I'm 5ft 2 and weigh 13st 11 and a size 16.
My youngest do is 7 in August and I feel like I cannot live this size anymore.prior to the dcs (age12,7 and 6) I was 10 st and still felt overweight.
It seems like I have gained approx 1st4lb for each of the dcs, I feel sick at the thought of the last 7 year I have been on a diet nearly every week and NEVER stick to it. :(
This is all going to change and I'm going to track my journey right here for all to see !
I have contemplated joining slimming world group but My shift patterns at work are very erratic and I couldn't make every meeting.
feel like I can do slimming world myself as I have all the books etc, however I'm aware there is a new plan on slimming world but if the old one works, then I shall be doing that.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips etc.
I am going shopping tomorrow so need to compile a list.
anyone want to join me in my journey ?
I'm going to Majorca in June, so 21 weeks to shift as much as possible.
Wish me luck.

Hi zazza and imnot I'm poorly too and finding it hard to resist temptation today. I have succeeded so far and trying to distract myself until dinner.

I'm using mfp and realised today that my favourite stir in pasta sauce is almost 300 calories per serving Shock. That's almost more than the pasta I have been putting it on! I need to find a good substitute so will be either making my own or studying jars at the supermarket.

Are we all weighing in on Monday?

Still doing well :)
Although did go to mils today for Sunday dinnner and choc cake!
Feeling a lot better and still feeling very positive regarding keeping on track, I can do this ! I WILL succeed :)
Yes weigh in on Monday, I have resisted temptation all week to have a sneaky weigh but haven't :)
Oh dear ten what kind of sauce is it ?
imnot I think you should still see a loss with cutting out white foods! Fingers crossed :)
Good luck for weigh in tomorrow :)

Well done Zazza. That's a good weight loss. Don't do what I do and start celebrating and fall off the wagon.

I like Mfp for the shock factor when you realise a little bit of this , that and the other does have xxxxx calories in.

If I over treat myself I'll record the calories Get to 1200 and stop eating.

They might not be the healthiest calories in the world but at least they won't be followed by more of the little buggas! Lol

Have a good day everyone. Remember, you wear what you eat!

Zazzabeans · 12/01/2015 09:09

Thanksdowser when are you weighing in ?
I have been guilty in the past of celebrating a weight loss too.
Well no more, I am more focused now.
I NEED to do this.
Off out for lunch today with dh, looking at menus online !

Also lost 2lb. Down to 13 st 12.
Has anyone watched the Horizon program today on dieting. Really good, although all that talking about food made me hungry! If you google 'BBC right diet' and take the test it will predict which diet will work best for you. I am supposed to be doing 5:2!

Zazzabeans · 13/01/2015 08:32
Flowers Well done everyone Grin Little losses=big results in the long run Grin

Never saw the programme, but will google to see which diet I should be on!

Well I have it all planned today.
Homemade veg soup with bread for lunch
Fruit and a piece of cheese
And chicken stir fry for tea (bought the m&s stir fry for £6) so will syn the sauce, sharing with my DS and dh will be at work and dds won't eat it :(
Going to try and stick to it religiously this week as had a few blips last week and still lost.
I went out yesterday for lunch with dh, ended up having a steak and onion sandwich (on brown) but a pile of chips Blush

Urgh, Just weighed myself and I've only lost 1lb. Well I suppose its a step in a right direction.

I knew I hadn't lost much as I haven't really been doing it properly, just cutting out the crap and went for a few half hearted runs. But this week I've got all my meals planned out and I've signed up for some fitness classes for a change. I'll soon be in the swing of things.

Well done everyone. This week will be a good week for us all I hope Wink

Zazzabeans · 13/01/2015 17:33

zazza aerobics tomorrow, Pillates on Thurs and zumba on Monday. I've bought a months pass at the local council leisure centre. I'm hoping spending some money will motivate me into shifting my ass into gear.

Zazzabeans · 13/01/2015 20:12

samesize your going to be busy this week Grin
you will be a size zero before long haha.
I paid a bit for my vibroplate so need to make sure I use it also :)

Definitely get straight back on the wagon zazza Grin dh has booked an afternoon tea for us on Sunday. I'm going to try to just have a little of everything but if I don't I'm not going to beat myself up.

I have just done my pilates for the day. I had to lie on my mat for a couple of minutes to recover it was a serious workout. I really recommend Blogilates you download a free monthly plan and follow the youtube videos. It's only 30 minutes a day but I can already see and feel a difference.

Mumstudentbum · 15/01/2015 15:13

I'm almost 31 and I'm 15st. I'm tall and broad and didn't realise how much my weight had crept up lately! I have 3 dcs 12, 7 and 4

Zazzabeans · 15/01/2015 18:29

Welcome mum

Back on track today. Got some leek and potato soup in the pan for tomorrow.
Will be having jacket pot for tea with beans and cheese :)
