I'm 5ft 2 and weigh 13st 11 and a size 16.
My youngest do is 7 in August and I feel like I cannot live this size anymore.prior to the dcs (age12,7 and 6) I was 10 st and still felt overweight.
It seems like I have gained approx 1st4lb for each of the dcs, I feel sick at the thought of the last 7 year I have been on a diet nearly every week and NEVER stick to it. :(
This is all going to change and I'm going to track my journey right here for all to see !
I have contemplated joining slimming world group but My shift patterns at work are very erratic and I couldn't make every meeting.
feel like I can do slimming world myself as I have all the books etc, however I'm aware there is a new plan on slimming world but if the old one works, then I shall be doing that.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips etc.
I am going shopping tomorrow so need to compile a list.
anyone want to join me in my journey ?
I'm going to Majorca in June, so 21 weeks to shift as much as possible.
Wish me luck.

1200 which combined with the excerise I have done this week 2 x couch to 5k and 2 DVDs at home probably hasn't been enough so my body has stored its fat rather than burning it.

Tomorrow is a new week though and I am going to start weighing on a Friday morning rather than a Sunday.

There's no way I could cope on 1200 cals Blush

Well I'm still battling on, weigh in tomorrow. Been pretty good.
Hoping for a loss of at least 1lb !

I had a wobbly week last week, nothing major but a couple of unavoidable meals out with no menu choice and parties. Back on track now will weigh in on Monday. Hope everyone keeping at it.

bryonyelf · 30/01/2015 12:33

I have switched this week to trying 5:2. Was becoming too focussed on calories and not eating enough. Re-addressing what I was eating (things like beans on toad for breakfast) and I am now trying to eat mainly protein during the day. So far so good. Cheeky weight in this morning (48 hours early) was showing a weight loss of 3lb. Going out for lunch tomorrow for DHs brother though so need to keep an eye on things.

Zazzabeans · 01/02/2015 18:55

Hey,, how's everyone doing.
Have had an awful weekend and had a night out last night, so need stodge today. Blush
So expected a gain this week.
Really don't want this thread to be a waste of time as this is something I need to do !!

Sorry you have not had a good week zazza. Tomorrow is a new day so try again.

My switch to5:2 has had good results this week. Will keep working at it. My couch to 5k is also coming along quite well.

Hi, would you mind if I joined into this? I'm bout 5ft2 and a size 16. I really wanna loose a couple of dress sizes for the summer. I've not weighed myself but I know its not gonna be a good weigh in lol. I don't follow anything but I'm gonna try not to snack and also stop eating from about 7.30pm until morning. In way of exercise I've only been doing a few weights a night and hopefully going to start the DVDs soon :/ I've got 2 kids and m.s so sometimes its hard to motivate myself or have energy to do anything anyway.....I just need to tone up and get rid of a few stone....any ideas are welcome to help me get up and actually do something about it :)

bryonyelf · 04/02/2015 13:12

I purposely bought DVD's that are quick Loulabell. I got Josie Gibsons 30 second slim which takes 20 minutes all in and I have ordered the new Davina 7 minute one which is getting great reviews.

Because I have a mainly desk job a lot of my day means I am pretty inactive in terms of walking and it is impossible to increase it but I do my best and every little bit does help.

loulabell67 · 04/02/2015 13:17

I know what you mean as I'm office based too, you really can't do anything sitting down. I have got the gosie Gibson DVD and did it last year for a while but sometimes just the thought of it knackers me out lol. I am going to do it tonight!!!! That's the plan anyway lol

Zazzabeans · 04/02/2015 16:50

Ladies I feel like a fraud ! Looking back on this thread, it's been a month tomorrow and all I have lost is 2lb Blush
I have let myself down big style, I'm fed u p and im craving stodge, not sure if it's because its the totm or I'm greedy.
I can't give u, I need to do this :(

loulabell67 · 04/02/2015 18:14

Don't worry zazzabeans, we all loose track and you've still lost 2lb :) which is a whole lot more than I have.....all I do is put lbs (stones) on!!
I have no advice really other than tomorrows a new day, onwards and upwards.
Ive eaten rubbish today and dinner was a bowl of cereal because I didn't want what everyone else was having but I just know come 8pm I'm gonna be starving an reach for the treat cupboard.
I have to find a way of getting some will power from somewhere. I find that food is the answer to all my moods, good or bad! I have to find away of getting out of that habit too.
Sorry for rambling Confused

Zazzabeans · 04/02/2015 19:28

Dont apologise :)
I think I'm going to try and do calorie counting, iv came to the conclusion that I'm far too lazy to cook from scratch to be doing slimming world and I'm bored with the usual stuff.
So calorie counting tomorrow and onwards.
