Weight loss journey of a 31 year old starting mon 5th jan 2015.

I'm 5ft 2 and weigh 13st 11 and a size 16.
My youngest do is 7 in August and I feel like I cannot live this size anymore.prior to the dcs (age12,7 and 6) I was 10 st and still felt overweight.
It seems like I have gained approx 1st4lb for each of the dcs, I feel sick at the thought of the last 7 year I have been on a diet nearly every week and NEVER stick to it. :(
This is all going to change and I'm going to track my journey right here for all to see !
I have contemplated joining slimming world group but My shift patterns at work are very erratic and I couldn't make every meeting.
feel like I can do slimming world myself as I have all the books etc, however I'm aware there is a new plan on slimming world but if the old one works, then I shall be doing that.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips etc.
I am going shopping tomorrow so need to compile a list.
anyone want to join me in my journey ?
I'm going to Majorca in June, so 21 weeks to shift as much as possible.

I have done so much housework today , my back is killing me. Just took 2 codeine with another can of Pepsi max, I'm addicted to pepsi max !! Only got a few cans left before I start in the diet Pepsi (asda had no max yesterday ha)
Iv got a 12 hour shift at work tomorow aswell :( cba at all,

samesize bet you were over the moon you didn't weigh as much as you thought! I would have been :)

nic well done with the juice plus, I couldn't do it as I'm too greedy, did I read somewhere there is an alternative in tablet\capsule form ?

Can I join too! I am probably the heaviest here and the heaviest I have ever been, even including during pregnancy. I am a size 18 and almost 14 stone :( I have terrible habits. Most evenings I sit and snack and knit or watch TV so it is time for a change! Am planning to use Wii fit and My Fitness pal app to start. I am off out for a curry tonight and going to try to find the least fattening dish. Any tips?

Zazzabeans there is a tablet form it has the same vitamins and goodness just in a tablet instead of milkshake have a look at the juice-plus website you can order from there or Facebook.

Well I have just done 30 day shred there is a reason I never used it before I'm aching all over- my legs are killing must of done some good.

On Amazon there is 30 day shred plus 2 other workouts on same dvd for 8.99 just in case anyone was thinking of ordering it.

Sounds like you're all on track. I had a good day. Weetabix for breakfast, poached eggs on toast for lunch and salmon, couscous and salad for dinner. Had enough calories for a packet of crisps too.

Just completed day two of the blogilates beginners month. Ouch! On the plus side I can feel stomach muscles I forgot I had Wink

There's a link to Dr Davis and wheatbelly on there or just google it.

You could lose quite a bit of weight in your first week by cutting out wheat.

Have a look.

Was up through the night 4 times for the loo , so must be doing good Grin
However I had an awful feeling of being sick last night, i awash in d and suddenly woke up and I rushed to the loo, tmi but my mouth was filling with water like it does when your going to be sick. I wasn't sick but it subsided after few minutes, was awful though.
I'm on a dreaded 12 hour shift today, and will definetly be taking spstuff to eat from home, havnt got anything prepared but sure I can find something,

couch how did the curry go? What did you opt for in the end ?
nic I thinkits just the though of not being able to eat certain things that puts me off up, well done on the 30 day shred Smile I lent my friends insanity DVDs a while back, I lasted 2 days !!!

dowser I think i read an article once about Dr DAvis and the wheat, think I read e lady lost 8lb in first week! (Don't quote me )

Curry was lovely, I had Tarka Dahl and plain rice. I dont know the calories but its mainly lentils so all good I think. I also walked the kids to school and then went back for the car to drive to work instead of dropping them on the way. Hope you feel better Zazza :(

Hope you feel better Zazza Blogilates is a youtube channel with Pilates classes on, it is great. I'm just about to do day three

I wasn't hungry at breakfast today so had half a banana, then beans on toast for lunch. Olives for a snack then a fish cake, new potatoes and broccoli for dinner. I don't feel hungry at all which is great and still have some calories if I get puckish later.

Not much wxcercise as been on a long shift, but aim to do some tomorrow.

Hi everyone well yesterday was ok did juice plus for breakfast, had soup for lunch then chicken stir fry for tea.
If you go on myfitnesspal.com you can register and put what you weigh what you want to weigh, you can also do a food diary so you can see what your eating its really good. Hope day 3 goes ok for everyone.

Have had really weird bowel noises through the night.
Yesterday's menu

Ham,mushroom,onion omelts made with 28g cheese, salad and beans,
Half a punnet of grapes
2 satsumas
5 boiled sweets (5syns)
Jacket potato beans and salad coleslaw (4syns)
Banana,Apple,satsuma
3 Cadbury roses (9syns)
Didn't have a healthy b and went over on syns only because I was at work and there was boat loads of chocs to finish Blush couldn't resist, even though we have loads in the house that I'm not bothered about.

Day 3 come at me !!!! Grin

Zazza have you radically changed your diet by eating way more fruit and veg and maybe even beans than before.

It could be your body reacting to the new changes. Maybe smaller portions of those until your body gets used to it.

Yes, never used to eat much fruit. So maybe that.

Have just made a huge pan of veg and pasta soup all free on slimming world, thinking of having that for lunch :)

Day 3 going good. Had a huge bowl of soup with paste added for lunch and my brown bread ( healthy b)
Dcs are having macaroni cheese for tea so I think I will have some pasta with grated cheese on top (healthy a) not very exciting but very tasty.
Also ate a boat load of fruit. Grin
Peeing loads aswell.
Have my syns left for later !!

I had a kitkat today. But I'm not beating myself up about it cos it was only 1 kitkat and not 2 or 4 like it usually is.

I've not had any coffee or tea for 3 days now, I can't drink either without sugar so I'm just cutting it out and drinking water or mint tea. But the mornings are a bit of a killer without the caffeine so I'm looking for an alternative pick me up.

Hi everyone well day 3 complete I've done well but found out today they have brought my operation forward to Monday I will be carrying on over weekend but then may go quiet hopefully will loose some weight I will be in too much pain to eat.

Had a poorl ds home yesterday which meant I didn't have the best day. I really need to work on boredom eating! I stayed in my calories but there was more rubbish than there should have been.

I have started today with porridge and am hopefully back on track! Good luck everyone!

Day 4 done and dusted, went well :)
I am eating lots and lots of fruit and veg which I would never normally do.
I am absolutely hating the diet Pepsi so might need to convert back to max [grin ]

Well today I have been slightly off plan today because I am ill with the flu :(
Ate lunch at 3 o'clock then consumed a ridiculous amount of haribo jellies and 2 treat size chocolate bars.
I have also been shopping and stocked up on lots of free food (as per slimming world)
