Just to give you a couple of weeks advanced warning, so you can think about it, plan for it, etc.

That looks fine, BruisedFanjo!

And you really don't need to worry about the fat.

It's impossible to predict, but most people see a significant loss by the end of the first week - depending on how much they have to lose in the first place, and how good they are!

I would like to do this as well .. I have 15 weeks to get beach body ready for holiday of a lifetime and need to make sure I have photos I can look at without weeping for rest of life ..

Do you think it helps to get ready for the 2 weeks bootcamp by cutting out sugar and stuff slowly before hand? Or should I just OD on the stuff whilst I can and get a spectacular first week loss?

No - don't OD on it! You'll put more weight on which you'll then waste the first week(s) of Bootcamp trying to shed!

A gradual reduction is a much better strategy.

Can I join too? I'm low carbing this week and it's going well but I am getting sick of meat.

Welcome, bakingnovice!

If you're sick of meat, stop eating so much of it. What about fish? Or eggs?

Plenty of vegetarian recipes on this thread

BruisedFanjo - yes, soy milk is OK but - as with ordinary mik - just keep an eye on how much you're drinking.

However

Have a read of this

Soya isn't really that great for you and it probably falls into the category of processed/artificial food, so you would be better advised to avoid soy mik if you can.

More here about the dangers of soy

I was vaguely aware of issues around soy but had no idea it was potentially so dangerous for us.

No sugar at all?! I have maybe two three cups of tea a day with sugar in, that and biscuits will be the hardest things to give up.

Just ofc to look at the links on p2.

can I join please? used to lurk last year and low carbed but not very strictly. Was great!

Don't need to lose weight as such as my BMI is healthy but have PCOS and low carbing helps with skin and symptoms

But also I feel full of beans when I do it! have spectacularly fell off the wagon and want to get back on it for the summer

The no fruit bit should be easy as i dont eat much fruit anyway and happy to eat salad etc.

Is it no pasta/bread/rice at all for just the first two weeks or long term?
