“I ate his liver with some bean beans and a nice chianti”

Not the same, is it? Grin

FavadiCacao · 09/09/2014 23:05

Victrix, indeed!:) In Italian broad bean is just fava but I think fava is the seed (and the name of the plant). In the pod it could be described as a baccello di fava. (baccello being the skin). Grin

Coffee, we can't have you being dizzy from lack of eating. I believe you can eat fave di caffe' in bed as they apparently have slimming properties. Grin

FavadiCacao · 09/09/2014 23:07

Victrix, the mask could come handy!Grin

TwoTonTessie · 10/09/2014 05:27

2lb loss today. Not bad as it was chicken and steak day yesterday Grin
Good luck again today everyone.

WaitingForMe · 10/09/2014 08:06

3lb loss for me so far on Duncan diet and as Tesse said, it's really not that bad.

My biggest struggle is DS. He's a very active toddler and eats about 7 times a day. Lots of nibbly stuff like cheese, cucumber and cracker plates, bowls of fruit salad (that's ok this week), a pot of pasta in the fridge in a tomato and cream sauce... Before him I had a pretty strict fridge.

Victrix · 10/09/2014 08:12

Well done losers Grin

Fav the mask would be a well good weight loss tool. Plus when people ask how you are losing weight you can freak them out by saying you were inspired by Hannibal Lecter.

FavadiCacao · 10/09/2014 08:48

Wednesday SMD menu...Lamb Hmm...it's very quiet round here! Grin

Well done Tessie and Wainting.
0.3kg loss here...a consistant number from the new scales (aka 666) and it's ~0.666 lb! Grin

Victrix · 10/09/2014 09:36

Shock at your satanic scales

I'm having lamb too. In a curry.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 10/09/2014 10:20

SORRY FOR UNATHOURISED ABSENCE! As you can provably guess, no posts = eating. Back to 10st 10 this morning. (Eye roll at self.)

Will post more later. I promise!

Well done on 29" shorts, 5lbs off, lovely likely crabby recipes and races run! You're all brilliant. And that droll comment about Hounds' tea really mad me lol. :)

Day 4 in the Duncan house.

I had a smudge of marmite on the dry toast and some grapf**it juice.

And I've also had about 15ml of milk to test whether it was off.

Eggs tonight, luckily I like them.

I do think the "it's chemical/chemistry" is total bollocks though. It's just a VLCD with no fat and almost no carbs.

No slithery effects from Pukka Cleanse.

Am I going to get into ketosis this week?

GobblersKnob · 10/09/2014 11:08

Already burnt nearly 800 calories and its only just eleven Grin

TheHoundsBitch · 10/09/2014 12:37

I'm trying to be productive today, and so I went to go and get some bits from the shed to put on fb selling page. A little great big spider ran up my leg, so I am now safely back to messing about on the internets. How many calories do squealing and running away from the shed burn?

GobblersKnob · 10/09/2014 12:48

Oh about a million Wink

Bastard spider season, they keep coming in on the washing, causing me to shriek and shudder.

Am ebaying too large clothes, hurrah! If I sell 'em then I can never go back as I will have nothing to wear.

coffeeinbed · 10/09/2014 12:48

11st 04 today.

Working from home but the house is clawing with builders, so can't be snacking.
It also sadly means I won't be risking the Transit tea.

Lucked · 10/09/2014 13:07

Bastard spiders!!

12st7 exactly today which is 1/2 a pound down but it is more than I deserve as my halo is well and truly tarnished after a 400cal teacake in costa yesterday. It was amazing.

Feeling positive today.

Globblers well done on getting rid of stuff that doesn't fit, no going back.

I have manage to fit into my size 14 work trousers which will save me money as I go back to work next week. When I hit a 12 I am going to buy a whole new wardrobe, I can't wait!

FavadiCacao · 10/09/2014 13:28

Welcome back, Whats. :)

Spiders are huge this year. With all the adrenaline you have to produce to scream and run, I'll say it's a good hour of cardio worth of calories, Hounds Grin

Lunch was yummy. I chose to have 250g of tomatoes as my seasonal fruit (=1/2 grapefruit) today, so I could lightly poached salmon in fennel and tomatoes with garlic and chilli and a dusting of lemon zest; served over rocket and fennel salad.

TheHoundsBitch · 10/09/2014 13:31

Glad I've burnt off a million calories, because the scales aren't budging Angry
I've been sorting through DS's old clothes and got a bit emo :( I think I've come to the realisation that we probably won't have any more and it's a bit hard to deal with.
On the plus side we are getting a puppy, so I can baby that instead!

Victrix · 10/09/2014 13:49

The spiders in my house are massive...well, the bits I've found are massive. The cat deals with them for me.

What kind of dog are you getting, Hounds???

Fav, gies yer lunch. Ta!

I am fuelled by tea and tea alone today. Tetley, not shitter.

FavadiCacao · 10/09/2014 13:52

Hounds Flowers
Puppies are very cute, do you have a particular one in mind?

TheHoundsBitch · 10/09/2014 14:03

Not sure yet! We've registered with some rescues so it depends what comes up, we want medium sized and short coated but aren't too worried beyond that!
Your lunch sounds good fav!

Victrix · 10/09/2014 14:55

Yay! Just had a phone call to arrange delivery of my new scaly baby on Friday! If you don't like snakes your enthusiasm may be limited Grin

I have bananas to use up. This (Plus the fact that after about a fornight of PMT I have FINALLY fallen to the Communists) means gluten free choc chip banana loaf.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 10/09/2014 14:57

Get a cocker spaniel! My mum has always had them, and they are adorable!

I'm free as a bird, commitment-wise, and should be going to the gym. Yep, any minute now, gym, that's it, any minute now...

OH GOD I AM SO HUNGRY!

I had a teaspoon of sweetener in an espresso earlier, it's left a horrid taste in my mouth [yuck]
