Same as yesterday.
I just braved the scales.

Strange. But good!

TheHoundsBitch · 12/09/2014 13:27

I am so freakin' hungry today. I had a wrap for lunch breaking my low carb plan and I'm not sure I can keep to 800cals today, I might have 1200 just for today.
Feeling very weird and emotional today, had a big cry earlier. AF due next week and the news about those poor dogs in Manchester has really upset me along with the general relentlessness of seeing so many dogs in rescue that we can't help. :(
Also tricky school mum situation is still ongoing, I haven't done anything wrong and nor has DS, but I still have knots in my stomach about it all.
I'd like to dive into a big plate of sweet potato fries now please.

coffeeinbed · 12/09/2014 13:29

A mint tea might help you from hitting the fries, Hounds.

I'm about to make a mug of the Transit one.

coffeeinbed · 12/09/2014 13:30

And I must have opened the chocolate drawer and stared at that G&B quite a few times but managed to restrain myself.

TheHoundsBitch · 12/09/2014 13:33

Good idea coffee, I'll go make one now.

TheHoundsBitch · 12/09/2014 13:34

I got picked for the BEAR Alphabites test and the chocolate ones are calling me... DS would not be impressed if I ate them!

flightywoman · 12/09/2014 13:35

Duncan appears to have left the building! But I had a relatively healthy lunch - hummus, tomatoes and celery. MFP has scored it at 190 calories overall, and fewer carbs than the fruit I had on Wednesday. So, y'know, I don't feel too worried about this.

I think I've had a really good kick-start to get me feeling positive and optimistic.

coffee would it help you think in terms of 21 rather than 7 - 21 separate meals a week Vs 7 days - you had one instance out of 21 where you feel you failed...

coffeeinbed · 12/09/2014 13:38

Oh I don't know...
I think the proportion this week might not have been 1 to 21, to be very honest.
Grin

Will try harder next week.

Fuckalella · 12/09/2014 13:46

Another pound off today! Think the pitiful amount of food I consumed yesterday helped - buying clothes that are too small must be the way forward Grin

Thanks for asking Fava, interview didn't go too badly although it is for a position in a field I have no experience in so it depends if they feel like taking the risk with me. Would be a great job to get though, should find out next week.

Victrix, that recipe sounds good. Perfect use for the overripe bananas sitting in the fruit bowl!

Victrix · 12/09/2014 16:22

I have been known to "accidentally" leave bananas to get too ripe to eat thus forcing me to make this cake. Partly the reason I'm on this thread Grin

Pssst Hounds - meet Bruiser Grin

SLIMTEMBER: Duncan from blue and tea that makes you poo
FavadiCacao · 12/09/2014 16:41

Fingers crossed, Lella. :)

Tesla and Bruiser look very 'cool', the sort of scales one doesn't mind looking at! They win the gold medal too, as star slitherers! Grin

2kidsintow · 12/09/2014 18:05

I'm not restricting madly, but must be getting used to eating less. It's my day off and I went with a friend for lunch out. A chicken wrap (not huge) with a handful of chips. I couldn't eat all of it and 5 hours after finishing it I still feel stuffed.

Victrix · 12/09/2014 18:08

I'm thinking a snake-style eating plan could be the way forward. Eat a meal bigger than your head once a week and spend most of your time sleeping. You will be pure muscle and very slender Grin

TheHoundsBitch · 12/09/2014 18:31

Bruiser is gooorgeous! I like the sound of the snake diet...

I am having a cheat meal tonight, I am firmly in the 'fuck it' (PMT) head space this evening. If I allow myself something now hopefully I won't be lusting all weekend and fall off the wagon completely, I've only eaten 450 cals so far today so even if I eat 1000 cals tonight I won't be doing too badly!

flightywoman · 12/09/2014 18:50

Duncan has taken the bus out of town! I had spag bol for supper, 75 grams of pasta (dry weight), sprinkle of parmesan, lovely bolognese. And a bit of chocolate cake for pudding. Day's total is a shade over 1000 calories.

I feel very very happy, haven't been hungry all day or obsessing about food.

It's a good place to be!

FavadiCacao · 12/09/2014 18:57

Snake style eating Hmm A rabbit, maybe two sounds delicious; squirrels (bushy tail rats) are yummy but I draw the line at mice. Grin

snake diet Shock Hide the lil'uns, Victrix and pass the cake to Hounds! Grin

Victrix · 12/09/2014 19:08

I am referring only to the size of the meal in proportion to the person as snake-like, you lot can eat rodents if you want Grin

I'll even allow cutlery rather than just swallowing it whole since we humans bothered to grow useful limbs and appendages Grin

TheHoundsBitch · 12/09/2014 19:17

I am having KFC, DDDH has gone to get it, by god I love that man Grin

TheHoundsBitch · 12/09/2014 19:17

The snakes are safe... for now Shock

frankie5 · 12/09/2014 19:24

Ok I've done it! Down to 10s3 and lost 5 pounds in 13 days!!! However, got too cocky today and have eated a lot (chocolate and crisps too Shock) so I'll see what I am tomorrow. Got a wedding tomorrow so I'm happy that my dress won't be too tight.

FavadiCacao · 12/09/2014 19:29

Years and years ago, a friend had a python that I watched growing from a tiny baby, which could barely fit a mouse in its mouth, to a huge snake which happily enjoyed plump rabbits (the dogs were kept well away from the snake!). I'm sure the snake in question would have loved a family bucket bit of KFC. :)

Well done frankie, enjoy the wedding. :)

Laundryangel · 12/09/2014 20:48

I have had a spectacular fall off the wagon. It is as though since OP confessed her weight had gone up again, I should do the same. Yesterday was planned indulgence. Today was supposed to be a fast day which has just gone horribly, horribly wrong. Back on it tomorrow!
Frowny - do my pools local to you, even if not your local pool, have those mini crane things with a seat attached which can lower those with restricted mobility into the pool?

Victrix · 12/09/2014 21:20

Woo, well done frankie!

I had chicken in nandos marinade. Mmmm.

Luckily Bruiser is a royal python rather than a Burmese so he won't get too big Grin

frownyface · 13/09/2014 12:21

Im another 3 lbs off this morning, just hoping to sustain it til monday for my 'official' weekly weigh in :)

I am going for the snake diet approach and not having much at all during the day (lots of water and a couple of rich tea biscuits here and there), then having a big evening meal. Seems to be working and im not ravenous during the day at all, if i find myself thinking of raiding the cubourds i try to do something with my hands to keep me busy-for me thats playing on the piano (badly) cross stitching (also badly) and reading ( even i can manage reading ok!).

Today is going to be tough, I have a b day party to go to with my son and takeaway indian this eve! I have been well under my limit on MFP all week so heres hoping the curry wont do too much damage!

2 days to get through before my weigh in, hope you are all getting on ok, weekends are so tough for keeping to plan!

laundry the local pools do but i find it hard enough being big and and an amputee without drawing even more attention to myself! Also they all have weight limits and i dont like to ask as they are normally pretty high but my weight is also v high :( once iv lost a few stone i will be more confident i think (and hope). Hope you are having a better day than yesturday-weekends are so bloody hard.

frownyface · 13/09/2014 12:22

Oh dear sorry about the many exclamation marks
