Sorry to hear you have had a horrible worrying time WyrdBird.

I think he is on antibiotics as it is inflamed. I know nothing so am confused how a lump can make his breast swollen and red. No follow up appointment.

Thank you for the link.

I have been talking to DD about how she can talk to me about any changes in her body that she needs too but tbh I haven't seen DS1 naked for months so have no clue what is going on.

Just had a cry over long lost family, always cry. Wish I had a family. But really I was crying for DS as I am scared. Seems it is normal though

TwoTonTessie · 03/09/2014 22:08

Well done all the 'losers' Wink
l4k I am starting the Duncan Blue diet next week and am impressed by your loss. I have started drinking tea with no milk today (not shitter tea) and it's not too bad really.
Thedietstarts tomorrow I am morbidly fascinated too which is why I am going for it next week. Care to join me?

TwoTonTessie · 03/09/2014 22:12

itsfab hope ds feels better soon, try not to worry too much if you can.

Itsfab · 03/09/2014 22:16

Thank you. I am going to try and sleep now. This is so stupid given it is common in kids.

TwoTonTessie · 03/09/2014 22:17

Night

WyrdByrd · 03/09/2014 22:34

It's not stupid fab - anyone of us would be anxious in your shoes.

Hope you manage to get some decent sleep & that the meds kick in and make a difference pronto so you can put your mind at rest.

Tbf my situation was more a paranoia meets hopeless GP situation. The one in question has left now thank God. I always said he had the bedside manner of a prawn cracker.

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 22:35

Me too theDiet i'm still juicing apart from the 2 x glasses of savvy B this evening and intend to keep going for another few days but James Duncan may be my diet of choice for next week. I think that's fine actually for a week, the Juicemaster feels pretty hardcore because you don't actually EAT anything - especially hard when it's cold. Succumbed to soup on a couple of evenings, surely that can't be toooo bad? So far i think i'm about 4lbs down, hoping for another 1 tomorrow morning, only got 5lbs to go to target weight but it's ridiculously hard to shift. Shitters tea should be here soon though - wahey!

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 22:39

Sorry itsfab my bloody internet is shite so didn't see your recent post, night night, hope you manage to sleep.

Fuckalella · 03/09/2014 22:49

Flowers Itsfab, hope everything turns out ok with DS.

CatThief, well done on the amazing loss! Celebrations should always involve vodka Smile

Weighed myself this morning but not lost anything yet. TBH have not been following Mr Duncan to the letter though it's too hard so far have replaced chicken with prawns and salad with roast veg and ate a leftover slice of DCs pizza Planning to restart the exercise next week when DD starts school FT as I just can't seem to fit it in at the moment. Then again have been doing the school run 3 times a day which adds up to 5 miles walking, that has to count for something!

l4k · 03/09/2014 23:06

Thediet and twoton, I can recommend the Duncan ( blue) diet for results but good god it's hard. I have felt sick, dizzy and had a headache at some point every day but I've managed to stick to it. And I bet I do it again too. I have had to stop exercising though. I really think, for me at least it would have been dangerous. I want to be thin, not dead Wink

( Important News). Think I may have set a new record for effective results of shitter tea....... The kettle boiled and I poured the water on the tea bag in the cup and voila !!!!!!! Had to run to carzy rather quickly with arse cheeks clenched. Wasn't expecting thatShock
It was the slim tea with senna(as up thread) from holland and Barrett FYI
That's what I call a resultGrin

TwoTonTessie · 04/09/2014 06:06

Shock that's got to be a shitter tea record surely. I just can't risk the tea myself though.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 04/09/2014 06:57

Itsfab Thanks

I'm 10st 6. I did Scarsdale perfectly, until the Frazzles incident. I'm sure I used to lose 1lb/day on the diet. And knowing me, I wouldn't have followed it perfectly!

Maybe this is because I'm due to get my period on the 7th and I'm retaining water..? Or is it because I'm older this time, 43, and my metabolism is broken??

You're inspiring me with your tales about this "exercise".

Morning all Smile.

Thank you all so much for your support and kind messages last night. I feel such an idiot but I have always had a worry about DS1 but thought it would be his heart. He was born by emergency section when I had gone in for a growth scan and the doctors had no idea what was wrong with him but knew there was a chance he wouldn't survive labour. He wasn't breathing when he was born and had another problem which necessitated an x-ray within half an hour of being born and I wasn't allowed to feed him. Hence, I thought he would be like other children I had heard that seemed healthy then collapsed when playing football. Seems a bit ott I am sure but I am a worrier.

