Goodl luck everyone.

I have a good tip that i've been using last few days. i keep a bowl of washed grapes in the fridge so everytime i go looking for something to eat i have a couple of sweet cold grapes instead. not cake i know but has worked so far.

Hulababy · 22/01/2004 22:31

I have been keeping stips of raw carrot and some olives handy too for nibbling on, and it does help.

JanHR · 22/01/2004 22:33

WE all like grapes in this house so I think I need to order 2KG in the shopping this week

Demented · 22/01/2004 22:47

I've got a sore throat so it could go either way over the next few days, could stop me from eating or could have me delving for the comfort foods and things that I can taste with my current lack of tastebuds. Chicken kebab tonight, had to have something spicy.

Ailsa · 22/01/2004 23:13

Been really good at work this week, have resisted the temptation to get bacon & egg butties from the canteen for breakfast, having toast & flora instead. Not going to the shop for crisps and chocolate - have had 1 pkt crisps and 1 dipped flake this week, and also drinking more water and alot less cola.

Have also stuck a skinny picture of myself on the fridge door to stop me snacking.

my real danger time is between 3.30 and 5.30, I'm at work all day so can only eat the food that I have brought in, ususally soup, loads of fruit and yoghurt, but once I get in with the children its sooooo hard. I love raw veg but they are never quite as appealing as cheese on toast or a bag of crisps, any other suggestions?

Becca I'm joining in officially this week - will email you now.

Wanted to ask if anyone has done WW online? They are doing a week's free trial at the moment and I'm quite tempted (it's £40 for 3 months after that). I've never done any kind of WW diet and I'm wondering if online is as motivating as attending classes.

lilibet - my danger time can hit anytime Like right now there are 3 bags of crisps calling to me from downstairs (they are M&S Count On Us ones but I could easily eat all 3 packs)

codswallop · 23/01/2004 13:56

we can do it for you mm and save you themoney. we wil authorise said money to be spent when you lose a stone

marthamoo · 23/01/2004 13:58

marthamoo · 23/01/2004 13:59

Though I did see a gorgeous skirt in per una today and that was £40. Could save the money, lose a stone, and use money to buy skirt in size 12

Resisted the crisps but licked the spoon after making kids' dinner It was pasta, salmon and a tomato and mascarpone sauce, with cheese on top

Someone slap my legs please.

marthamoo · 23/01/2004 18:52

Coddy, have 3 Rosemary Conley cookbooks if you want a dinner party type recipe (tell me what you fancy cooking and I can see if she has a recipe along the same lines). Irritating as she is with her perma-grin rictus of a smile she does do some excellent recipes.

JanHR · 23/01/2004 21:03

We are having freinds over tomorrow night as well.

I will have to be good for the rest of the week as I am making Sweet and Sour Chicken

princesspeahead · 23/01/2004 21:25

I am having a MASSIVE SUGAR CRAVING! Actually I have been for about 2 days now but it is getting acute. I have eaten UNBEAREABLY HEALTHILY since Monday, I've been so good. Please will someone give me permission to eat my daughter's pack of Smarties which is calling to me from the larder?
pleasey pleasey please please?

Beccarollover · 23/01/2004 21:30

what else have you eaten today pph?

OP posts:
Demented · 23/01/2004 22:35

Oh no, I've eaten rather alot of belgan choc, it wasn't even nice stuff it was the stuff I keep for cooking. I haven't eaten much at all today been in bed most of the day, need to go shopping tomorrow as there is hardly anything in the house in the way of healthy food, just hope I feel up to it.
