1.5 in iced gems (chocolate ones are 3) Did the soup say the sat fat ? If not you're supposed to half the total fat content which will make it 1.5 Don't know about the muffin sorry, would guess about 3.5 - 4 ?

Kittypickle · 18/03/2004 21:12

I take that back about the muffin, there's info on their website, works out 6.5 points per pack (I assume that's just one muffin)

Ghosty · 20/03/2004 20:36

Starting day 4 today ...
Am doing 28 points ... as am breastfeeding but am struggling to actually do that many so if I haven't lost any by Tuesday I will be pretty upset!
Have been eating a few jaffa cakes as they are only 1pt ... got to wean myself off the sweet stuff ....

marthamoo · 20/03/2004 20:40

So how many points in all the crusts off two pizzas? No, don't tell me, I don't want to know.

Allegra · 21/03/2004 08:47

I have saved 12 points this week for I knew I was going out for lunch today. Can I eat them all today and still expect to lose weight? Only started this week so not really clear how it works. My weigh in is tomorrow and dont want to blow it in the first week.

Hulababy · 21/03/2004 09:15

Yes you can. You can save up to 4 points a day for up to 7 days, and you can use them whenever you want, and all together, within the 7 days.

Allegra · 21/03/2004 09:58

Thanks, Hulababy- just what I wanted to hear!

Lisa78 · 21/03/2004 11:45

How many points do I get for scrubbing the oven? And do I get extra for doing it on mothers day?

Allegra · 21/03/2004 15:04

Don't know about points but I've got a book that says heavy housework burns up 3 calories a minute so it depends how mucky your oven was!

Lisa78 · 21/03/2004 18:04

Mucky like you wouldn't believe!!!! Its been a YEAR since it had more than a quick wipe down How shameless am I? I used a bottle of that oven pride and a tin of Mr Muscle and its taken me pissing hours!
Anyway, quick question, I know I can save points and carry them over, can I use a couple extra in advance and make up for it tomorrow by having two less - only I want cheese on my baked potato!

champs · 21/03/2004 22:06

Secondhandrose- OMGOsh.... fabs are.....FAB!!!!
thanx for the info, at only 1 point each they are a wonderful treat

marthamoo · 22/03/2004 07:06

OK, first weigh-in today after my first week on WW and...........

I've lost 7 pounds

All that cottage cheese may just be worth it!

Allegra · 22/03/2004 07:11

Did you get up early just to weigh yourself?

That's brilliant,Marthamoo. You must be really chuffed. I have lost 3 lbs .

marthamoo · 22/03/2004 07:15

No, it could have waited til 8 o'clock. Ds2 thinks 6 is a good time to get up

Well done you too!

Coddy · 22/03/2004 07:20

well done mm

Demented · 22/03/2004 13:09

Well done Allegra and Marthamoo!

Grommit · 22/03/2004 18:37

lost 1.5 lbs this 3 week and have reached my first half stone loss! Just 12lbs to go
Marthamoo - how did you manage 7 lbs in 1 week???!!!

Demented · 23/03/2004 18:36

BTW if anyone wants to join the MN Mamas, as well as Weightwatchers obviously, have a look at the Week 12 thread, e-mail me your details and I'll pop you on the spreadsheet. IMO when it comes to encouragement to lose weight every little helps!

Well done on your first half stone Grommit!

marthamoo · 23/03/2004 18:40

Grommitt, think it was just my body going into shock! When I did Rosemary Conley a couple of years ago I lost 7lbs the first week too but never lost that much again in a week, expect WW will be the same. But it's nice to have a big kick-start!

I made lasagne tonight with the WW recipe - was really nice, though 50g of cheese is not very much I put extra cheese on dh's and the kids' and managed to resist the garlic bread.

Grommit · 23/03/2004 19:15

MM - ahhh - love garlic bread....well done for resisting!!! Oh to eat normally again. Got a 5 point tescos healthy meal for tonight as dh is away - did you know tescos give ww point info on their low cal ready meals..?

wog · 23/03/2004 21:51

Hi everybody lost 41/2 pnds in first week (weigh in was on Sunday) but I am struggling, yesterday went 9pnts over, today gave up counting - what is wrong with me?

Allegra · 23/03/2004 22:12

Hi Woq, you must be really pleased with that weight loss!
It is a struggle to get used to all this point counting, isn't it? I was a bit demoralised today when after a "good day" I found I had no points left for dinner. One rich, hot chocolate was to blame, so it was veggy soup for me tonight.
Dont give up on the counting after such a great start.

Ghosty · 24/03/2004 21:48

Hi all ...
Well done everyone who has had a result this week
I however, am feeling down ....
I am doing 28 points as am breastfeeding .... and after a week I lost .... nothing!!! Nada ... niks .... zilch .... bugger all!
So ... should I reduce my points and if so, how much by??

wintye · 24/03/2004 23:59

Hi ghosty, have just read your message and I would say as you are BF not to reduce your points.

Have you put on any weight???

If not then I would say no weight gain is better than some weight gain. I'm sure you will get back on track soon.

Ghosty · 25/03/2004 01:09

Hi Wintye ...
No ... haven't put any ON ... am still 11st 12oz ...
But why haven't I even lost 1lb? I have been very good and strict ... (am queen of diets me) but then again on 28 points you don't need to be that strict do you ... I mean I am struggling to keep up with 28 ...
Aaaaaggghhh
Do you think it may be too soon and my body isn't ready yet?
