Hello everyone. I'm not going to even attempt any personals as it's all move d so fast since my last post. Suffice to say, sorry to hear of those troubled by life events.

DCs back at school today so should be a bit easier to sort out food. Gosh, I really missed them today.

I'm shattered. I had a shitter tea before bed last night and I was wide awake. It felt like I drank a jug of coffee. Anyone else experience this ? I normally sleep like a log.

Then DD found her way into our bed. I think she was anxious about school. She had some kind of nightmare later which woke me up just as dawn was rising.

The tea did work this morning but not as dramatic as some!

In the morning confusion I forgot to weigh myself. After falling off the wagon so spectacularly in Maccy D's on Monday I'm not following a plan. Just eating less. Whenever I fancy something carby I've been mumbling ' get thee behind me satan' like a loon. Curiously, it's worked Blush

Well done to everyone losing the lbs. I'm loving the recipe talk too.

My 2 kgs of Epsom salts have arrived so I'm going to try a bath tonight.

Has anyone else heard of Albolene? I stumbled across it yesterday and it's a facial cleanser that can be used for targeted water weight loss. I was browsing a skin care blog and the blogger used Albolene to cleanse which I hadn't ever heard of , googled it ..... Srsly! I was agog. Boxers use it to lose lbs before weigh ins. So maybe we need one of those shrink wrapping machines, get wrapped up after liberal application of Albolene and sweat it off. Perhaps en masse in a church hall somewhere? And then YouTube ourselves.

Matildasmam22 · 04/09/2014 16:43

I'm trying Epsom tonight deux off to google Albolene now Grin

Deux · 04/09/2014 16:51

Albolene is totes bizarre. There was me googling skin care solutions and I ended up sucked into you tube vids of people slathering on Albolene and wrapping themselves in cling film.

As soon as I read about it I had to share it with my fellow rebels.

We can have an Epsom salts bath review tomorrow.

Oh this thread is ace.

I have 4st to lose and every diet book going.

I am going to be doing intermittent ww combined with intervals of slim and save (vlc hell) and I might break out the cabbage soup diet again.

Why don't they make slimming pills anymore like in Jilly Cooper books?

Anyway, I want my thin legs. Going to buy some shitter tea tomorrow after work.

Victrix · 04/09/2014 18:37

Ladies.

A warning.

If you have drunk more Shittertea than you are supposed to.

DO NOT SNEEZE

I feel conned by these Epsom salts soaked for an hour and haven't magically lost 3 stone

Hi itsfab

WhatsGoingOnEh · 04/09/2014 20:06

LOLOLOL at the fart updates! I've had a cup of Pukka Detox every night before bed and although I'm not slithering more than usual, I've noticed my slithers smell EVIL. Like, gateway-to-Hell evil.

Anyway! Couldn't do Scarsdale today as I went for a work lunch meeting and the waitress refused Hmm to do plain chicken and salad, despite plain chicken AND salad both being on the effing menu albeit in separate meals. So I had plain grilled fish and ignored the potatoes. I did nick a chip off a colleague's plate though. And had 5 Mikado sticks later. That's only 55 calories though. I had today's Scarsdale lunch for tea - two boiled eggs, while everyone else ate my Dad's world class Spag Bol.

My stomach is MASSIVE and I am alternately crying and shouting. Sore boobs, irrational, feel hideous... Definitely PMT.

I'm so VERY insane today that hopefully it'll come tomorrow. I always get the Slithers with it so the pounds will be flying off! Sorry! Sorry for all of this!

You're all brilliant and I love you. :)

'Chicken and pepper all'arrabiata' was a resounding succes with every one and it took next to no time to prepare too! Grin
{Ingredients: Chicken thinly sliced; peppers oven roasted whole, peeled, deseeded, sliced; lemon juice; garlic; chilli; and freshly chooped rue (similar to tarragon in taste). All dry stirfried.}

Itsfab · 04/09/2014 20:14

Hi MatildasMam. Funnily enough my second oldest friend has a DD called Matilda. Are you her? And if so why haven't you answered my email or text?!

My kids have been so mean to me today I want to eat chocolate.

I have to confess to having 2 bacon and cheese scones but they are home made so have no calories.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 04/09/2014 20:21

Favadi, I'm copying down all your recipes so I can make than all next week! You are so creative!

TheHoundsBitch · 04/09/2014 20:23

That sounds lovely fav
I had bolognese sauce and cabbage - very filling and tasty :)
I have a confession to make.... I'm going to TGI Fridays tomorrow Shock I'm not even going to try and be good, I am also going to an Indian buffet for lunch on Saturday Confused so diet will be suspended until Sunday.

coffeeinbed · 04/09/2014 20:34

Slipping another confession so no one will notice - I had some wine and a couple of biscuits today.

as you were...
Grin

coffeeinbed · 04/09/2014 20:35

and while we're at it a few other things as well.

Blush
PrimalLass · 04/09/2014 20:37

Oh dear. A day of moving stuff and a kitchen still full of beds, sideboards etc resulted in wine and pizza.

coffeeinbed · 04/09/2014 20:39

at least I'm not alone ...

WyrdByrd · 04/09/2014 20:40

I'm feeling slightly smug after all the confessions, as despite there being a cake mountain at work (back from summer hols/double INSET days) I have resisted everything!

Just for that I'll probably put on 3lb tomorrow which will have nothing whatsoever to do with the Jaffa cake that fell into my mouth when I opened the coffee cupboard after dinner Blush Grin

PrimalLass · 04/09/2014 20:40

But I did HOURS of exercise. I should change career and be a removal man. Or indeed, a carpet cleaner, as I paid him 3 times my hourly rate (editor) Shock

coffeeinbed · 04/09/2014 20:43

Ah!
That sounds like my work/pay balance.

And I'm not a carpet cleaner....

frankie5 · 04/09/2014 20:47

Coffeeinbed - I had 3 chocolate biscuits, so you are definitely not alone. But apart from that I had a very good day and even went for a run this morning - I just about made it around the block!

Cereal for breakfast, sushi for lunch, small amount of stir fried chicken and the 3 biscuits for dinner. Lots of fruit.

coffeeinbed · 04/09/2014 20:51

I had grapefruit for breakfast, boiled eggs for lunch and Nutella with the biscuits for tea.
And some wine.
And I never have Nutella...

oh well.
Tomorrow is another day.

Itsfab · 04/09/2014 20:52

I have not had anything even though two of my kids have driven me mad and really upset me.

I am going to an old friends weeding 200+ miles away so not idea what will happen food wise.

FavadiCacao · 04/09/2014 21:25

Thank you Whats.
My creativity might fall through tomorrow as I don't have a clue what cheeses we are allowed as low fat. Remembering this dr would not have has so many processed cheeses too choose when developing the diet, I am tempted to go by this list of cheeses. I'm thinking of making some sort of cheese and nutty (nutmeg) spinach foundu/dip with celery sticks; or spinach soup with cheese crisps (all the fat bleeds out in the cooking).
