakota shred is hardcore! Never made it past day 2 myself.

I have just done a 4K run, it was okay. Not quite ready for 5K yet. I'm liking the idea of a personal trainer, I saw a lady out with one yesterday, he kept saying 'good girl' and 'you're awesome' whichade me smile. Can I ask (cheeky question) how much the 8 week package was?

It's £220 First. Am back at work after a long mat leave so thought I'd treat myself. It's an extravagance but I'm hoping she can teach me how to do strength building exercises properly as it's one on one. Also thought it'd be a good way to try lots of new things like boxing, kettle bells etc and see what I like. I'll let you know!!

It's probably worth the £220 because you have no way of getting out of it, and you will exercise for the whole session there will be no getting out of it! Good luck. :)

I've got a bring and share lunch at work today. It's one of those situations I'd usually overeat in. Going to buy some nice grainy, nutty salads from m&s to take and try and find some will power!

I didn't eat any of the cakey goodness in the staff room today Cake. I knew once I had one taste, I'd go crazy and stuff my face. I wasn't even that bothered! Will go out for a slice of far superior cake at the weekend I think. Less likely to get silly with it if I have a piece out at a cafe with the family.

Weighed in this morning. 1 and 1/2 pounds off. I'm 11 stone 4 and 1/2 pounds. Thrilled Grin. 10 stone barrier is in my sights!

Rubbish. I've lost 18 lb so I shouldn't be sad but 4 weeks with no loss is depressing. Ah well. There's always next week.

You've done so well to lose that 18 pounds and not allow staying the same to derail you. Fingers crossed this'll be your week. Are you going to do anything differently?

I'm going to do my 3 runs, I might also do my Davina dvd. Eating is going to be tricky because it's half term and I eat rubbish when I'm home all day, I graze. :(

Good luck with it. I find it easier to eat less when I'm at work. It's so easy to pick and snack at home, especially if I'm making meals/snacks for the kiddies.

Personal training session was good ta. Very hard, I actually felt sick with exertion but the time went quickly and I did enjoy it. Am aching in really weird places today so I definitely worked muscles I haven't moved in a looooong time! Probably since I was a baby!!!

I put on a pound. I'm okay with that though, as still testing out the 1700 calories thing and was expecting more.

First day of 30 day shred. Genuinely, hand on heart, thought I was going to puke immediately afterwards. Very much looking forward to looking like Jillian Michaels in 30 days time though!!! Wink
