II can easily say no to ice cream, doughnuts and crisps.

But a crab with some nice crusty bread and good mayo. And some wine.
No. No way. That's me done with any diet.

MissionSlimpossible · 08/09/2014 20:23

Shitbuggeryfuck I am RUBBISH. I seem to have lost the knack of Crash Dieting.

To be fair we've had visitors all weekend with meals out, takeaways, many, many beverages of the alcoholic variety so it's been hard.

But I am seriously SHIT at this.

I used to be BRILLIANT at it.

Victrix · 08/09/2014 20:57

If you can see a weird glow on the horizon it's my halo getting brighter... Grin

PrimalLass · 08/09/2014 22:00

Am so tired, and about to go to bed. That's not at all like me, so I'm hoping it's because I've had a good fast day. Once I was in bed by 9.30 on a fast day with a jumper over my pjs and extra blankets.

Food:
Several milky coffees
Several shitter teas (no joy)
1 chocolate mini milk
Chili con carne with califlower rice and asparagus

Every time I have asparagus I get excited that I am in ketosis and then remember that it is just asparagus wee.

WyrdByrd · 08/09/2014 22:57

Were the PJs and blankets for warmth or to restrict your movement to put you off getting up and heading for the fridge?!

Just back from the gym for the first time in 7 weeks and it was bloody hard work. I'd been doing well so upped the duration & intensity of my programme just before I stopped going - massive shock to the system but 400 cals burnt so hopefully worth the effort.

Came home & treated myself to a couple of crabsticks & a Mr Freeze lolly...rock 'n' roll Grin !

PrimalLass · 08/09/2014 23:17

Ha, both! No, I was freezing. Can't get it to work that well again Sad

Well done on the gym. I must stick some ice poles in the freezer too.

TwoTonTessie · 09/09/2014 05:37

Day 2 - 3lb loss this morning Grin
Eating the grapefruit is hard and I am weeing like a horse but I am determined to stick to the diet all week.
Good luck today everyone.

PrimalLass · 09/09/2014 07:22

Well done Tessie.

2lb off for me. Back to 11.4. Out all day, although that includes Ikea for cake and coffee. Tempted to have the cooked breakfast instead as won't have time for lunch.

FavadiCacao · 09/09/2014 07:32

It's more like full beam from here, Victrix! Grin

Well done WyrdByrd and Tessie.

FavadiCacao · 09/09/2014 07:51

666 Scales has made itself at home and it happily replaced Mad scales. It is very stable in telling me the weight but it just randomly generates %s. When it thinks am person 1, it tells me I have 10% more fat (and 10% less water) than when it thinks I'm person 4! [confunsed] Hmm Grin
I forgot to weigh myself this morning! After two large coffees I'm the same as yesterday.

WyrdByrd · 09/09/2014 07:52

Cheers Favadi.

Btw I am in awe of the meals you rustle up...and I say that as an enthusiastic amateur cook with a chef for a DH!

I love fish & seafood - my major downfall at the beginning of the hols was when DH decided to makes moules mariniere with tiger bread & butter one day.

Don't suppose that works on any diet sadly...

flightywoman · 09/09/2014 07:53

No change from yesterday, but the shittertea has had no effect so...

Day 3 beckons, and I am looking forward to fruit!

FavadiCacao · 09/09/2014 08:46

Thank you, Byrd. :)

Whats are you OK? In your honour:

^There once was a lot of tea
One for a poo, one for a pee
Along came a weigher daily
With a diet of figs she tried gayly
And so it was that Slimtember
Was a month that her bowels remember^

Lucked · 09/09/2014 09:06

Well done Primal and Tessie.

Mission you will get your old cash diet mojo back soon, I am sure.

Scales stable but last week I stuck for ages then lost at the end of the week so carrying on.

Souper · 09/09/2014 09:15

Well done to all losers. My scales are stable this morning despite being really good yesterday. Never mind, I will work hard today too and hopefully see the 11s by the end of the week. (Hopeful and deluded)

OkyDoke · 09/09/2014 09:44

Saw the twelve's this morning! Now just to hope I stay there and possibly another pound before my official weekly weigh in at Fat Club (Slimming World). Another cup of fennel tea I think! Bleurgh!

GobblersKnob · 09/09/2014 10:50

God, sorry, missed loads.

to everyone.

Huge high fives to the losers Grin

Am still on it, have been feeling really down, don't know if it the diet/ exercise or my imminent return to uni and the dissertation that looms on the horizon (probably the later tbh).

Anyway, am keeping on with the exercise, am shredding, hooping and power walking 8-9 miles a day, trying to stay below 1200, (after exercise iyswim).

Highlight of last week was buying denim shorts from Gap with a 29" massively vanity sized waist, have lost quite a few inches, but need to brave the scales soon.

Drinking water like there is no tomorrow and also pissing like a carthorse, long walks and full bladders are not great companions!

Victrix · 09/09/2014 13:18

I hear you on the water drinking. I've never been so hydrated.

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 09/09/2014 13:21

I want a halo too, Victrix.

Will award myself one if I lose 3lbs by the end of this week.

Laundryangel · 09/09/2014 13:53

Hello all. I've been lurking (and laughing) for the past week and have lost 5lbs. A huge relief as it means I am no longer blown up like a beach ball as I was at the end of the holiday and as I have a healthy BMI again which was always my goal for DC1 starting school which happened yesterday. Yippee! Goal continues to be to get down into the mid/high 9st so that I have a bit of a buffer for being within my healthy BMI and because I should make some inroads into my waist measurement which continues to indicate ill health later in life. If I continue at this rate, I'll manage it by the end of the month! Half term is my more realistic goal.
I've drunk lemon & water and the Pukka teas for years and have not noticed it have any effect on my bowel movements. I was getting quite jealous of all of you merely buying the stuff and having to dash to the nearest toilets. I have now stopped drinking any of those things in case it was somehow having the opposite effect on me and am drinking coffee instead. Bowel movements are now much more regular!

TheHoundsBitch · 09/09/2014 16:22

I'm just infusing my first shittertea... dun dun duuuunnnn!
It's a Dr. Stewarts Detox one and it smells gopping like grass cuttings.
All the 'slim me' ones were over a fiver and I'm a tight arse, so Dr. S it is.

Victrix · 09/09/2014 16:47

Mmmm, grass cuttings.... Grin

It's actually much easier to diet when you do your food shop online. When you add loads of chocolate in a food rage you can go back and delete it when you've calmed down!

TheHoundsBitch · 09/09/2014 17:12

uuuurrrrgh. it's fucking horrible Envy I can't even finish it, there is some kind of weird sweet stuff coating the back of my throat Confused

WyrdByrd · 09/09/2014 18:13

Was 1lb down again this morning so that's 3lb off now. Tuesday is my long day at work though which is difficult. I took a whole meal pitta & some crab sticks to go with the hummus & veg.

Also succumbed to a tiny (about 1") square of millionaires shortbread and about 4 spoons of chicken & veg risotto which had found its way to the staff room when the kids didn't finish it all at lunch Blush .

So, not great but just having marinated chicken and salad for dinner so hopefully will even itself out.

FavadiCacao · 09/09/2014 18:57

Thanks muchly, Victrix. The glow is so beautiful now. :) Found my halo and it's regaining some lustre, especially having discovered I didn't cheat last night! (Scarsdale book here and read)

TheHounds, it sounds horrible! note to self: no grass cuttings brew Have the taste and coating gone now?

Well done on your weight loss, Byrd. :)

l4k Flowers How are you feeling? How did your op go?
