New week, new thread, new start!

I'm not sure why I have tended to sabotage myself, either. The only thing I can think of (and it may be a complete red herring) is that I got glasses when I was 11, and maybe somehow my subconscious decided that I was going to be 'ugly' anyway, so decided to do the thing properly. I was a 'normal' sized child, then as a teenager just started to put on more and more weight, and it's just never really stopped (except during my first pregnancy). Am wearing my contact lenses a lot more now, and I feel that that helps, in an obscure way. It's one less thing for people to look past to find the real me, IYKWIM.

Hey suejonez - just think how toned your arms are going to be lifting that little (or not so little) one aroundGrin. And you and your mum have something so fabulous to celebrate - don't beat yourself up about the weight thing.

Hi all sorry I didn't post last week, I went to a hen night and wedding and was really really naughty! I had loads to drink, and half a tonne of buffet food, it was an accident, I was helping improve anglo-mexican relations Blush
Hope everyone did well this week, better than me anyway Blush
I'll do better this week I promise....p.s. any tips on toning tummy without the devilish sit ups? I'm a lazy lazy wimp Grin

Hey all just about to weigh myself now and see how much damage my Mum's birthday weekend did....

Oh nuts :( am now worse than when I started.

So far had lost 6 pounds and was well chuffed as had a bit of a blip - now I'm half a pound heavier than when I started. POO BAGS.

suejonez · 15/06/2006 10:23

And if you hadn't lost that 6 pounds first, you'd now be 6.5 pounds heavier. It'll come off quite quickly as you've only just put it on.

But I laughed at POO BAGS - I know just what you mean!

Good incentive for you next week though.

WigWamBam · 15/06/2006 10:47

Poo bags ... I shall have to remember that one! Sue is right though - get right back in there and start again and it will come off quickly.

Sorry I didn't do the losses last night but here they are:

Coppertop: +1lb (total loss 5lb)
Fauve: stayed the same (total loss 3lb)
FioFio: -5lb (total loss 5lb)
JackieNo: -2lb (total loss 13lb)
Rosebea: -1lb (total loss 11lb)
Schneebly: -1.5lb (total loss 11.5lb)
Suejonez: stayed the same (total loss 4lb)
WWB: -1lb (total loss 12lb)

A good week, I think! This week's \link{http://www.missprettypicture.com/MissPrettyPictureCrown.jpeg\crown} (hand it over, schneebly Wink goes to FioFio.

Off to start a new thread now Smile
