SummerSazz · 02/03/2015 22:29

Bizarrely can't see my post from this morning on this thread although can see it on the threads I'm on preview. Most odd. I'll see if it pops back when I post this.

Crux was 11.5

Goodish day but crap all exercise as working 7-10 Hmm. Cabbage soup made and consumed for dinner so not all bad.

Luckoftheirish · 03/03/2015 07:54

Morning Smile

Gosh Sazz those are some crazy hours you are working Hmm. I have to say that working retains the pounds and there isn't physically not enough hours in the day to get any exercise/downtime.

Today is all about searching for hair dye for odd hair day at school tomorrow oh the joys! But will get I hope an extra walk in and hoping to make my favourite zumba class of week tonight time/energy dependent!

Luckoftheirish · 04/03/2015 07:17

Morning Smile

Did my favourite class last night and really enjoyed itSmile things are changing at my gym the membership
is going down to £14.99 a month and they are planning longer opening hours and loads more classes win win Smile

Hoping to make my 9.30 class this am and school run with children with v strange hair!!!

Have a good day all xx

I've still not got a total grip on my eating, but I'm drinking more water alongside my decaff tea and decaff coffee.

I'm loving the davina 7 minute fit exercise. I'm loving it that much I'm getting up at 6.05 so that I can fit in 30 minutes before DD gets up Grin

OP posts:
velmadinkly · 11/03/2015 09:47

Oh, we dropped off the front page!

I'm still doing the Davina 7 minute fit. It's fitting really well into my daily routine.

I've kind of got my eating under control, so hopefully I'll see some weight loss.

OP posts:
SummerSazz · 15/03/2015 19:10

No control here, just wobbly bits Sad

WTF is wrong with me????? Angry

Velma - i'm really pleased for you. It's so lovely when you get into a routine and everything starts to feel better. well done you Smile

Luckoftheirish · 16/03/2015 06:59

I'm just getting fatter by the day :( I actually broke the 14st barrier last weekend ( although you know my weekend binge weight gain...) and hovering around 13 5 which is still a stone up on Christmas and two up on two years ago. I am ok ish when I am fasting but once I start eating I can't stop.... none of my clothes fit me and I look dreadful.... but can't seem to get my head in any kind of weight loss space.. Help!!!!!!

Luckoftheirish · 18/03/2015 11:47

Oh fjorny Hmm I wish I had some good advice but we all seem to be flagging a bit!

Maybe if you post a typical day of eating and we can see where you can make changes?

I have tried every diet known to man and the only thing that ever works is eat less and exercise more. Great in theory but difficult to do in practise when we all have such busy lives.

I would say to stop buying all the things that you would go mad for but again difficult if others in the house enjoy them too.

So I am sending you a big hug and will help in any way I can xxxx

FjorGynAndHotWater · 19/03/2015 10:50

Hello loti :) I know exactly what I'm doing wrong, earing too much of the wrong stuff and doing zero exercise... hoping that coming back on here will give me a bit of a willpower kick... did well yesterday, only ate one extra bit of cheese after my tea and no chocolate! Having second fast day in a row today so will see how that goes...

SummerSazz · 19/03/2015 21:23

Hey Fjorny - welcome back. Sorry those extra pounds have followed you and I am suffering the same fate. Did kick my arse into running 8k yesterday and then pigged out on crisps

Work severely crazy but I can't keep using that as an excuse coz soon I won't be able to go to work as I won't have any clothes that fit Hmm

Love to everyone trying their best. Xx

FjorGynAndHotWater · 20/03/2015 10:20

Glad it's not just me slacking off! Although did just about manage to keep to my fast day, and even did some jogging on the spot to make up the 2.5k steps I was down on 10k Shock

13 5 this morning, hoping I have drawn a line in the sand. Not helped by work boozy do next week then easter hols including birthday... but if I take that attitude I'll be fat forever.... IT'S ONLY FOOD... happy Fridays all :)

velmadinkly · 21/03/2015 18:43

Well I'm really into a routine with the 7 minute fit dvd. I did creep up to nearly 11 stone, so I have been doing WW again this week. Hopefully I'll see a loss tomorrow morning. 16 weeks to my holidays where I will be wearing my bikini, so I want to make the best effort between now and then.

I don't normally drink diet fizzy drinks, but what has got me through this week is having a small glass of sugar free appleade. I think the bubbles fill me up and the sweetness fills a spot.

OP posts:
velmadinkly · 22/03/2015 09:53

3lb lost, so I'm back to what I was about a month ago. No exercise for me today, other than housework, so seeing as my hall floor needs a good wipe down and the stairs need vacuuming, that'll be a good workout for the upper body.

OP posts:
FjorGynAndHotWater · 23/03/2015 22:13

Well done for keeping up the exercise velma :) I am trying really hard to at least do my 10k steps, managing it so far but will be glad when clocks go forward as pedometer still on BST so resets at 11pm when I might be just trying to cram the last few in before bed...

Eating was so-so at the weekend and was +5 this morning so not good but not as bad as usual. And eaten a fair bit of chocolate today, but nothing else bad... so sort of in the zone!

SummerSazz · 24/03/2015 22:55

I've been doing 10k steps (19k on sat Shock) but not great on food.

Need to fit some proper exercise in as flabbing all over the place Hmm

FjorGynAndHotWater · 24/03/2015 23:12

13 8 this morning, fasting okish, did have a mini magnum after tea but that's not too many calories... main danger now is going out after work tomorrow for beer, will no doubt lead to snacking, and then an attempted fast with a hangover.... eek! Done 10k steps again though :)

FjorGynAndHotWater · 24/03/2015 23:16

Missed you there sazz, hello! 19k steps is very impressive Shock I bet your legs ached after that :D

It's only going on the train to work that gets me to 10k, I'll be buggered once I finally get a car park space

Luckoftheirish · 25/03/2015 09:02

Still here zumba ing away.gym closing for refurb for 6days starting nxt Wednesday so will be well and truly in trouble thenShock

FjorGynAndHotWater · 01/04/2015 22:17

Ok so that all went tits up again.... started with a slice of cake last Thursday and downhill ever since.... I have got so fed up I just bought some new dresses in a size 16 and the worst thing is the massive relief that something fits me again Blush deffo starting proper exercise next week but 26 hours to birthday weekend followed by easter so fuck it till Tuesday... Grin

loti I think you have gone to your villa? Hope you are having a fab time x

Luckoftheirish · 14/04/2015 08:58

HelloShockShockShockShockShockShock

We need a plan to get us ready for the summer hot mamas!!!!

SummerSazz · 15/04/2015 12:42

Hey Lotster - YES YES YES Grin Grin

Enough is enough. So am on a programme now - water, healthy eating, no drinking and as much exercise as poss. Waxing complete and day and night creams being applied and 8+ hours sleep.

Aiming to try and work less too but not confident about that one Hmm

I'm on day 5 today and had a 5k walk yesterday and 8.5k run today.

Not sure when I will bear to step on the scales but maybe Friday albeit the shock doesn't seem to have spurred me on over the last few months.

Will put a shout out on HT too Smile

Luckoftheirish · 15/04/2015 13:09

Hurrah for sazzGrinGrinGrinGrin well done being on day five Smile

I have upped the water back on the school run and going to zumba daily!need to break the nightly glass of wine and the mindless munching tho!

GiantGaspingSatanicCyst · 15/04/2015 14:06

Hello friends! Happy to join in (again). I have been doing okay, but need to get back to regular twice a week gymming. So am going tonight and tomorrow.

Handily I have somewhat gone off booze, especially after a rather indulgent Easter.

No weighing as yet, I hate the scales!
