Namechanged for this. Reporting for duty Whatsgoingoneh
Right, so I've just completed a week apart from falling spectacularly off the wagon and into the Wagon Wheels once, maybe twice of Jason Vale's Juicemaster hell week programme and have managed to lose not 7lbs, but 3 WTFF? So I still have 5lbs to lose so here I am, ready for my next crash diet.

BTW typically DH lost 8lbs - oh how proud I am of him am I bollocks

DD back to school today so was like Fawlty Towers at home - I've managed to get myself to work on time however turned up sans juice, tablets, glasses... so now desperately seeking lunch ideas for losers who are limiting to about 100 calories a meal.

FANKS.

Itsfab · 03/09/2014 10:32

Back with hair colour remover, hair dye, sausages, a chicken and peppermint and spearmint tea. Yum.

I scan my food into MFP via the bar code so I hope that means it is more accurate.

My edamame bean salad pot says serves two Hmm. Since I will have nothing else with it I will assume it is fine to have it all. It comes in at 180 calories for 220g so okay in my book.

howling at: Catching my stomach empty is like waiting for Halley's Comet.

hello all!

i have two confessions.

  1. for the last two nights i have imbibed white wine. 3 glasses each time.

  2. remember that scene in jurassic park where the t-rex lumbers around chasing children??? that was me just now in the convenience store downstairs from my office. only i was chasing down a twirl bar. it is scoffed.

the way i look at it, that twirl bar preserved the safety of me, and those around me. i'm in a hormonal whirl of homicide. my period just arrived which explains a lot.

i'm off to the gym straight from work.

DON'T HATE ME!

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 10:51

itsfab what have you done to your hair?

Matildasmam22 · 03/09/2014 10:51

10 3 probably stress and blood loss.

Could cry with happiness oldests back at school and youngest is back at nursery.

Still haven't got my tea, going to order it of amazon has anyone got the link please.

Cunting carrots made diet coke snort out my nose, must remember not to read op's posts whilst drinking.

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 10:57

Can anyone advise on the best shitters tea? There have been several banded about.

Victrix · 03/09/2014 11:08

This one

It's powerful stuff.

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 11:11

Thanks Victrix should I save on p&p and order the adult nappies too?

Itsfab · 03/09/2014 11:13

MrsGolightly - I dyed my hair dark red, ultra something. Everyone likes it but I feel like a fool. I am old, fat, never wear make up, very very very plain and feel I can't carry off bright red.

I have slimatee from Holland & Barrett but tbh I am still unsure if it is doing anything. I may be a little more windy and going feels a little different but I wonder if that is more because I am looking for changes.

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 11:21

I'm sure your Ultra red barnet is fab itsfab Smile
What colour was it originally - are you possibly in shock? I dyed mine brown (from blonde for 38 years) a couple of years ago and looked like I'd been dug up til I purchased some not so subtle make up

If everyone else likes it I suspect you just need to get used to it no?

I'm ordering that Slimatee. Slightly anxious about the use of the loo (not v private) at work as I'm freelance and they may not appreciate an outsider sharting in there next to the meeting room.... perhaps i'll save it for the weekend.

Victrix · 03/09/2014 11:40
Grin

Probably a good idea MrsG

CatThiefKeith · 03/09/2014 12:09

I did it! I weighed in at 11.6, and am now officially a Ww gold member. I have lost 50lb. In two years. So less than 1/2lb per week.

I am not sticking to it anymore, crash dieting is the way forward, as I still need to lose 11lb by 1st October. Smile

Itsfab · 03/09/2014 13:16

MrsG my hair was sort of brown before. I had been wanting to go lighter and had put a colour on that had done very little then it started to loo a bit lighter as weeks went by but then MrFab said red and then this happened.

I was very blonde as a child. I want to see my normal colour but I think it is very dark grey with silver bits Confused.

Have put a bit of make up on in the hope I look less ugly.

Well done CTK.

Got to go now, taking DS1 to the doctor.

WaitingForMe · 03/09/2014 13:20

Well done Keith

I had a cup of Slimatee last night and after a second visit to the bathroom discovered that I have lost 1lb after all! Woohoo for that.

I have also joined a gym and booked a massage at their spa for after my half-marathon on Sunday. If weight loss is 90% due to diet and weight maintenance is 90% due to exercise (I'm sure I read that here), I feel this thread plus classes is the way to go. I'm feeling uncharacteristically positive about what I could get my body to look like.

