Just to give you a couple of weeks advanced warning, so you can think about it, plan for it, etc.

Well it would be hard to miss me BIWI GrinBlush

Back where I was when I started bootcamp in October Blush and still needing at least a stone and half off before I can have an operation. you'd think that would be motivation in itself, but No.

CiderwithBuda · 22/04/2013 12:23

Thanks for welcome BIWI. I knew Thai would be bad. It's a reunion lunch with people who we knew when we lived in Bangkok 20 years ago. Can't pick anything else!

Will have a think about the booze. It will be wine with lunch. Not sure I would like spirits with soda. May just have to do best I can for those two days. At least they are together! Can get back on wagon straight after.

Have promised DS Pizza Express. I think we will do that this Saturday night and then I can start bootcamp on Monday. Will cut back on carbs over next few days.

YY I've also been getting really bad cheese bloat. It's not stopping my weight loss, but I actually had a tummy ache last night, and I'm reletively sure it's due to the fact I ate my body weight in cheese Blush

cider I read John Briffa's book and it was quite good; made a lot of sense actually.

We're going over to a friend's house on Friday for dinner, and because we're so far down in Cornwall, I've managed to persuade her we should get the BBQ out Grin Much easier that way, and I can just relax a bit and not worry about carbs. Hoping someone can give me some lovely fatty sauces I can slather over the meat... Wink

Sat at my desk with a big salad for lunch with a wedge of tuna mayo. In fact, it's more mayo than tuna Wink gotta get your fat in somehow! Homemade chilli tonight, and feeling vair smug that I made my own sauce instead of chucking in an Uncle Ben's one like I normally would

slatternlymother · 22/04/2013 12:38

cider I know, I can't abide spirits with soda. Makes me shudder! For bootcamp, I just ditch alcohol anyway and then after that I just have gin and slimline tonic, maybe wine at the weekends. Sorry, BIWI

AuntieMaggie · 22/04/2013 12:58

Now cider I could drink all day..

What's the stance on fruit teas on bootcamp?

I thought it might be alright since they're just lil bags 'o' nothin'?

CiderwithBuda · 22/04/2013 13:31

Aargh. My sis has just texted and is coming to stay that weekend too. Nightmare.

AuntieMaggie - not keen on it myself! Believe it or not.

Hello all, is it okay if I have a go at this as well? Went to see Meatloaf last night and had pictures taken there - Sweet Jesus, I hated every one. Made me feel so utterly miserable this morning when I saw them all.
Have to loose about 2 stone. I know nothing about diets so will swot up on this one before it all kicks off on 29th.

slatternlymother · 22/04/2013 13:51

wand I felt like that. It took a couple of slips before I realised that actually, it made me feel like shit. Especially in the mornings, when getting up. And then in the afternoons after lunch. And I'd be really tired come 10pm as well, go to sleep and wake up a few times during the night. So, that's quite a lot of time spent feeling like shit.

I have been quietly bootcamping in a very, very light way (a sort of unter-camp, so to speak) having got to target last summer. Am a few of pounds over at the moment (red wine and my bodyweight in pistachios) so will join you all for a couple of strict weeks to stop the carb creep :)
Looking forward to Monday...I'll just tidy away all those pesky nuts and bits from the cupboards!

twinklestar2 · 22/04/2013 14:47

BIWI I take Pregnacare Conception

BIWI · 22/04/2013 16:15

You should be fine then, twinkle. (As long as you promise me you will eat your veg and salad Wink)

OK. Decision to be made.

if i start bootcamp on Monday I get to Thursday and have a Thai lunch with wine and then Friday night out and my sis arriving on Saturday for weekend.

I was thinking I might start this Wednesday and get a week under my belt and then potentially be in a better place to stay motivated and keep going. Or I wait and start a week late. I know it takes 3 days to get over cravings and into ketosis so if I start on Monday I just get that out of way and then have a blip. Or if i start on Wednesday I have a week done and some weight gone and them a few days blip and motivation to get straight back to it.

Help!
