...but I don't know what.

I am sick of being on a diet, off a diet, on another diet, off that diet to, ad infinitum.

I desperately need to lose the two stone I put on while pregnant four years ago, but I can't seem to stick to anything. I am currently falling off the slimming world wagon, having previously tried most things out there - WW, low carb in various guises, hypno, cal counting...

Not sure what I hope to gain from posting this. I am just so fed up of it all and so fed up of being fat and needed somewhere to rant.

As you were.

Just seen your loss antarctic!!!! And you crunchies!! Ooh and starving and just!!!!

In fact everyone, well done!

antarctic · 09/09/2014 22:03

Addicted what are you doing at circuit training?!? When I did a half marathon I could barely move for a week afterwards!

Thanks Radio and Harold. I'm low carbing, so a big first week loss is not unusual. Just hope I can carry on the momentum!

AddictedtoCrunchies · 09/09/2014 22:17

I was walking like an old woman yesterday but I'm ok today! Had the class booked so went for it. Missed out on butlers though - my knees hate them.
I've got another half a week on Sunday so have to keep the training up Smile

AddictedtoCrunchies · 09/09/2014 22:17

butlers??? burpees that should say..

Justwhateverreally · 10/09/2014 08:38

Thanks Radio and well done to you too!

My belt is 4 notches tighter than when I started on this thread. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement everyone, you're all doing fabulously xx

Anyone mind if I join in? I have had amazing results earlier this year on BIWI's low carb bootcamp, but over the summer holidays it's been slowly creeping back on and I need to get a firm grip now the kids are back at school.

I am trying to eat clean and as low carb as possible, but not as extreme as bootcamp.

Avoiding sugar and alcohol most days.

Just need to get my exercise mojo back now too.

If someone could point me in the direction of the spreadsheet I would be eternally grateful - I need the public shaming support Grin

Wishfulmakeupping · 10/09/2014 10:47

Hi all late joiner here. Thank you to mintbaileys for telling me about this thread. I'm lost weight last year but need to lose another 10-14 pounds and need to seriously tone up by Xmas would be perfect :)

1 pound off this week. I'll take that as I lost 6 last week.

ShoopShoop · 10/09/2014 16:19

Well done on all the other losses too!!

Nocarbs · 10/09/2014 16:26

Hi everyone, I did initially weigh in and do read the posts/catch up every night but haven't yet changed the spreadsheet for a few reasons!
First off all I've started a new job and my food routine has changed so much so wanted to give it a bit to see if the scales change without me 'dieting', plus time of the month too! So will weigh in on the weekend and report back :-)

starsinthenight · 10/09/2014 17:13

Enjoying the sunshine. Somehow makes me think of food less. Long may it last !!

AddictedtoCrunchies · 10/09/2014 18:05

Evening all. Team sport training tonight and I joined a gym today too.

Kettle bells class Fri lunchtime. Won't be walking on Saturday Grin

I will be lean and strong.

MillyCariad · 10/09/2014 20:30

Please can I join Smile

AddictedtoCrunchies · 10/09/2014 21:57

Of course, pile in Grin Grin

MillyCariad · 10/09/2014 22:11

Thanks Crunchies (can I call you that?)
If its not too late can I add my weight to the lovely spreadsheet please.
I am 203lbs today and am very unhappy. I am 5ft 8 or 9 (something like that) and a size 16/18. Im fed up of feeling unhappy about myself and want....NO .......and am now doing something about it. Grin

Look forward to chatting and reading this thread.
Thanks ever so much.

MillyCariad · 10/09/2014 22:22

Mint I think I have added my name and weight to the Chart of Lovely Colours. Im sorry if I have done it wrong. Im not good at this type of thing.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 11/09/2014 09:18

Milly you can call me anything you like Grin. Welcome to our thread Thanks

MillyCariad · 11/09/2014 09:27

Grin Thanks

Ledkr · 11/09/2014 09:30

I think ivd lost around 8 pounds since I first posted but this is due to my extremely restricted diet.
Feel better but not noticeably thinner just trimmer iyswim.
I was chosen for the ww trial on here so that should help me balance things a bit. At the moment I'm eating a lot of fruit but aware that seasonally this will become more difficult soon.
Did enjoy getting dressed today tho Grin everything fits better and hangs better too.

starsinthenight · 11/09/2014 16:39

Amazing Ledkr - congrats! So what does the ww trial mean / entail ?

mumof2kiddos · 11/09/2014 19:26

Hi Can I join in please?

I am fairly motivated and now after 1 yr of healthy eating and moderate excercise, I have lost 10 kgs from 73 kgs to 62.3 kgs as of yesterday.

I SO want to keep it on, reduce to 55 kgs (I am 5ft 2 in) and shall be really encouraged to do it as a group.

I have found that logging in MFP has helped me immensely. Also I am doing low-carb and general healthy eating (although today I had 2 slices of pizza for dinner Sad

Hoping for the best for all of us.

thobblywighs · 11/09/2014 19:53

Wow. Some great losses here. I've lost a whole pound this week! I weighed on Tuesday but my internet has been off so I couldn't post. can't seem to add myself to the spreadsheet thought so if someone would be able to do it, that would be fab. I'm struggling today though so am going to clean my teeth, use mouthwash and drink water! I will fit into my old clothes!

MillyCariad · 11/09/2014 20:27

Well done "thobbly", well done!