3 stones and 6 pounds to get to my "sexiest weight" and I'm thinking I will actually go for it. I'm visiting my expat brother and SIL around 3rd January and would love to rock up looking amazing.

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 13:32

itsfab I'm sure you don't look ugly at all - you just need to shove your face in a bag of bronzer et voila! (that's what I do anyway)
Well done Keith!!! good work gal!

Waiting for me I reckon you can do that. I put on 5stone with DD and managed to lose all bar 7lbs in the last 9 fucking years bearing in mind she weighed 8lbs of that I think I did quite well too. I think I gave myself gestational diabetes by eating a whole lemon drizzle everyday for 9 months mind you, wouldn't recommend.

Lucked · 03/09/2014 13:53

I keep forgetting to weigh myself when I wake up, it's always after breakfast 12st 11 today down 0.5 of a lb. I want to get to 10st 4 which is my wedding day weight and incidentally my optimum sex appeal weigh too.

I have struggled to adjust to this weight, I have no idea how to dress myself, I was never overweight before kids, I was always the skinny one and now the tables have turned and I am a big frump - well not this Christmas, no way Jose.

My reason for doing it quick is partly how fast Christmas is approaching and also for the majority of my adult life I had good habits and even now I don't think my diet is too bad I have just slipped into a few bad habits and bigger portions, DH pointed out last night that there have only been 4 months in the last 3.5 years when I haven't been pregnant or breastfeeding which I feel is an okay excuse but now I need to get a grip.

I wonder if it is possible to get to 12st by October?

frankie5 · 03/09/2014 13:54

Yes! Lost 2 pounds since yesterday, now weigh 10s6.

Still not risking drinking the tea. With all the water, normal tea, diet coke, soup and fruit that I am having, I am having to wee every half hour, so that is bad enough!

Going to go for my first run in 30 years tomorrow morning!

MrsGolightly · 03/09/2014 14:28

franky5 that's brilliant - are you juicing? I am - but haven't lost enough so now on day 9 EUGH.

CatThiefKeith · 03/09/2014 14:34

Lucked I want to lose a similar amount by October, we'll do it together!

It's less than 3lb per week, I am sure it is achievable, especially as I have decided to drink nothing but water, Pukka tea or green tea for a while month, and am currently simmering a slow cooker full of vegetable/ 0 point soup.Smile

Lucked · 03/09/2014 14:48

Great Keith, I think losing a big chunk this month would give me such a boost and I also have so many clothes that almost fit, I may regain some of my wardrobe. I only put really on weight in one area, my spare tyre and love handles so hopefully the difference will be really noticeable.

The thinnest I have been in recent memory (too thin actually) was when I took up running, I am rubbish at it but it works so going to start c25k. Might try and get out tonight but in a lot of pain after last nights class.

I bet the soup smells great. Its pork fillet for me for dinner, not sure what veg I have left.

PrimalLass · 03/09/2014 16:12

Me too. 3lb/week would be amazing.

frankie5 · 03/09/2014 16:12

Mrs G - No I'm not juicing as I couldn't go even one day without eating. I'm desperate to lose a few pounds by weekend after next for a wedding as my dress is quite tight slim fitting. I've made up my own diet and I'm eating mainly fruit and veg, with protein (eggs, salmon and chicken), and a very small amount of carbs. What are you eating?

CatThiefKeith · 03/09/2014 16:35

I feel like a bit of a fraud now.Sad

My Ww leader has put a thing up on her FB page congratulating me on hitting gold/50lb, and loads of people have messaged me to say congratulations and what an inspiration I am.BlushBlushBlush

Not Ww at all, just this crazy thread and you lot cheering me on. I can hardly say that though can I?Blush

TheHoundsBitch · 03/09/2014 16:45

Ah, Keith it doesn't matter how you did it, you didn't pretend to lose the weight! You're still inspiring people to stick to their diets :)
Congratulations are well deserved Flowers

FavadiCacao · 03/09/2014 16:53

CTK but you still lost all the weight, you did it not WW. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You earned your gold medal.:)

Itsfab, red hair can look amazing; people would steer away from saying anything if it didn't look good.

Scarsedale book owners Question: Are we allowed mushrooms in this phase? I was hoping to make mushroom and spinach 'involtini' (=stuffed, rolled thin pork slices). I have ordered the book but it's not here yet.