I did sleep but had a nightmare so bit tired today. DS1 back to school so back to normal and I am going to get the shopping done and the house sorted.

14k ShockGrin

Drum roll please ###############

ONE POUND OFF!!!! I AM IN THE 11'S AT LAST!!!!!

I ran into the bedroom and twirled about to DH and waggled my bum. He laughed and asked what was going on and then cheered.

Happy but still worried

.

WaitingForMe · 04/09/2014 08:01

Well done Itsfab!

I'm 2lb down today. Just 3st 4lb to sexy weight...

I'm setting myself some rewards:

  • New yoga outfit when I've been in the 11s for a week.
  • New underwear (Bravissimo) when I've been in the 10s for a week
  • Day at a fancy spa when I've been in the 9s for a week
  • Pair of designer heels when I hit my sexy weight

Need to stop rewarding with food/drink.

Fuckalella · 04/09/2014 08:15

Well done Itsfab and Waiting!

I'm finally seeing movement too, half a pound off and half an inch from round the waist Smile

FavadiCacao · 04/09/2014 08:35

Glad you feeling better this morning, fab.

Well done to all for weight loss and inches. :)

Whats, I'm a little older than you and I think is a combination of age and hormones. I find myself having to be stricter and stricter with my portions but with the same appetite. Having said that, since having an endo ablation, I'm regaining an hourglass shape, bloating less (used to be up to 6kg per period), less mad-axe-hormonally challenged woman and facial hair is disappearing.

Mad scales are playing at being 'Wheel of Fortune' and haven't settled yet; resonable scales...I think between yesterday and today it might be 1lb.
For the purpose of slimtember I'll have to buy new scales. Any suggestion on a reliable one, with big numbers?

Coffe, Dh said that my bottom is looking perkier and my legs more defined. Mat DVD ordered. Grin

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 04/09/2014 08:47

twoton and mrsgo, I think I'll try duncan when I'm a bit more desperate at some point but atm I'm on day 4 of Scarsdale and need to stick with it for ay least 3 more weeks. Might get a bit more creative after that.

Whatsgoing, you're 10.6, so how much loss is that in total? I think you're going to have to give in to exercise to get your metabolism in motion. Your rowing machine beckons from the corner of your fabulously tidied bedroom.

Go on, I will too if you will. Not go crazy mind like Gobbler-need to maintain some of my updo- but 30 mins should be acceptable in my Lazy Blobs Wants To Lose Weight by Crash Dieting Standards.

PrimalLass · 04/09/2014 09:18

Well done losers Grin

Shitter tea by osmosis - I'd like some of that please.

Back to 11.4 this morning. So 2lb off in 3 days. Ok-ish, but I would have done that through 5:2 and put it back on the next day with my haribo habit Scarsdale is good but the fruit lunch day does me no favours. I am not doing that again.

I have to clear three rooms for carpet cleaning today. And do some work.

coffeeinbed · 04/09/2014 09:28

Half a pound down only.
But I had a two glass of wine last night.

back on the grapefruit and dry toast, replenishing the boiled egg stash as well.

Favadi I might try and dig out my own copy of the DVD.
I got bored with it, so stopped but it does get results. When one actually does it...

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 04/09/2014 09:30

Yes, fruit day lunch was really hard. I was thinking that maybe it was because I was actually quite reserved in my fruit allowance. I had 3 small satsumas, 2 plums, a beautiful fig and a few blackberries.

Maybe I should have filled a wheelbarrow and spaded it all into my mouth.

Souper · 04/09/2014 09:32

Favadi I have some great Salter ones. I'll check the model when I get home. I am supposed to be out running at the moment but I am actually sitting on the pavement because I started to feel a bit dizzy after I had gone 4.5km! I think I will just walk backSmile

I have lost 7/8 of a lb this morning.

Matildasmam22 · 04/09/2014 09:39

itsfab well done on your loss and sorry for all your worry last night Flowers kids cause nothing but worry. I think when they have had early problems it's always at the back of your mind.

catthief well done vodka was the only way to celebrate such a loss.

I am 10.1 eek nearly under 10 unless I drown myself in the ice cream tub. I don't exercise I lack time, willpower and motivation.

PrimalLass · 04/09/2014 09:41

Maybe I should have filled a wheelbarrow and spaded it all into my mouth.

That's what I did and put 1lb back on Angry
