...but I don't know what.

I am sick of being on a diet, off a diet, on another diet, off that diet to, ad infinitum.

I desperately need to lose the two stone I put on while pregnant four years ago, but I can't seem to stick to anything. I am currently falling off the slimming world wagon, having previously tried most things out there - WW, low carb in various guises, hypno, cal counting...

Not sure what I hope to gain from posting this. I am just so fed up of it all and so fed up of being fat and needed somewhere to rant.

As you were.

In case that didn't make sense I am eating mindfully and eating when Im hungry, not counting calories.

TalkinPeace · 05/09/2014 20:41

jeni
I've not logged into MFP for over a year .... I judge by my tummy bulge and my digestion
the same basic rules for getting lean apply.

JeniJones · 05/09/2014 20:50

That's what I am doing now. Eating like a person who is already thin. I eat a big mac occasionally and a banana thickshake and fries sometimes but because I no longer overeat I usually only end up eating a small amount of it all. I eat whatever I want but stop as soon as I am satisfied. I will never do a "diet" again as I want to eat like a person who has never dieted and only eats for true hunger. Body led calorie control I guess.

ooh thanks Cornholio that looks yum. And nicely seasonal as well.

frankie80 · 06/09/2014 15:27

hello, am I allowed to join in? Restarting nutracheck tomorrow and need people to give me a kick up the arse to stop me eating stuff I really shouldnt. My problem is that I'm a fussy bugger and don't really like veg!

Look forward to seeing your hints and tips.

cleanmachine · 06/09/2014 17:09

Hi everyone . Trying to eat mindfully this weekend but not being too strict as I'm not fasting until Monday. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Hoping I lose a pound a two by Tuesday weigh in.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 07/09/2014 06:37

Race day! Just munching a big bowl of porridge with sultanas then I'm off. If anyone's in Cheltenham, come and give me a wave Grin

frankie don't be down! your current weight is the weight I want to be by Christmas (two stone lighter than I am now).

Best soup in our house starts with:
Onion
Garlic
Potatoes
Carrots
Red lentils

And finishes with whatever I have lying about, sometimes celery, beans, tin of tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, kidney beans, peas, broad beans etc.

But it's just as lovely on its own.

RadioMusicola · 07/09/2014 09:41

And good luck addicted !!!

frankie80 · 07/09/2014 09:48

Thank you. My size 14 jeans are really uncomfortable today and I think I need to buy a 16 :-(

AddictedtoCrunchies · 07/09/2014 12:47

Thanks all. I did it. Smile First ten miles I was flying but then I hit a brick wall and had to use every ounce of stubborn-ness and self belief I could muster up. Time was 2.18 but I am a broken woman now. Need to refuel.

thobblywighs · 07/09/2014 12:58

Hi all! Well using MFP has been an eye opener. By logging everything that I have eaten, I can see exactly where I am going wrong - too much snacking and junk. Not looking forward to weighing on Tuesday but am going to do it and get back on it. Back in work now and so I can plan my meals and hopefully stick to them.

JeniJones · 07/09/2014 17:10

kaylacrackers · 08/09/2014 07:07

Meant to add, I wasn't feeling great on Saturday so I was going to do an extra fast day yesterday. I didn't in the end but I'm not feeling great from what I ate over the weekend. Am fasting today which will hopefully help. I will see how it goes and decide whether to do 2 or 3 fast days this week. I haven't tried 3 before but I think it may help. Good luck today everyone! New week, chance to leave anything not great from last week and start a new week on a positive note. I know I won't have lot a lot when I WI tomorrow but as long as it's in the right direction I'm happy.

Ledkr · 08/09/2014 09:10
