I have just spent 3 hours in the garden weeding and pruning. I have worked muscles I never knew I had.

TheHoundsBitch · 03/09/2014 20:32

I've pulled myself together now whats
Sorry to hear your boy's poorly fab :(

coffeeinbed · 03/09/2014 20:36

I'm together.
Just haven't weighted myself...

Itsfab · 03/09/2014 20:37

avoid not afford

Losing the will to type properly. What if it is a tumour? Doctor was worried.

coffeeinbed · 03/09/2014 20:40

Don't drive yourself bonkers fab.
Cross that bridge when you come to it.

TheHoundsBitch · 03/09/2014 20:45

Watching Bake off. Want pie. Must resist Pop Tart in cupboard (almost a pie!)

I won't really eat it, but it's veeeerrrry tempting!

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 03/09/2014 20:45

coffeeinbed, are you asking how much I've lost on Scarsdale so far?

I started Monday morning and have lost 4lbs so far. If I carry on losing a pound a day I'll be tickled pink but I've learnt from previous experience that I usually lose 5-6 pounds the first week and then tend to frazzle down to 1-1.5 pounds a week.

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 03/09/2014 20:47

Aw man, I've been holding off watching Bake off until now and have just decided to give in.

coffeeinbed · 03/09/2014 20:47

yes, that was it.
thanks!
4 pounds is great!

FavadiCacao · 03/09/2014 20:56

Victrix you discovered the accessory muscles too! Are you finding interesting ways to sit and manage stairs? Confused

(((Fab))), You need to think positively. At the moment the doctor is ensuring he is not missing anything. Breast cancer is rare in children and, as with many cancers, the soonest is caught the best chance of full recovery. From my experience, breathing techniques can help numb that horrible feeling (breath out, all of the air out, and that last ml -your body is designed to naturally breathing, so let it out). xxx

coffeeinbed · 03/09/2014 21:01

Isn't Tracy the best?
My accessory muscles were so in the best ever shape when I did those exercises.

Must find the time again.

2kidsintow · 03/09/2014 21:09

This was the wrong week for me to start my diet.

Monday - meal out with friend
Yesterday - virtuous. Came in at about 900 cals for my food all day and went to the gym too.
Today - meal out for anniversary (20th this year)
Tomorrow - afternoon tea for my Mum's birthday.

Sigh.

On it like stink from Friday!

Victrix · 03/09/2014 21:12

Haha Fav I haven't attempted the stairs yet. I have moulded to the sofa.

Hot bath before bed for me I think!

FavadiCacao · 03/09/2014 21:15

Isn't Tracy the best? Only if I ever get passed the pain phase1,2,3...!Grin
It's only my 4th day but I'm already noticing a difference, could be the muscles still in contraction, of course! I was already doing 30-75mins of exercise a day back permitting but she knows how to work your butt off for real! She is also right, the only loose skin I have is were I really bulked up in my late teens with body building.

coffeeinbed · 03/09/2014 21:20

Pain is good.
Accessory muscles waking up.
Grin

FavadiCacao · 03/09/2014 21:26

Happy Anniversary, 2Kids.Flowers

I have entered my daily intake in MFP. I have struggled, exept yesterday, to reach 1000cals. I'm not hungry at the moment but I had only 500cals today. Shock Is this normal on Scarsdale? Any suggestions of food if/when I get hungry later (I don't think just carrots and celery are going to cut it)?

Itsfab · 03/09/2014 21:27

I have come to bed and just want to be on my own. I feel so worried. I have never heard of this in 13 year old boys so it has been a big shock and all because I wanted some spots on his tummy checked. I never see him naked anymore so had no clue about his chest and it was a heart stopping moment when the doctor said not worried about that or that but am worried about this. Forgot to ask how soon the medicine will work.

In other news slimatee is fine cold and I am still fat.

FavadiCacao · 03/09/2014 21:31

I'm aspiring to do all the mat exercises, plus the butt and thigh (youtube). I was going to buy a DVD set. Which, set do you used to do, coffee?

WyrdByrd · 03/09/2014 21:31

Sorry you've had such worrying news fab.

I don't suppose it'll be much comfort, but at the beginning of last year I had a large lump develop on the side of my face near my ear. I kept telling myself it was nothing but when I went into work and colleagues commented on it I made a GP appointment.

Useless doc came out with "I don't think it's cancer but will refer you for a needle biopsy anyway."Hmm

Was absolutely petrified (my best friend's mum died of a rare brain tumour that presented the same way initially), activated the private health insurance and saw a consultant within a week - turned out to be a badly blocked salivary gland which righted itself after an evening mainlining fizzy cola bottles!

WyrdByrd · 03/09/2014 21:32

Are the meds supposed to help the lump? When is follow up appt?

coffeeinbed · 03/09/2014 21:36

The Mat DVD.
And the butt and thigh from you tube.
Soetimes I do bits of one and bits of Metamorphsis from You Tube.
The day I made it through the whole DVD felt incredible though.

Also some ballet barre type of DVD, when I get bored with Tracy.
Killer leg and bum workouts.

CatThiefKeith · 03/09/2014 21:53

FFs . I celebrated my gold membership today by going to the pub and having several 10 vodka and diet cokes followed by fish and chips. ShockShockShock

In another news, has anyone else seen the new M&S food ad? I am drooling! Sad

FavadiCacao · 03/09/2014 21:56

how soon the medicine will work It depends on the medicine and what is for. 3 times a day could be an antibiotic which can start acting in hours (but all needs to be taken).
Have read you this? How about booking an appointment with the same GP to ask some clarifications: from how long to the first appt to what if?
You need to get some sleep: do you have Epsom salts to either take a bath or to massage on your feet (for the latter dilute 4-5 tbs in a cup and dilute with hot water, when cooled massage into sole of foot)? xxx

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 03/09/2014 22:04

Just read the James Duncan diet. It's brutal.

I think I'd have to spend the week in bed if I ate that much only.

I'm morbidly fascinated by it though. Like I want to try it only because it's just so ridiculously unsustainable and faddy. But I'm intrigued by what it promises and it fulfils my current obsession for absurd quick-fix crash diets.

LaconicIcon · 03/09/2014 22:06

758 calories today. Been around 800 for a week and no real change on the scales Sad there'd better be tomorrow or I may have to resort to the dreaded exercise.
